Episode 19
Aliyah’s Pov:
It was early morning again and the cock crowed.
I tossed around from one side of the bed to another.
Actually I didn’t even get a good night sleep since little Arya didn’t let me sleep.
She kept crying that I could tell when it was 1am,,, 2am to 4am.
Being a mother is really not as easy as it sounds.
Thank goodness am off work so I can get enough sleep but that’s only for two weeks then I can resume work at the flower shop.
I was lying on the bed when the door bell rang aloud noisily.
“Argh…. Who could that be?” I grumbled as I managed to drag myself up from the bed.
I walked straight to the door and throw the door open.
“Good morning!” The delivery man greeted as I yawned tiredly.
“Good morning…. How may I help you?” I asked anxiously.
“Well ma’am our agency was sent to give this to you” He said as he handed a big heavy box to me.
“To me? Are you sure you are in the right house?” I raised my eyebrows.
“Yes ma’am” He answered.
“Am not sure Mr delivery man cos I don’t remember asking for any parcel from anyone or anyone telling me of sending a parcel to me” I snapped.
“Isn’t this the fourth floor?” He asked as I nodded my head.
“Yes it is…” I said.
“Then that parcel is really for you ma’am…. Please sign these papers” He handed them to me and I signed before he went away.
Parcel?
This is second time am receiving an unknown parcel.
But this time around,,, the box is bigger.
I managed to get the box into the house as I quickly opened it.
I gasped in shock.
There were lots and lots of groceries in the box and I was short of words.
Who could be this kind to give me such things?
I kept wondering!

“Are you being serious Aliyah?” My friend Dora asked as she was marvelled.
“Honestly Dora am confused myself cos I don’t think there is anyone who would do something as nice as this for me” I worried.
“Why do you look so worried girl? You should be happy” She laughed.
“But I am and I really want to know who is behind this so that I can thank the person properly” I replied.
“So how is my baby girl?” She asked as I pointed at the bed.
“She’s right there sleeping after causing me sleepless night last night” I mumbled as we shared a laugh.

Natasha’s Pov;
“Mom am so tired…. I am freaking tired of this kind of marriage” I cried in Arthur’s mother’s shoulder.
“You shouldn’t say that Tasha! You know you have to exercise patience before Arthur comes around” She stroke my back softly.
“I have been doing that aunt and it seems to prove so abortive! He doesn’t even stay at home…. I am here all alone in this big mansion” I cried out.
“But you said you wanted Arthur and you to be given a new mansion away from ours and I persuaded his father to” She replied.
“I want that aunt so that we can have our private times but aunt it’s getting out of hand…. As we speak,,, he left since morning and look at the time it’s past 9pm and he is not yet home” I wailed.
“I know this painful but my dear am sure Arthur will see the truth that Aliyah is gone for good…..He will surely come around” She assured me.
“But when aunt? When will I stop feeling like I married myself? Like am the only one in this?” I continued sobbing.
“You know crying is not healthy for your condition so you stop crying so that you won’t hurt your baby” She advised.
“I know aunt but this is unbearable for me” I wept..
“If I were you then I will save my marriage” She said as I wiped off my tears.
She’s right!
I should save my marriage.

Arthur’s mother left and Arthur was not yet back.
I paced around the sitting room wallowing in my thoughts.
Her words didn’t stop ringing in my ears *If I were you then I will save my marriage*
It’s high time I make Arthur love me.
The reason why he married me is because of the child in my womb right?
Which means that he loves the child?
Well am going to use that against him to maje him start caring for me.
Smiles escape my lips as I walked upstairs.

Arthur’s Pov:
I drove into the huge compound and parked my car at the garage.
It was almost past 12am when I walked into the house.
I just hope that pest have gone to bed cos I don’t want to see her or see her pathetic tears.
Everything about her sucks!
The whole house was quiet so I assumed she is fast asleep.
I walked upstairs with the portfolio in my hand.
I grabbed the door handle and walked into the room.
What I saw made me gasp in shock.
I saw her lying lifelessly on the ground with a glass of water and some pills on the ground.
Foam were coming out of her mouth.
My heart skipped a beat.
I quickly rushed to her dropping my portfolio.
I saw some bIood stains on her nightie.
The drugs are actually abortion pills mixed with some harmful pills too.
I shook her virgrously but she already passed out.
“Natasha? Natasha??” I called her as I quickly carried her and rushed out of the room……
