Harry’s pov
I faced Miranda when Camillle left. I know something must have gone wrong.
“What happened?” I asked her.
“Uhm..why are you asking me that?” She asked as she entered back the house closing the door behind her.
She came over this evening claiming she wants to see Chloe but when I told her Chloe is asleep in her room. She just said okay and stayed. I couldn’t chase her so I just let her be.
“She seems to leave in an angry manner. So I was wondering if you….”
She interrupted me. “If I What?, Harry, are you accusing me of saying something to her or what?”
“No..no..no..I’m just asking.” I said.
“Do you like her or something? I noticed you looked at her like you do”
Okay, I know Miranda and I are like kind of close and she is my boss but she shouldn’t expect me to tell her everything. She is becoming clingy lately and it’s really annoying.
“I don’t know what you are talking about?” I replied her.
“She has your jacket with you? Why?” She asked.
“Okay, that’s it. You don’t have the right to question me in that manner. I’m not trying to be rude or anything but it’s really annoying” I said before I can control myself.
“Wow!” Miranda looked taken aback.
“Really? So I’m poking my nose in your personal affairs. Like seriously?” Her expression changed and I’m not sure if she is angry or hurt.
I never even wanted a female friend but Miranda was so nice to me and I see her as a friend. Nothing more.
After our date yesterday, she kept ranting about how her dress is ruined and saying all sorts of bad things about camille.
When I tried defending camille, she shouted at me and I just had to let her be and said nothing and just listened to her rant.
I didn’t know what she said to camille when she came over. It was obvious camille came to return my jacket. Honestly, I don’t want her to. A part of me want something of mine to be in her Possession.
She left just like that. I want to talk to her. I don’t know what exactly but I just want to be with her and ..
Okay, I’m crazy.
“You are just going to make me look stupid” Miranda’s voice brought me back into consciousness.
I had zoned out.
“No..I…”
“It’s fine. I’m leaving” Miranda said and before I could talk, she left immediately closing the door behind her with force.
She would come around, that I’m sure of.
I sighed and settled on the couch trying not to think.

CAMILLE’S POV…..
“Hmm..leave me alone” I groaned with my eyes closed. I was still feeling sleepy.
“Wake up or I’m going to pour you water” a strict voice said.
“Just go away” I mumbled.
I didn’t hear the voice again and I was grateful. I hugged the pillow with me more tightly as I proceeded to go back into the dream world when I felt water been poured on me.
I jumped off the bed as my eyes widened. I groaned when I saw Annie looking at me with a smirk.
“Oh goodness. All I asked for is a nice sleep. Can’t you grant me some”
“No. Because we have a lot to talk about”
“About what?” I rubbed my eyes.
“About How you are in love with Harry” she said and I staggered back in fear.
“What…what..ha ha! So funny..who told you that” I shrugged, laughing nervously.
“Well, a certain person did and she goes by the name, camille” she answered, staring intently at me.
“Well..she is..is lying” I stuttered.
“Oh!, so she is also lying about having a night with him?”
“What! How do you know that?” I asked.
“That’s the problem camille! You don’t speak up. You don’t tell me stuffs. What am I to you? Someone you just happen to know?”
“It isn’t like that, Annie” I uttered.
“Then explain to me how it’s ! I feel like this best friend of a thing is just a title. You don’t trust me to tell you about the things happening in your life. I’m always the one telling you everything. So if you hadn’t been drunk yesterday night, I wouldn’t have known all these”
“Annie…” I called.
“It’s fine! I’m going to go prepare for work now” she said and made to leave.
I quickly rushed over to her and held her hand. “I’m sorry. Like really sorry. I was planning to tell you.just don’t know how to” I said, feeling guilty.
“Hmm mmh” Annie simply said.
“I’m just going to tell you about everything. Okay?”
“Okay” She said and I dragged her with me and made her sit on the bed.
I started telling her. From the day Asher and I had an argument and I went to a club house and met Harry.
“Wait..” she stopped.
“You said he said something about being heartbroken that day”
“Yeah?”
“nothing. Continue”
I then told her about the trip to L.A. how we coincidentally met again and what happened there.
“So that’s it” I completed.
“Hmm. I think he likes you” Annie says.
“Hmm?”
“Well, I guess he said those hurtful words because he knows he can’t have a chance with you. First of all, you are married. Secondly, he is suffering from heartbreak. Guys like that find it hard to give love a chance again”
“But he is dating Miranda now”
“And how do you know that?”
“She told Me” I rolled my eyes.
“I don’t like her and I don’t trust her, why don’t you ask Harry himself”
“Wait, what?. You do know Harry and I aren’t friends right?”
“Yeah..yeah..yeah.. you love him right?” She asked and I scratched my hair.
“You don’t need to feel shy about it.”
“Fine! I do” I said.
“and you want to be his friend. Perhaps, more than a friend” Annie asked.
“Kind of” I said, shyly.
This feels so weird and surprising at the same time, after what Asher did, I don’t expect myself to fall for any guy again but here I am, crazily in love with a guy that don’t seem to give a fk about me.
“Okay here is it. Ask him if he is dating Miranda and we would know the next step from there..”
“What? Are you crazy?” I said looking at Annie like she have gone crazy.
“Just calm down, I have a plan” she said and then smirked.
“I don’t trust that smirk”
“Just trust me, okay” she requested.
“Okay..” I said even though, I have a bad feeling about it.
