Aliyah’s Pov:
I became shocked to the bone marrows…..
Did she just say those words to me?
Did I hear her right?
Arya has never raised her voice on me but today she shouted so hard at me.
“Arya?” Was all I managed to say.
Hot tears circulated in my eyes and gradually dropped down my ears.
If only she knows how this will affect us….
She doesn’t get it that is why she’s behaving this way.
We were so happy together and I don’t want him to get into the picture cos he will end up spoiling things for us.
“Mommy please you can go to any part of the world that you want but please don’t involve me” She burst into tears still inside the room.
“Arya we have to leave…. Am doing all this for your own good my dear” I tried to sound so calm.
“What good mommy? Fine…. I want to be in a bad state so don’t worry about me” She shouted.
“Arya am your mother and you should….” I was tired of sounding nice so I raised my voice at her.
“Am your daughter mommy and you should as well consider my feelings” She cried out.
“Open the door Arya and get the hell out of there” I said.
“I don’t want to…. I do not fvcking want to leave Capetown” She cried again.
“But baby we have to for our safety” I tried to convince her.
“I just told you my decision mommy you can leave…. Forget about me! I don’t want to be safe” She cut in sharply.
What do I do now?
I fell on my buttocks sitting right beside the door.
I can’t possibly leave Capetown without my daughter.
No one can ever talk me into doing something like that.

Natasha’s Pov:
My eyes were so swollen from crying cos I’ve been crying my eyes out.
And my left cheek had the print of his five fingers.
“Oh my gosh girlfriend…. He almost sIapped you blind” Brenda said as I groaned in pains.
“My head is aching so badly and I don’t think I can take this” I managed to say.
Tears rolled down my face.
“You should have left him when he told you to” Brenda blamed me.
“Brenda I beg of you please don’t just bring up your blames ok” I sighed.
“I wonder what on earth made him so annoyed that he raised his hand on you for the very first time” Brenda said as she placed the towel which had ice in it on my head..
“Thanks” I said as I took the towel from her.
“This is really inhumane” She lamented.
“I don’t know what happened to him Brenda…. I know Arthur doesn’t love me and I agree to that but he has never raised his hands on me” I cried.
“I know right… This is a disaster” Brenda shook her head.
“I can’t even feel my head” I continued sobbing.
“Sobbing will do you no good…. It will only add up to your migraine” Brenda said with concern.
“I don’t know what to think anymore!” I continued.
“You know what? I think maybe your husband is seeing another woman” Brenda said with a whisper as she spoke so quietly.
My eyes widened in shock.
“What?” I managed to say as I felt my head spinning around.
Is she saying the truth?
Is my husband really seeing another woman?
What else would be his reasons for slapping me?
“Well yes…. What else could be his reasons if not that he is seeing another woman?” Brenda said.
“Are you saying he is seeing another woman? I mean….” I stammered.
“That’s what I think my dear” Brenda said as my jaw dropped.
Just then,,,,, Patrick walked downstairs with a football on his arm.
He walked past us without even greeting.
“Hey…. Are you blind?” Brenda shouted at him as he glared hard at her.
“You are the blind one” He barked at her to her surprise.
“Patrick? Didn’t you see us here? Can’t you greet?” I managed to say.
“If I were you mom then I would be focused in getting that wound of yours treated than screaming so hard and causing me an ear ache” He sounded so disrespectful.
I gulped hard as I turned my gaze to shocked Brenda.
“Did he just say that to me?” Brenda asked out loud.
“I see…. You are not only blind but deaf as well” Patrick said again with a grin before walking away.
Shame filled my face as I bowed my head.
Brenda turned to me in shock with her mouth already opened.

Patrick’s Pov;
“Those annoying old ladies” I muttered under my breath.
Even that mother of mine still has the guts to talk after that beast of a man he calls my father beat her up.
I feel sorry for her but I can’t let her notice it.
She should have spoken to her husband to let me run my gambling house like I wanted it.
But no….
She supported her husband that I should go to school even if it was against my wish.
This is really so annoying….
I just want to cool my head off.
And I can not wait for this God forsaken weekend to be over so that I can at least go to school.
It’s a bit fun there but it’s not money making.
I walked to the garden to play the football.
Am tired of sleeping all day.
Gosh ….
Annoying!
Leo’s Pov:
“What the he.ll is going on in that head of yours Aliyah?” I shouted at her.
“Leo you don’t understand me…I want Arya and I to leave Capetown” She cried.
“This isn’t good for the child… come to think of it this is really affecting the child” I answered.
“But am only doing this for her own good cos I don’t want anyone to take her away from me” Aliyah continued.
“I know but then no one is going to do that! Am sure Arya loves you so much and she won’t leave you no matter what happens” I said…
“I don’t just want to have anything to do with Arthur… I don’t want him to ever find us! I don’t want him to come any close to my daughter” She lamented.
“That doesn’t change anything Aliyah! So what’s better? Is it better than Arya locked herself up in that room since yesterday? She haven’t even had any meal….. What is so bad if he sees her,,,,, Afterall he is still her father or is he not?” I threw the question at her.
“NO!” She screamed so loud to my amazement.
“What?” I looked at her confused.
“She’s not his daughter…. Arya’s father is long dead” she snapped blinking rapidly to stop tears of course.
“Tell me the truth Aliyah” I walked straight to her staring into her green eyes.
“What truth?” She asked.
“DO YOU STILL LOVE ARTHUR?” I threw the question at her as she choked…..
