Chapter 34
“Are you okay?”Gerald asked as he came to seat beside her on the bed.
“Judging from the look on your face. You must have heard everything John told me”Arabella said in return and he nodded.
“Turns out he is Fiona father. Its really a shock to me”Arabella added as she drank the glass of water that had been given to her by Gerald.
“So what are you going to do about it now cause I think John wouldn’t stay still knowing the truth”
“We will just have to tell Fiona first. I don’t care about the press finding out the truth, what bothers me is Fiona.
She needs to hear it all from me”Arabella said and Gerald nodded in return.
“Then we will leave first thing tomorrow. Why don’t you go and pack your stuff while I book our flight” Gerald suggested and she stood up to do as he says only for her to be pulled back into his arms.
He kssed her on the lips and also on the forehead. “I love you”He muttered while she beamed him a smile.
“I love you too”She said in return before leaving the room.

They got back to New York a little late in the afternoon.
Fiona must be back from school and so she could sit her down and talk to her.
She was still thinking on how she would tell Fiona the truth that she didn’t even realise that the car had stopped in Gerald mansion.
“Are you okay?”Gerald asked jolting her back to reality and she nodded in reply.
They got out of the car and head into the house only to see Mrs Milly hurry towards them.
“Am glad you are back boss Gerald”Mrs Milly said looking apprehensive.
“What’s going on?”Gerald asked when he saw her behaviour.
“Its just that someone…..”She stopped when Fiona ran out of the study crying and on seeing them, she ran towards her glaring at her angrily.
“Is it true? “Fiona asked.
“Is what true Fiona?”Arabella asked feeling a little Apprehensive herself.
“Is it true that your my birth mom? Is it true that my mom who died isn’t my mom?”She threw the question at her.
“My love, I……”Arabella stopped talking when Fiona hit her hand away.
“Tell me that it isn’t true! Tell me that your not my mother!”Fiona yelled at her.
“I am your mom”Arabella told her not wanting to prolong the whole thing.
“Its a lie. My mom died already. You and that man are both lying. I hate you”Fiona yelled at Arabella.
“Don’t be rude Fiona!”Gerald said trying to reprimand her but she glared at him too.
“I hate you too! You knew about it and yet you kept it a secret. I hate you all”She yelled them both before running up the stairs.
Arabella wanted to go after her but Gerald pulled her back.
“I will talk to her”He offered before going up the stairs.
