“sir….I…I ..”she shuttered nervously
“you what”
“I was already working on it”I blurted out
“how”I asked in shock
“I took my time and research on what she was doing to get our best investors ”
“why the left and how to get them back”
“I finally found a way and invited them over for a meeting tomorrow,I wasn’t easy convincing them to come but they finally agreed ”
“I was going to tell you about it later in the day” she explained
To say I was impressed was an understatement,,she’s here only a few weeks and handling things like she’s here for ages
Truth be told getting back those types investors was really difficult
“you can leave”I said coldly and watched her walk away

I could see his eyes lit up immediately I told him
I was able to get them back for a meeting
the expression later changed to an unreadable one

He couldn’t even say thank you, I spent sleepless nights trying to figure out all those things on my own
During lunch I was about to follow Clara out when he called me his office
“Arrange those files”he said without looking up at me
my jaw dropped
I starred at all the files on his desk and on the floor am not sure I will finish in the next two hours,they were so much
It was neatly arrange on his shelf earlier on how did they end up scattered
I knelt down and started picking them up one after the other
I can’t believe he made me miss lunch
some hours later
I was done, exhausted and hungry
who said arranging of files were easy
“I’m done sir”I said and he nodded without looking at me
I walked out of his office and met a neatly arranged takeaway on my desk
am sure it’s from Clara
I digged in and ate hungrily
Apart from the constant yelling I get from Kulture ,she and her father is no difference

I was done for the day
I went to pick Chris up from school and we head home,he helped me prepare dinner fast
while I freshened up
I hailed a cab to my boss apartment and went straight to the kitchen
minutes later I was done cooking,I placed them on the dining and waited for him to come downstairs
He came down with his phone glued to his ear on a call
He sat down and began eating while I went back to the kitchen and waited patiently
I went back and check he was done,,I cleared up the dishes, washed them and prepared to take my leave
“I will take my leave now”I said and he only nodded with his eyes glued to his phone
I felt like using my hand bag to hit his phone off his hand do he could atleast notice me
I mean all he dose is nod and act like am totally invisible
this wasn’t how was when I first saw him
okay I just really wanted him to notice me or even glance at me
I hailed a cab to my apartment and opened the door with my spare key
i made sure I didn’t wake Chris up,,I walked to his room and found him sleeping peacefully on his bed
i used to duvet to cover him properly before giving him a kss on his forehead and left
I stripped myself and entered the shower, letting the water hit all part of my body
I wore my pyjamas and collapsed on the bed
Having two job was harder than I thought
