MAX POV
“Good morning boss, am so glad you are back from your trip”My secretary greeted as she walked into my office with me.
“What’s wrong, did some thing happen while I left “I asked as I sat in the CEO seat.
“A lot has happened, a lot of message have been left for you”she replied quickly
“Start relaying them, I don’t want to read it myself “I said
“Well then,I will start with the business part, Mr Frederick has just pull out his shares and what’s worst he is asking others to do the same”
“Get new investors then, I never really liked that man and if he leaves, good riddance”I said
“Okay sir, you have to an appointment with Brianna, the owner of Soul interior designs ,she wants to talk to you about the deal you will be making with their company”She said
“I also have to talk to her too, make the appointment today”I said
“And lastly on the business matters, you have been nominated as the best entrepreneur for the year, the award ceremony will be taking place in the address on this invitation card”She said
“Just put it some where, when am through with the rest, you can tell me more about it”I said
“Now on the personal matter, your wife came here three days ago and cause a scene”She said and judging from her expression,I could tell that she didn’t like it
“Tell me more about it”I said
“Well she came here asking for Joanne?”
“Who is Joanne?”
“My assistant secretary” Daniella replied
“Why did she attack her?”I asked
“She thinks you are having an affair with her?” She said and i sighed.
This is so typical of Rose, any time I get close to some one,she thinks am dating them, she had accused a lot of my female workers saying that they were my lover but she has never attacked any one of them, she attacking Joanne is a new discovery for me,I thought softly
“What happen to Joanne then!”
“The poor thing quit and am having trouble doing the whole job myself and …..”I said
“Hire some one else”I interrupted her
“And also your mom called, she wants to know when you will go back home to visit them”she continued
“You can as well tell them that am never going back and they should stop asking me to come home”
“Okay sir and then lastly, your wife left with Daniel”on hearing that,I stopped what ever I was doing to stare at her
“What do you mean by she left with Daniel”I asked
“On the day she attacked Joanne, she asked me to book her a flight home, I thought she told you about it that is why I never told you”she called
“As you can see she never told me about it”I said
“Rose is really getting on my nerves, why would she leave with my son and tell me nothing about it”I said hitting the table in anger.
“Am sorry sir, I should have told you about it but I…….”
“Your apology won’t do a thing, just book me a ticket, I have to go to them”I said as I took out my phone to cancel any other appointment I have.

ANDREA POV
The sound of the alarm blaring woke me up,I got out of bed and stretched a bit and turned off the annoying alarm.
I went to the bath room and got dressed for work.
Being an interior designer isn’t some thing that is easy but I like it and that is why I chose it as my career and though the pay isn’t that much, it’s still manageable,I thought as I finished touching up my make up.
I left the room and went downstairs, the flat I own isn’t some thing that flashy but it’s what suit my taste and it’s the first place I bought with my first salary.
“Good morning darling”My mom greeted as she stood in the kitchen cooking up our break fast.
I couldn’t answer because my phone rang and quickly I picked
?”Hello!”
?”Are you on way yet,we have a issue here?” Cathy a co worker of mine at soul interior designs said
?”What happen”I asked as I kept all my stuff in my bag
?” Well the painter you hired isnt coming and no matter how we try to reach him, he just wouldn’t pick”Cathy said
?”Then get a new painter, you know that the painting must be done before we can start on any other job, so get a new painter”I said
?”That’s where the problem is, the painters we have called are too busy to come and work for us” she said
?”This is bad”I said softly
?”What are we going to do Andrea?”Cathy asked
?”Just continue with the necessary work, I will get a painter there “I said and switch off the phone
“Work problems?”my mom asked
“Yes, I will have to get to do a painter hunt today and all that aside? Where is Mary?”I asked
“I think she will still be upstairs, she stayed up late,doing that dancing thing”my mom said
“That girl and dancing, I don’t know what to do with her any more”I said
“I think you should leave her to do what she wants”My mom said
“I can accept her wanting to be other things mom but I don’t want her to be a dancer”I said as I went to help my mom in the kitchen
“Is it because it reminds you of her father?”she asked and I stopped what I was doing to stare at her
“Mom please don’t ever talk about Mary father,I beg you”I said softly
“Fine then I won’t! I will go and get Mary down here”she said leaving the kitchen and for a while I stood mixing the egg and also thinking about what she said.
“It’s been sixteen years, I don’t owe him any explanation”I muttered to my self.
Once I finished serving the omelet, my mom ran down the stairs looking worried
“What’s wrong?”I asked
“It’s Mary”she said stretching a paper to me.
I took it from her and read the content in it,
“By the time you will be reading this, I will already be at ( Move company) , they are having an audition for new talent, I knew that if I told you this in person, you will forbid me to go,so I decided to write you this letter instead, I want become a dancer mom, let me try this out, who knows I might get into the company, I only told you this so you won’t have to be worried,I love and respect you and grand ma but I can’t let go of dancing mom, I really love it and so have decided to pursue my dream”
I finished reading the letter and I got so angry, why won’t Mary listen to me about dancing,I thought as I felt my anger building up.
“Mary will get it from me!”I said as I took my bag, heading out of the house.
“Andrea take it easy with your daughter”my mom yelled at me but I wasnt listening to her , the only thing I was thinking about was Mary and the company she went to.
That company belongs to jack and it’s been sixteen years since have seen any one of them.
Have been avoiding them for years now and have managed to do that until today, why did Mary have to go to the audition,I thought as I hailed for a cab.

MARY POV
I stood amongst the crowd waiting for my number to be called.
I feel so nervous, have been dancing all my life and have never been nervous but today I feel as nervous as he.ll.
“You know all you have to do is go in and show them what you have got, I don’t get nervous when I dance at home but when today am quite nervous, what about you ?” I asked the stranger standing beside me
“Do we know each other?”he asked softly and I moved away
“What a cranky guy”I muttered as I walked amongst the others to be called for the audition.
Just then I heard a lot of murmur coming from the door way.
Could that be Jack Cruise,the owner of this company, if I can get him to see a little bit of my dancing skills, he might just decide to accept me into his company,I thought as I moved among the crowd to take a peek but It wasn’t Jack Cruise, instead it was some guy, a very hand some guy at that,I thought as I joined the crowd to stare at this hand some stranger.
Just who is he? I thought as I kept on gawking at him.
