ASHER’S POV
We got to the location the Accident took place and only met the car at one side of the road badly damaged.
I rushed there and checked inside but couldn’t find anyone.
“Where’s Camille?” I asked, my body locked up with rage.
Mateo looked at me with fear but said nothing.
“If i don’t find her, you’re so dead” I said and looked around but couldn’t find her spotlight.
I walked up to Mateo and grabbed his neck.
“Please..please..” he choked unable to breathe.
“Do you know what I feel like doing to you right now..?” I asked, my hands still on his neck tightening it.
“I.uhm…you..” he mumbled unable to talk.
“I feel like strangling you to death but I won’t, at least for now. I give you three days..just three days to find my wife or else you won’t like what’s coming for you” I stated and freed my neck making him stagger back.
“Okay..I will find her”
“Hale and hearty” I added.
His chest tightened with fear but I cared less. “Ok..okay..” he stuttered.

On getting home back, I slumped myself on the couch and raked my hands through my hair frustratedly.
Too bad I won’t be able to make it to work today. I’ve missed lots of days and at this rate, am getting worried of being fired.
But Camille comes first. I can’t allow anything to happen to her. I really don’t want to take the matter to court.
He.ll!, I don’t even want to divorce Camille. She may be naive but she is the type of woman I can’t afford to lose.
I really need to find her and bring her back. She is mine alone and nothing can take her away from me.
After the last discussion with my mom at the hospital after Camille told her how I have been treating her, I felt bad for talking to my mom in that manner.
She’s my favorite person and the last thing I want is to have an argument with her.
I went back to meet her the next day to make things right.

Flashback..
“I’m sorry for the way I talked to you yesterday. I’m back to my senses now” I told her.
She avoided looking at me and I know she is really angry at me.
“Mom.!” I whined.
“I’m really sorry, honestly..” I said.
“Then why? Asher why?” She finally talked. “Why are you hitting your wife? I didn’t raise you that way”
“I’m sorry”
“Will you just stop saying sorry?!, Sorry won’t change anything?! It won’t change the fact you have been hurting your wife..”
“I wasn’t in my right senses I swear. I wouldn’t have done that to Camille.., I just..it’s so complicated. I will make things right. I promise”
“How? She probably Hates you now..”
“I will win her back. Apologize and start afresh”
“I don’t know how you want to do that but okay. Wouldn’t change the fact am highly disappointed in you. I’m going back home. I can’t stay in your house . You both should Visit me when you are in good terms with your wife. “ she said and I nodded.
I tried touching her but she removed her hand. “Don’t touch me..for now.. I need to rest” she said.
“Okay..okay” I sighed.
Flashback over.
I need to get back Camille and the first step is making sure the divorce never takes place and that was what made me hire Mateo so as to stop her but the dumba$s spoilt everything.
I don’t even know where the hell she is and worst is that I don’t know if she’s dead or alive.

*HARRY’S POV**
Next morning …
Chloe’s entered my room to see me searching fervently on my study table.
“Good morning..” She said glancing at me.
“Morning to you too” I replied absentmindedly.
“What are you looking for?” Chloe asked entering my room fully.
“Some flies. I couldn’t find it in the office so I guessed it’s at home” I said.
“What flies?”
“The company flies” I answered.
“Ooh. Where could it be?” Chloe asked as she joined me in searching my table checking the flies on it one after the other.
“That, I don’t know. I saw it some days ago at the office but I don’t really remember. I brought other flies with me home so I must have mistakenly added it”
“I don’t think it’s here”
“Maybe at the office then..I will check again” I said.
“Yeah. You should. It can’t just suddenly disappear.” Chloe commented.
“Yeah. It’s not the first time am loosing a file so I will definitely find it” I told her.
“Yeah..yeah..”
I left my study table and opened my wardrobe while Chloe sat on my bed.
I brought out a blue suit and black suit.
“This or this?” I asked her.
“And since when did you start asking me to choose a shirt for you?” Chloe rolled her eyes.
“Since now” I replied back sarcastically.
“Sorry but am not your girlfriend” Chloe huffed.
“And judging by the fact I don’t have one, i already enroll you to be the current one”
“Eissh. That made me cringe” Chloe stated throwing a pillow at me.
I held up my hand. “Just saying”
I took my towel and disappeared to the bathroom. On coming back, all dressed in a black suit, Chloe was stil on bed, her full attention on her phone.
“Don’t you have work?” I asked rolling my eyes.
“Harry, is my presence disturbing you?”
“Actually yes!”
“That still won’t move me” she retorted “And why are both of them not picking my calls” she said to her phone.
“Who?” I asked curiously.
“Camille and Annie. You remember Camille right?” She asked.
“I don’t” I lied.
“The lady you hit that other day with your car. You should remember” she said.
“I don’t and I really need to be at work.” I said hurriedly, the sound of her name is making my body skittered.
“Ooh” Chloe said a bit disappointedly and then returned back to her phone.
