Aliyah’s Pov:
It was getting really dark and I had no place to lay my head neither do I have anyone to go to.
I yawned tiredly as I walked to the shop beside me.
I was super hungry and I needed something to eat at least.
“Uhhmmm good evening ma’am! Can i get a loaf of bread and butter?” I said calmly as the lady nodded her head.
“Of course lady!” The old lady said as she handed a loaf of bread to me.
I gave her some money for the bread as I tore it hungrily and ate.
I was so famished and I ate hungrily not minding if the old lady was looking at me.
“You have to calm down so that you won’t choke” She smiled as I smiled back.
“Am sorry ma’am but I am so hungry that’s why” I forced a smile at her.
“I see….” She nodded her head.
“Errrr…. Ma’am please do you know if I can get any vacant room for rent anywhere around here?” I asked anxiously as she furrowed her eyebrows.
“Why? Do you need a house?” She asked as I nodded my head.
“Yes ma’am… Actually am very stranded and I have nowhere to lay my head” I replied with a teary voice.
“Oh stop crying dear…. You shouldn’t cry now” She said pitifully.
“Please help me out ma’am…. I will pay for the room” I cried out.
“Well you see my sister who lives not far from here and has a house actually has a room for rent” She said as I almost jumped.
“Really ma’am… Please help me get to her” I said as she nodded her head.
“Sure thing!” She replied.

Mrs Roselyn’s Pov:
I sat on the couch at the corridor sulking as usual.
Ever since my daughter left the house,,, sulking have become my usual thing to do.
The only child I have….
My womb opener….
My first and last child and daughter.
Isn’t Gregory so heartless?
Isn’t he a mon$ter?
I wish I had left the house together with my child that day.
I can’t stand Gregory at least not after what he did to our only child.
How could he even do that to his only daughter?
Worst still I have tried calling her but her number was switched off.
It’s been four days since she left this house and I haven’t heard from her since then.
Who knows what my daughter is going through?
Gregory even had to freeze her account so that she would be penniless.
Isn’t this the worst father in the world?
“Aunt Rose?” I heard a familiar voice from behind and turned around.
It was my daughter’s best friend Pearl.
“Pearl dear” I called out as she rushed to me and kssed her cheeks.
I quickly wiped off my tears.
“Aunt Rose are you crying?” She asked anxiously as I sniffed hard.
“Of course not dear am not crying” I lied as I feigned smile.
“No aunt…. Where is my friend? I’ve been trying to contact her but her number is not connecting” She asked sitting right beside me.
Tears circulated in my eyes and rolled down my face.
It couldn’t even let me speak.
Pearl became so restless and confused.
“Aunt what happened to my best friend?” She asked worriedly.
“She…. She.. she left the house” I stuttered in tears as Pearl popped her eyes out in shock.
“She what? In her condition?” She screamed.
“Her father threw her out of the house” I managed to say.
Pearl gasped in shock with her palms covering her mouth.

Arthur’s Pov:
In just a day without seeing Aliyah,,,, I became so miserable.
Who knows what is going on with her now?
I have been indoor all day and I even told the securities not to let Natasha into the mansion again.
There was a knock on my door.
“Come in” I managed to say with my eyes still fixed on the wall.
“Sir… Your dinner is here” The maid placed the food on the stool beside my bed and turned to leave.
“Hey… Take that away am not hungry” I sharply replied.
“Huh? But sir you haven’t eaten anything since today” She gasped.
“I said take that away” I almost screamed as she quickly carried the food and hurried downstairs.
How do I eat when I can’t even have peace of mind?
Another knock came on my door and this time I didn’t reply.
The door creaked open and my mom walked in with the tray of food.
“What the he.ll is wrong with you Arthur? Do you want to starve yourself to death?” She shouted placing the tray on the stool.
“Am not hungry mom please don’t just start” I managed to say after about ten minutes of silence.
“What do you mean by you are not hungry? You haven’t eaten anything since today? She’s not worth this whole thing son” Mom replied as I flared up.
“Really? The mother of my child is not worth it? You know mom if you came to upset me please don’t….” I screamed as I rushed out of the room slamming the door.
“Bullsht” I mumbled as I kicked the flower vase.

Aliyah’s Pov:
“Follow me young lady” the grumpy elderly lady said as she wrapped the money I have her.
I quickly followed her as she walked to one of the locked rooms and opened it.
“Here… This is the only vacant room here ,,, there is a toilet and bathroom with a kitchen inside it but the tap in it is actually broken but I’ll fix it first thing tomorrow morning” She assured as I walked in with my luggage.
“This is nice… Thank you ma’am” I smiled at her.
“Whatever I just want you to know that I won’t condone any form of late home coming cos I will lock you out there” She grumpily said as I nodded.
“Sure ma’am” I said as she handed the keys to me and walked away.
I slammed the door as I walked around the not too big room.
The bed is actually not big but I can manage and there is a drawer right beside the bed.
It was an old drawer and dusty as well.
There was also a ceiling fan in the room.
I walked towards the toilet…. It was dusty but cool.
And the kitchen too.
I managed to sit on the bench as I inhaled deeply.
“Here we will start a new life my dear child” I rubbed my tummy as I smiled broadly………
