Episode 08
Aliyah’s Pov:
I yawned tiredly as I opened my weak eyes slowly.
I looked around in astonishment.
“Where am I?” I asked no one in particular as I sat up on the bed.
And the dress I was wearing is actually a big dress.
I jerked up from the bed yanking the duvet off my body.
I looked around the room still shocked and dumbfounded.
The door swinged open and my heart skipped a beat.
Arthur walked in with a tray of cereal meal and a glass of milkshake.
“Arthur??? How did I get….?” I wanted to say.
“I brought you here last night” He said as he sat next to me on the bed.
I exhaled sharply as I sat on the bed too.
“Breakfast…. It’s bad to starve in your condition” Arthur patted my hair.
“Where is this Arthur?” I asked with a gloomy face.
“Actually this isn’t my family’s main mansion…. This is one of my family’s guest house” He replied.
“Arthur what do we do? The fact that it’s growing in me everyday by day makes me feel like am losing my breath” I cried out.
“But it’s nothing for you to worry yourself about” He said as I wrinkled my eyebrows.
“It’s nothing? Are you being serious? For goodness sake my father is going to murder me Arthur” I cried.
“You have absolutely nothing to worry about Aliyah…. Am ready,,, am so ready to take up the responsibility” He said as I gasped.
“What?” My eyes almost popped out of it’s socket.
“Yes Aliyah… As a matter of fact I will be introducing you to my family this weekend” He replied.
I covered my mouth with my palms.
“But Arthur what about school?” I freaked out.
“That wouldn’t hinder both of us from furthering and I don’t want you to think of terminating the pregnancy” He boldly said.
“But Arthur…..” I opened my mouth to say.
“No buts Aliyah! You won’t harm my child” He said as I nodded my head.

Natasha’s Pov:
I got down from my car and walked into the magnificent mansion.
“Good morning ma’am” the maids greeted me with a slight bow but I walked away ignoring them.
I fling open the door and catwalked into the house.
Then I saw Arthur’s mom sitting at the dinning table and sipping slowly her cup of hot chocolate.
“Hi Aunt…. Good morning” I walked closer to her and pecked her cheeks.
“Oh good morning darling…. How are you doing Tasha?” She asked.
“Am doing good aunt! Where is Arthur?” I asked anxiously as she stared at me in confusion.
“Arthur? Didn’t he come over to your place?” She questioned as I shook my head.
“My place? Of course not aunt” I replied sharply.
“What? But he told me that he was going to your place” She said as she wiped her mouth with serviette.
I scoffed in disbelief.
We were still discussing when Arthur walked in with his car keys in his hand.
“Arthur?” I called out as I walked towards him.
“Oh Nat…. How are you doing?” He asked rather unwillingly.
“Where are you coming from?” I asked as he rolled his eyes at me.
“Good morning Mom” He greeted his mom.
“Morning son… Where did you go to? I thought you said you were at Nat’s?” Mrs Rodriguez asked him.
“It’s a long story mom…. I just want to go freshen up” He breathed heavily.
“Aren’t we going to the mall anymore? Have you forgotten that we actually scheduled for shopping today?” I feigned anger.
“You were the one who scheduled for shopping not us…. So please you know your way to the mall so you can go ahead” He said.
Before I could say another word,,,, he already walked upstairs.
“Weird!” I mumbled.

Mrs Roselyn’s Pov:
“Baby please just come home already” I cried out with the cell phone on my ear.
“You don’t have to worry about me…. Am perfectly fine” She assured me.
“Aliyah what about school? You’ve been absent from school for such a long time” I worried.
“Don’t worry mom! This weekend I will be coming with the father of my child” Aliyah replied.
“You are the one important to me…. I don’t care if you are pregnant or not” I wept.
“Mom you know how heartless dad can be don’t you? I don’t want to be treated like trash by my own biological father” She burst into tears.
“Am the one you should consider here baby…. Don’t think about him just think of me,,, how will survive this” I sniffed.
“Mom am in good hands as a matter of fact am not lacking anything so I don’t want you to develop sickness while thinking of me” She said as I nodded.
“Please do take good care of yourself for mom ok” I said.
“Of course mom!” She replied.
“Alright then child… I have to go now and please don’t switch your cell phone off so that I can be able to contact you” I pleaded.
“Ok mom…. Good bye” She said before hanging up.
I pecked the cell phone and felt so much relief.
Am happy that she’s doing alright.

WEEKEND
Arthur’s Pov:
She fitted her legs into the shoes as I smiled broadly at her.
“You look absolutely beautiful and there is no doubt that my parents are going to love you” I said as she let out once again her most beautiful smile.
“Are you sure Arthur?” She asked as I nodded.
“Of course who wouldn’t love you Aliyah? You are simply more than lovable” I said as she blushed.
“Oh please stop flattering me” She chuckled.
“Am not…. I don’t know how you will take this,,,, but the truth is that I love the fact that you got pregnant for me” I said as she wrinkled her eyebrows.
“Why?” She snapped.
“Because I fell in love with you that I was thinking how I would meet you again” I said as she hit me playfully.
“Let’s get going” She laughed.
“Easy don’t hurt her…. I mean my baby girl” I said as she pouted her mouth.
“It’s a he ok” she shouted as we walked out of the apartment.

I pulled over at the garage as I opened the car door for her and she got down.
She breathed heavily in anxiety.
“Am right here with you” I whispered into her ear as I held her hand and we walked into the house.
My dad Mr Rodriguez was sitting at the sitting room with a newspaper and my mom was busy watching her favorite TV show.
We greeted them and they answered still looking at nervous Aliyah.
“Uhmm dad this is my girlfriend and the mother of my baby Aliyah Dela Cruz” I said as my dad took off his eyeglasses.
“Aliyah Dela Cruz?” Dad repeated.
“I don’t understand you Arthur” mom looked at me confused.
“Are you Minister Gregory Dela Cruz’s daughter?” Dad asked anxiously.
“Uhmm…. Yes sir!” Aliyah replied.
“NEVER ARTHUR” Dad flared up to our surprise……..
