*CAMILLE’S POV*
I dropped the phone when Asher shifted on the bed. Wait, I thought it only Lydia he is cheating on me with.
So there is another lady who goes by the name Sandra. Wow!, just wow!
If he is going to be cheating. Why else is he cheating. It just so confusing. It not a different person entirely has taken over Asher’s body because he isn’t the man I fell in love with and married.
I turned my back against him and closed my eyes and fell asleep immediately.

The next day….
I woke up really early. Asher was still sleeping. I got up from the bed and exit the room. I went to the kitchen and decided to make tea and sandwich.
I finished after some minutes and took it to the dining and proceeded to cleaning the kitchen.

After finishing, I cleaned my hands and left for the dining and met Asher already dressed up. He had an expressionless face on and I didn’t know what he was on his mind.
He sat down not sparing me a glance and started Eating.
Halfway in it, he stared at me and said. “By the way, have you seat. I want to talk to you”
His voice is calm and it actually scares me. Is he finally divorcing me? Is he ready to let me go. It should better be what am thinking.
Slowly I took my seat opposite him and stared at him.
“My mom is coming over!” He said and my heart skipped.
“Wh..Wha..when?” I asked.
“She called yesterday. I don’t know when but it would be this week or the next”
“Okay…”
“So you have to be in your best behavior”
“Am always in my best behavior” I said inwardly and rolled my eyes.
“Also, shop for new clothes today or tomorrow. And foodstuffs and anything necessary you think you should get. Anytime that is convenient for you and mind you, you must not go anywhere apart from that!”
I nodded positively. Why the hell is his mom coming over! She have only visited once when Asher and I were newly married.
Asher was still nice and good to me then. The good old days.
“Here’s my credit card” Asher said dropping it on the dining table. “And I repeat, you must not go somewhere else…”
“I won’t” I said. I dare not after everything turns out when I took the risk in the first place.
Asher finished and stood up. “Am off now” he announced and left immediately.
He is definitely branching Lydia’s or Sandra’s house when coming back from work. Argh!, his business anyways.
Excitedly, I quickly texted Annie. His mom coming is also a good thing.
At least I would be free for today and an opportunity for me to go outside.
TO ANNIE: hi, you are free? Let’s go for shopping.
She replied almost immediately. Sometimes, I wonder if she does anything else than been online.
FROM ANNIE: Totally, should I come over or we meet up?
TO ANNIE: let’s meet up.
FROM ANNIE: Fine by me, text me when you leave the house.
I dropped my phone and went to the bathroom to take my bath.
When am done, I wore a plain blue gown that reach my knee and packed my hair in a ponytail.
I looked at myself in the morning and simply applied lip gloss to my lips.
“Perfect!” I half smiled to myself and carried a white purse and put my phone and Asher’s credit card in it.
I exit the house and locked it and then texted Annie. We are going to meet at the bus-top.

Half an hour later, Annie and I are in a cab going to the mall.
“So is their a special event coming up?” Annie asked.
“Nah. Not really. I just decided to change my wardrobe today”
“Doing that too. Bills on you” Annie winked.
“Sure, your majesty” I smiled and she scoffed.
The cab stopped in front of the mall which was known as one of the best. They sell latest and trending clothes, shoes..etc.
We entered and Annie kept making me try almost all these wears.
“Try this..it will look good on you” I told her referring to an armless short gown.
“Really..am not sure I..”
“Just go try it on and stop talking” I rolled my eyes.
“Fine!” She groaned and collected the cloth from me and went to the dressing room.
I kept checking and then, a gown caught my attention. It was a striped summer Clinton dress.
“Am definitely getting this” i said to myself and turned when I bumped into someone.
“Hey, watch where you are going, loser!” A feminine voice said angrily and I looked up to see a beautiful lady looking dazzling in a short white skirt and yellow crop top.
Her hair was left to fall on her shoulder. Her eyes were glaring really hard at me and I wonder if she had seen me before.
I haven’t even met her before.
I opened my mouth to talk when the dressing room’s door creaked opened and Annie came out looking Gorgeous.
“Hey, how do I look?” She asked turning around, unaware of the lady’s presence.
“H®rrible,,,h®rrible my dear” The lady said and Annie looked at her.
“Excuse me?” Annie furrowed her brows.
“You heard me right.” She aid and then faced me.”and then you, you have to apologize for bumping into me and I need that cloth with you” She said with a commanding tone referring to the striped summer Clifton dress with me.
“Who are you?” Annie asked walking towards us now.
“Am Scarlett..”
“I don’t care about your name, who the hell are you to talk in that manner?”
“Oh dear, if I were you. I wouldn’t say what’s going to put me in trouble”
“And ooh. I don’t have time to exchange words with you. It isn’t worth my time.”
She dragged Annie’s hair forcefully. “You guys are going no where if she don’t apologize and give me the dress”
Annie managed to remove the lady, Scarlett or whatever her name is hand from her hair and dragged her hair instead.
Scarlett screamed as Annie further pulled her hair. “I don’t care who you are and I don’t even want to know who you are but if there’s something you should detest from, it is messing with me or best friend. I pray we never cross path again, loser!” Annie said and released her hair and then pushed her hardly making Scarlett land on her butt on the floor.
“Let’s go Camille” Annie said taking my hand and moving me out of the scene.
