HIDDEN WIFE : CHAPTER 71 – 80

Chapter 76

THIRD PERSON’S pov.

“Nanny, let go, let go you’re hvrting me” Mr Baldwin whined as he tried to pull nanny Pamela’s hand from his ear.

“Have I made myself clear?!” she growled seriously.

“Yes, nanny, I’ll make sure we move to another room downstairs”

Nanny Pamela cleared at her shortly before pushing him away from her side, she pulled out a stool and sat down.

“Fk, nanny, you almost cut off my ear” he rubbed his ear softly.

“Good for you” she cleared her throat. “Now, let’s talk about your wife”

She paused for a moment.

“Rachel is still a kid…”

“A kid?” Mr Baldwin smirked and shook his head. “Nanny, my wife knows way too much to be referred to as a kid, and you can tell how much she knows from her round stomach” he let out a satisfied and fulfilled laugh.

Nanny reached forward, and $macked the back of his head.

“Shut up and listen to me, navghty child!”

“Oh”

“Like I was telling you, you must learn to tolerate your wife, Duncan”

Mr Baldwin furrowed his eyebrows slightly.

“Nanny, I’ve always been tolerate towards her”

“I know, but you should be more tolerate now that she’s pregnant, because her mood swings always get over her, and she tend to think with her mood swings now”

Mr Baldwin was silent, he doesn’t know what to say anymore, or he doesn’t even have anything to say.

“Then, has she agreed to go back home with me?” Was all he could ask.

“Yes, but you shouldn’t do anything that would get her angry at the moment, always compromise for her and pamper her”

He nodded.

“Do whatever she wants you to do without complaints, and show her extra love and care, because that’s the only way she can forgive you and that’s the only thing that can save your marriage right now”

He nodded again.

“Always remember my advice, the wife is never wrong, and it’s always the husband’s fault everytime something goes wrong”

“Yes, nanny”

Nanny Pamela sighed.

“I’m not happy seeing my nephew’s home on the verge of collapsing”

RACHEL’S pov.

05:51pm

My eyes snapped open when I heard my alarm ringing, I tried to reach for it to turn it off, but was refrained.

I looked down and saw arms wrapped protectively around me, I turned around and saw Duncan staring at me with a small smile.

“You’re awake” he muttered.

“Hm” I hummed.

I turned away from him and turned off the alarm.

“Can I have a guess of what you and nanny talked about?” he asked.

His words made me roll my eyeballs, he wanna have a guess as if he doesn’t already know what we talked about -hmph!

“I’ll come with you, but that doesn’t mean I have forgiven you” I told him what he wanna hear.

“Huh?” he asked.

“Hurry up and get your enemy out of the way, then we’ll think of building our relationship again, but until then I’ll come back home with you”

“But we… ”

I removed his arms from my waist and sat up, then rested my back against the headboard.

“Duncan, you have more than two months left to take your enemy down”

“Two months?”

“Yes” I answered firmly. “I don’t wanna bring our baby into a troubled and targeted home”

He stayed silent for a moment, and nodded slowly.

“You’re right, my heartbeat” he sighed, he leaned closer to my baby bump. “Just give daddy some time, daddy will take down the bad guys before your arrival, ok champion?”

He placed a kss on my stomach, I guess he’s kssing our son’s head -at least that’s his thought.
Then he faced me.

“But you’ve been constantly talking about not forgiving since yesterday”

“Have I?”

“Yeah” he nodded. “Why can’t we talk about something else while we’re together?”

“What should we talk about?”

“Hm..” he twisted his lips as he had a brief thought. “About we talk about our baby, like his names and stuff?”

Our baby.. he’s right, up till now we still have decided what to call him when he’s born.

Funk, this just reminded me of broken homes.

The kids in broken homes suffer the couple’s separation most, and our baby is already, practically the one suffering more from our (Duncan and I) fight -imagine, we still haven’t decided his name.

“If we have a boy, what should we call him?” he asked me.

If we have a boy?
Of course it’s a boy, I’ve already confirmed his gender but unfortunately for Duncan he doesn’t know that yet, and I ain’t gonna tell him either, he’s so gonna be surprise later.

But my eyebrows furrowed slightly when I recollected his question.

“Shouldn’t you be the one to name him?”

“Uh, let’s just say I’m giving you the honor” he replied.

I scoffed, and rolled my eyeballs.

“That’s because you don’t have any names on your mind” I said.

He chuckled lightly.

“You got me”

He’s not at fault though, because I left when we were supposed to be planning all these.

“Well, since we both don’t have any names on our minds, let’s just wait a little longer and take our time to find him a suitable name” I rubbed my tummy fondly with a small smile. “There’s still enough time to do that”

He raised his eyebrows.

