Chris paced around the big living room waiting for the arrival of Minnie”
He had just finished preparing dinner when he noticed her absence in the house,
At first he thought she was inside her room,it was until he checked her room and found it empty
“Where could pigtail be? He muttered holding his phone tightly
If only I have her number” he thought as he walked outside to wait for her”.
Just as he got outside, Minnie walked into the gate but not alone, a guy was beside her as they kept laughing
Chris scoffed loudly looking at the two” as he
” Where the hell are you coming from? Chris asked as they got to him
“Excuse me what’s your business with where am coming from?? You are not my guardian so fuck off!! Minnie snapped
“I may not be your guardian but as long as you are still in my house, it’s my duty to know where you are going and where you are coming from”and who is he? Chris asked glaring at the guy
“Hi am Blake, Minnie’s friend” the guy answer and Chris scoffed
“I did not ask you questions” Chris replied
Oh” Blake muttered in embarrassment
Minnie glared at Chris who ignored her
“I think I should leave now since you are home” Blake said
” Yeah you should! Chris answered immediately
“Shut up Chris!! Minnie shouted before facing Blake
“Thanks Blake for escorting me home, Minnie hugged him and Chris eyes grew wide in shock
“What the hell!! He shouted as they disengage
Minnie rolled her eyes
“Good night Minnie” Blake waved
“Good night Blake, she waved as well and Blake walked out of there..
Chris kept glaring at his back till he was out of sight…..
Minnie scoffed seeing his face
“You know too much of staring at someone can just make you blind” Minnie said walking away..
Chris followed her..
“I think I just ask a question,who is he? Chris said getting angry
“And I don’t want to answer you” Minnie replied not looking back as she continues walking
“You will have to answer,who is that guy? Chris asked and hold her hand stopping her from walking
“Let go of my hand Chris! I may be living in your house it doesn’t mean you can control me,stop behaving like an idi®t ” Minnie glared before jerking off her hand from him and left for her room…
Chris stood perplexed by her reaction,
“Is she still angry about earlier”? He thought ruffling his hair…
Just then Mr Desmond walked in looking stressed out.
“Am back! He said slumping down on the couch,
Getting no response,he look up and was surprised to see Chris in deep thought.
Chris! Chris! He called but no response from Chris
He walked to where Chris and tapped his shoulder,
Chris flinched in fear but breath out in relief as he saw that it was Desmond
“Dad you are back!” He said simply
“Chris are you okay, you seems to be thinking about something”
“Am fine Dad,I just got a big shocker of my life” Chris replied
” Shocker? What shocker?
“Minnie confessed her love for me today! Chris said only for him to be $lapped
“Dad! He called in suprise
” Why are you calling me?”
” What did I do that made you to slap me? He asked
“It’s for you to wake up from your dream” son do you need doctor? Mr Desmond asked with concern
” Doctor for what? Dad am telling the truth”
“Shut up Chris! Oh God what’s my sin, little devil has just started living with us today and my son has already gone Crazy, not only Crazy he is dreaming about something impossible ” Mr Desmond cried
” Dad it’s the truth” Minnie really confessed,,,_
“Enough Chris! It’s best you go back to sleep and stop saying rubbish., Mr Desmond snapped and walk away
“I think I made a mistake coming home tonight,I should have just Lodge at an hotel’ Mr Desmond mumbled walking to his room…
