“Do you remember her, Mr Campbell? Or can I call you dad?” Finn smirked.
“I don’t understand. What’s going on here?” Harry asked and furrowed his brows.
“I will explain but I think you should have your seat. It’s a long story” The woman said and Chloe mumbled again.
“Can you please, untie the clothe on her mouth at least? Please?” Harry pleaded and Finn simply nodded and removed the clothe on Chloe’s mouth.
“Phew!” Chloe breathe out.
“I said have your seat…” The woman repeated but Mr Campbell and Harry remained standing.
“Okay then. Remain standing. Your choice!” She huffed.
“Your “so called” dad came to the club I work in years ago because him and his wife who happens to be your mother had an argument. There were newly married and in his words, he said he didn’t want to do anything that’s going to hurt her so he left the house for her and came to the club instead”
“One thing led to the other and we started talking ..and had a night together”
“Oh wow! So you cheated on mom” Harry stared at his dad angrily.
“Evelyn, you don’t have to…” Mr Campbell was saying but was interrupted.
“Oh wow! So you remember who I am” she said amusedly and Mr Campbell simply sighed.
“Anyways, back to the story. We had a night and he payed me and told me we should go our separate ways and I agreed. Two weeks later, I discovered I was pregnant. I didn’t have the mind to abort it so I decided to keep it. I couldn’t go back to Campbell either because we promised ourselves we won’t meet again. I used the money to take care of myself and unborn child..”
“And 9month you gave birth to Finn. Dmn!” Harry completed for her and slammed his palm on his forehead.
“Yes. Exactly…” Evelyn nodded smiling.
“Then why did you come back? Why are you here?” Harry asked in anger.
The fact he had a step bro and his dad cheated on his mom is giving him an headache already.
“Because I couldn’t watch my son suffer when his dad have a lot and his siblings are enjoying their lives to the fullest…He is his eldest son and he deserve all his inheritance” Evelyn stated.
“So I decided the only way to make it work is to get through Chloe” Finn chirped in.
“When I met her for the first time, I knew I Won’t have to do lots of work because she obviously was attracted to me already..”
“So you used me?” Chloe said angrily and Harry knew if she wasn’t tied, she would have charged towards Finn and give him the beating of his life.
“Oh Barbie. I didn’t entirely use you..I mean, I didn’t have sx with you. I was planning to actually but it will be an abomination you know..”Finn said calmly and this time around, Harry couldn’t hold myself and charged towards him but his men were fast to stop him.
“Leave me alone. Let me teach the idiot a lesson. You enjoyed playing with my sister’s heart didn’t you?” Harry said angrily trying to free himself from the men’s grip.
“Violence won’t take you anywhere” he muttered and anger thundered through him.
“Just tell your men to let go of me and I swear to God, I’m going to beat the he.ll out of you” Harry said.
Finn Simply laughed. “Need I remind you I can do anything to your sister if you don’t calm the he.ll down?!” Finn said and this seem to calmed Harry down.
Evelyn took off from Finn. “Actually, when I heard Campbell was getting married. I was really mad so I had no choice but to ruin it”
“So you were the woman at the church” Chloe Chirped in.
“So you attended the wedding?” Mr Campbell and Harry asked at the same time.
“Oh well..” Chloe bite her lips. “I did and that was because I was planning to ruin the wedding to”
“Chloe, I told you not to” Harry sighed.
“I just couldn’t stand the sight of my dad getting married to his daughter’s age mate and your ex for that matter. Oh common” Chloe uttered while Mr Campbell said nothing.
“Oh wow! You are right tho. I was the one at the wedding!” Evelyn saId.
“Damn! What exactly it is you want?” Harry asked, the revelations too much for him to handle.
“I was hoping you would ask that” Finn Smiled.
“You were looking for something for some days now. Is it likely this?” Finn asked and Harry’s eyes widened when Finn brought out some flies which he recognized as the company flies.
“You took that ?! Oh My God!” Harry exclaimed.
“I’m your assistant remember? It was so so easy..I just want you to sign it and Your sister would go scot free”
“You want me to hand the company over to you?! He.ll no!” Harry disagreed.
“You don’t value your sister’s life after all. Well, it’s your choice. I will have no choice but to end her life!”
“No!” Mr Campbell and Harry said at the same time.
“Then sign it and oh, less I forgot. Dad, You also have to do something to save your daughter’s life”
“What’s that?” He asked.
“You’ve to sign some papers too. Which is you have to marry my mom.”
“This isn’t right!” Mr Campbell said.
“You see. It’s like a game. If Harry gives me the company and you sign the papers to marry my mom, then Chloe will be going out alive but if neither of you refuses to do this then am sorry but chloe is going to lose her life” Finn said coldly.
“Harry, don’t sign it!” Chloe said.
Harry looked at his sister in shock. Finn was shocked too.
“I see you don’t value your life” Finn told her.
Chloe wasn’t in her right frame of mind at the moment. She can’t believe she fell in love with her own brother. She’s at the verge of crying and all she want at the moment was to end her life.
“Just shut the fk up!” Chloe said angrily.
“Are you signing it or should I go ahead and kill her?” Finn asked boredly.
“I will sign it” Harry said.
“Good decision” Finn smirked.
“But I want to know how you were able to get the job at my company”
“You made it easier actually and you weren’t did the one that conducted the interview so I made use of someone’s help”
“Who?” Harry asked.
“She would be here shortly. Just sign and let get this over with”
Harry nodded wondering who the betrayer is. He flies and a pen was handed to him.
This was it! He was going to give up everything!
“Harry! Don’t!” Chloe said trying to free her self.
“You Should also sign this” Evelyn said to Mr Campbell.
Harry ignored Chloe as his hands was shaking. He was about signing it when the door opened and everyone in the room attention turned to the person that entered.
“Hello everyone. Sorry, I’m late” the person said.
“You’re here. I was just talking about you” Finn muttered.
Harry eyes widened as his eyes locked with the person’s own.
It was Avery! His secretary.
“Holla!, stop looking at me and sign the freaking document” Avery said strictly and Harry staggered back in shock.