“Enough time?” I nodded. “Baby, you’ll seven months gone in two weeks, and you think it’s enough time?” he asked eagerly.

I reached forward and held his face in my palms.

“Relax, even if I’m eight months gone, we can still choose a name”

“But… ”

“Just calm down” I told him.

He stared at me for a moment, then sighed and nodded.

Then we stayed in a brief silence, with Duncan staring intensely in my eyes, and my eyes wouldn’t look away from his lips in return. I couldn’t help but feel a strong urge of pushing him back on the bed, and have a ho t make out session with him, and before I knew it, I found myself leaning towards him.

Our lips were just an inch apart, when my stomach saw this moment as the perfect time to growl, and in that same moment, there’s a knock on the door.

“Rachel, Duncan?” Nanny Pamela’s voice sounded from outside.

“Yes, Nanny” I answered.

Duncan threw a glare towards the door, and started grumbling coherently.

“Dinner is ready, come down let’s eat” she said. “Both of you” she added.

“We’re not hungry, nanny!” he grumbled. “You just interrupted a very important moment” he bite out.

We heard nanny Pamela’s laughter from outside, I can Imagine her shaking her head at Duncan’s childishness right now.

I wouldn’t say nanny Pamela interrupted us, because my stomach growled first before she knocked on the door.

“Well, if you aren’t hungry, my grandson is”

“Nanny, we… ”

“I don’t care what you wanted to do” she cut off Duncan’s words. “Get your butts down for dinner, you can continue at night, and I won’t disturb then because I’ll be sleeping, like every normal human is supposed to be doing at night” she emphasized on ‘sleeping’ as if Duncan and I wouldn’t be sleeping too.

“We won’t be sleeping” Duncan said.

“Oh, did I think out loud?”

“Of course” he answered. “And we’ll be having a very rough sx tonight, because you’ve starve me for four months”

I $macked his chest and pvshed him off me.

“If you’re waiting for a rough sèx, then I’m sorry to report Mr Baldwin, we won’t be having rough sx for the next three months because these are the critical time for our baby”

He knitted his brows in a deep, and disappointed frown.

“But… ”

“There are no buts, sir, we don’t want our baby to have bumps on his head when he’s born, do we?”

He shook his head slowly.

“Then be a good boy, and listen to momma” I patted his shoulder as though he’s my five years old son.

“Rough sx is out of the options, can we at least make sweet love?”

“Duncan, we…”

“My heartbeat, I’ve missed you a lot, didn’t you miss me too?”

Is that even a question he’s supposed to ask me? Of course, I miss him because I’ve been having wet dreams about his thing since I left.

I don’t know if this happens to every pregnant woman, but I’m always h®rny everytime I think about Duncan, and that doesn’t end well because I always end up secretly mastvrbating in my bathroom.

“My heartbeat?”

I blinked. “Huh?”

“What do you say? Can we make sweet love tonight?” he asked.

“Uh, well… ” I trailed off and jumped off the bed. “.. that will depend on how good you’ll treat me at the dinning table” I said.

He sprang up at once.

“I’ll be so good to you for sure” he said.

“Hm” I hummed.

He wrapped an arm around my waist.

“Let’s go” he said.

“Are we walking there?”

He gave me a confused look.

“We’re going downstairs for dinner” he reminded me as it I’ve forgotten.

“Oh” I sighed. “But my legs are feeling so tired, I can’t walk or stand or… ”

My sentence was left incomplete as he swooped me in his arms.

“I’ll carry you” he said.

“Can you? Because I’m very heavy right now” I nodded at my stomach.

“You’re both my responsibilities, and I can’t get tired of carrying you two”

“Oh, that’s so sweet” I replied, then secretly smirked. “Let’s go”

He nodded and headed for the door, I pulled it open and we came face to face with Nanny Pamela.

“Nanny, you’re still here?!” I gasped out.

“Hm” she hummed as she nodded her head.

“Huh?”

She’s been standing here all these while that we’ve been talking about rough sx, and sweet love?!

“Don’t worry, I’m deaf and I didn’t hear anything”

“You didn’t?” Duncan and I asked at once, and she shook her head.

Here eyes flickered towards my big, round stomach and she cleared her throat.

“Whatever you do later, just remember to keep my grandson’s head intact” with that she headed towards the stairs.

Duncan and I exchanged looks, my cheeks flamed up in embarrassment and I quickly hide my face on his chest.

“Can we skip dinner?” I asked him.

“Unfortunately, no, nanny won’t let us”

I groaned and hit his chest.

“It’s all your fault” I blamed him.

He laughed.

“I’m sorry, baby”

I can’t believe the mother figure in my life, and she’s kinda my mother-in-law now, just heard my husband and I talking about sx! This is super embarrassing!
