Arthur’s Pov:
“What are you saying Arthur? You think am just making this pregnancy stuff up” Natasha burst into tears.
“You heard me Natasha and I have no plans of speaking again…. I don’t believe you” I shouted at her as she sniffed hard.
“But Arthur am not making up stories…. Am really pregnant and there is nothing to lie about” She convincingly said.
“Please…. Just please don’t force me to push you away right now” I freaked out.
“What has come over you Arthur? Why would I even lie about our baby? I am pregnant Arthur and you are the father” She replied.
“I need you to undergo a pregnancy test before I can agree to your so called nonsense” I concluded.
“I can’t believe you are doubting me the fact that am carrying your child in my womb” She cried the more.
“If you are not going to undergo a pregnancy test then forget it cos I will never believe that you are pregnant” I said with a finality tone.
“Fine….I will undergo the pregnancy test so that you will know that I am not lying about our baby in me” She agreed.
“Good!” I snapped.
“So should I follow you to hospital now?” She asked anxiously.
“Nope…. It’s a home pregnancy test…. I’ll be stepping out to get four pregnancy test strips” I said.
“Huh? But….” She tried to speak.
“You won’t tell me what to do and how to do it” I interrupted her before walking out.
She gulped hard as she sat heavily on the couch and picked her phone and started pressing it.

FEW MINUTES LATER…..
I got back home with the pregnancy test strips.
She got into the bathroom and I gave her the strips to check if she is really preg.nant.
I waited impatiently as she later got out of the bathroom with the strips.
They were all positive and I couldn’t say a word.
I turned my face away.
“So you see I wasn’t making it up” She snapped.
I was so disappointed cos I was hoping for a negative result.
So this wedding will be going on at last.

I stood in front of the church with the priest as I watched Natasha walked majestically to the aisle.
The crowd kept cheering but deep down in me,,,, my anger and sadness knows no bounds.
I sighed loudly as I turned my face away.
Am only doing this because I have no choice and I have no clue where Aliyah could be.
Apart from that,,,, Natasha is carrying my baby too.
We walked to the aisle together but I couldn’t even bear her sight at all.
We exchanged marital vows even if I was hesitant in doing that but I still did though.
She slipped the ring into my finger and vice versa.
I didn’t even kss her,,, I just peck her cheeks unwillingly.
Worst day ever.

Mrs Roselyn’s Pov:
I was busy with some documents at the sitting room.
Actually I have learnt to stay the heck away from that crazy husband of mine.
Pearl rushed in panting heavily with a newspaper in her hand.
“Aunt Roselyn! Aunt Roselyn!!” she called breathlessly.
“Pearl dear what happened?” I quickly turned to her as she handed the newspaper to me since the panting couldn’t let her say a word.
I quickly took the newspaper from her.
What could be so important?
I flipped the pages of the newspaper until I got to the other page…
“Senator Rodriguez’s only son Arthur Rodriguez got married to his beloved childhood sweetheart Natasha Benson” I read.
“Isn’t he supposed to be married to Aliyah?” Pearl snapped into my thoughts.
I nodded my head immediately…..
“But he is getting married to a different person so where is Aliyah?” Pearl breathlessly yelped.
I gasped in shock as I passed out.

Aliyah’s Pov:
I packed the baby and I stuff inside the bag since we have already been discharged from the hospital.
Mr Leo as he introduced himself was carrying my baby who was kicking her little legs and sucking her folded left hand like her life depends on it.
Smiles escape my lips.
I can’t believe am a mother now.
I had everything packed up and the kind Leo volunteered to take us both home.
“You have a big responsibility waiting for you here Aliyah?” He teased me as I chuckled.
“I know Sir” I mumbled.
“You can call me Leo and not Sir” He politely said as I nodded.
He drove us straight to the apartment and I got down as he walked me in carrying the bag while I carried my baby Arya.
Now motherhood begins in earnest…….
