Chapter 62 (A new family member)
GOLDEN HIGH SCHOOL*
The students of Golden high school had already gathered outside the school, with their graduation attire.
Asha stepped down from the car and was welcomed by Otto and prudent.
“You are glowing Asha, it seems like my future brother in law is taking good care of you…I also heard he brought you a new house, which I won’t believe until I see it myself.” Prudent said.
“Sure, you guys are welcome to come anytime.” Asha chuckled but prudently raised her brows at her.
“You are tardy, you know that right?” prudent asked and Asha facepalmed herself.
“I am sorry, I woke up late, been sleeping a lot lately.”
“Yeah, yeah, anyway you look in your graduation gown.” Otto complimented and she smiled.
Otto crossed his hands over her shoulder and gasped before removing it.
“What happened?” Asha asked innocently.
Otto placed his hands on Asha’s forehead and when he felt the hotness coming from Asha, he dropped down his hand.
“Asha, are you ok?You seem sick.” Otto replied and she chuckled.
Prudent placed her hand on Asha’s forehead and nodded her head. “Otto is right sis, are you sure you are ok?” Prudent also asked.
“Can you guys stop all this?It’s just cold and catarrh. I will be fine.”
Otto shook his head “No, I am not sure, your eyes are also very white and I suggest you should meet a doctor.” he said in a concerned tone.
“I support Otto sis, you should meet a doctor.” Prudent also said and Asha raised her hands.
“Fine, I will see a doctor but it will be after graduation…I don’t want to miss it.”
“Alright, let’s go take a seat then.” Otto said and they walked over to sit and sat down.
Soon the teacher’s voice was heard, “I hereby acknowledge the students who participated in the scholarship exam.
The students applauded and Otto leaned close to Asha, “You wrote the scholarship exam didn’t you?” Otto asked and she only hmmmed.
She couldn’t speak properly because of the hot sensation she was feeling inside her stomach.
‘Gosh, I didn’t have breakfast but I’ve always been ok, without having breakfast.” She thought with a frown on her face.
Otto watched her for a while and realized she was restless, he moved his chair close to hers and placed her head on his shoulder then he started rubbing her shoulder.
“Thanks.” she uttered.
Shortly, the teacher’s voice came up again.
“Number one is; Josh Lincoln. Can we welcome Josh Lincoln as he walks up to the stage?” She said and the students applauded.
The student went up the stage and he stood at a corner.
“The second participant is; Asha Davenport. Can we all welcome Asha as she walks up to the stage?” She said and the students started to applaud.
Otto let go of Asha and she stood up but when she was about to take a step forward, she held her head as dizziness clouded her.
Before Otto and Prudent could say a word Asha collapsed on the floor.

THE LUCAS’S MANSION*
The living room went dead silent as nobody could say a word. Camdan closed his eyes and inhaled deeply, the thoughts running through his mind was so much and he wasn’t comfortable.
Josh noticed the tension around Camden and he smiled, since he had already made up his mind.
“Dad, I want to go back to spain.” Josh broke the silence and all eyes turned to him.
“But who is going to take over the company when you are gone.” Mr Lucas asked.
“The person who has been taking care of it from the start.” Josh replied and his dad sighed.
“Camdan is still my brother and he’s also your son even though he’s not your blood. Camdan has always been there for you and company. He has always done everything to please, he has never cared about his happiness until now.” Josh explained and Camdan cleaned his face as it was already soaked with tears.
“I will just finish up with my marketing company in Spain and start a new life with my family.” He concluded.
Camdan left his seat and rushed to Josh as he pulled him into an embrace. He never thought Josh would stand up for him this way and he felt bad because he has been treating Josh badly lately.
“Camdan come here.” Mr Lucas said and Camdan rushed to him and Mr Lucas pulled him into a hug.
“I am glad to have you both as my son.” He smiled.
“What on earth did I miss?” They heard a voice behind them.
“Susan?!” Mr Lucas called. His Jaw dropped which made his mouth open slightly. He couldn’t believe that the love of his life was alive.
“You might want to close your mouth otherwise an insect might fly into it.” Susan said and chuckled lightly.
Mr Lucas left his seat and with great rush he ran towards her and pulled her into a tight embrace.
“What happened, how come you are still alive, I mean I was at your funeral and…” he was saying when she placed a finger on his lips.
“All that doesn’t matter, what matters now is that I am alive and healthy.” She said with a smile and he cried.
“I’m really sorry for the way I treated you.”
“It’s fine, let’s forget about the past and focus on the now.” She looked at the other side of the living room and saw Camdan.
“Who is that handsome looking young man?” She asked out loud and Camdan rushed to her.
“Aunt?” he called and she shook her head side to side.
“Call me Mom” She said and he hugged her.
“Thanks mom.”
Josh, who was watching the whole scene with a smile, was disrupted by the sudden ringing of his phone.
He looked at the name on his screen and he quickly picked the call.
After a few minutes, he rushed to his parents.
“An emergency occurs, I need to leave now.” Josh rushed his words and ran out.

SUNSHINE CITY HOSPITAL*
“Doctor, how is she?” Prudent asked, immediately the doctor checked Asha’s pulse.
The doctor smiled widely and that made Otto and Prudent share a glance.
“She is fine but it seems she has been skipping her meals.” The doctor said,
“Her meals?” Otto asked and the doctor replied with a nod.
“Are you her husband?” the doctor asked.
Otto itched the back of his head and laughed nervously. “No, I am not,” he replied.
“But I am her sister.”
Prudent chimed in and the doctor smiled. Then he wrote something on a piece of paper and passed it to Prudent.
“Get those drugs at the dispensary before going. It will help her ear well and it will also make the baby strong.”
“Baby!!?” Prudent and Otto screamed.
“Of course, the young lady over here is two weeks pregnant.” The doctor smiled.
Shortly a nurse enters the room “Doctor John, the comatosed patient is now awake.” She announced.
“I will take my leave now.” The doctor said to Prudent and Otto before walking out.
Prudent held Asha’s hand “I am going to be an aunt for the second time, I bet Josh will be so happy.” Prudent smiled and kssed Asha’s hand.
Almost immediately the door burst open and Josh walked in. He felt a sting of pain in his heart when he saw her lying on the bed unconscious.
“What is wrong with her?” Josh asked as he took a sir next to her.
“The doctor said she’s two weeks pregnant. Do you know anything about it?” Prudent asked and he shook his head sideways.
He leaned close to her and pecked her forehead. The news of her being pregnant lightened up something in him. He was beyond happy.
“Here,” Prudent passed the paper to him.
“Those are the names of the drugs the doctor prescribed that she should take.” Prudent said.
“I will be right back.” Josh said immediately he took the paper and rushed out.

Asha woke up to the sound of the drip. She lazily opened her eyes and sat upright on the bed.
“Asha you are awake. How are you feeling now?” Prudent asked and she looked round the room.
“Where is Otto?” She asked.
“Otto had to leave for an emergency.”
“Oh ok, what happened?How did I get here?” Asha asked as she rubbed her head, trying to suppress the headache she was feeling.
“You are two weeks pregnant Asha, didn’t you find anything different about yourself?”
“I am pregnant?, But that’s impossible.” Asha said with a frown and just then Josh walked in.
WAYS TO MAKE MONEY IN LESS THAN AN HOUR
“Baby you are awake, let’s go home.”
“Yes, let’s go home,” She replied coldly and walked out before Josh could say a word.
