Kim’s Pov:
I walked in with so much pride as my friends followed me.
“It feels so good to be back to the school afterall” I smirked at them.
They reciprocated with a smile and nodded their heads.
“You have to take back your rule as the only famous girl in school with the best boyfriend.. the school’s knight in shining armor” Olivia giggled.
“Of course! Every leading lady needs a leading man” Anita supported me and we shared a laugh.
We were walking into our usual spot when three of the students rushed to me.
“Hey Kim!” She called out as I turned around glaring at her with fierce eyes.
“What do you want losers?’ I asked with a hoarse voice.
“You didn’t tell everyone that you and our handsome Martin is no longer together” They laughed out loud.
I furrowed my eyebrows and scratched my head.
“What are you talking about?” I furrowed my eyebrows.
“You don’t know what am talking about? You should have told us that you and Martin are no longer together” They chorused laughing.
“Hey! How dare you speak to our friend in such a manner… Have you gone mad?” Olivia yelled at them.
“I don’t know why you are getting scared Kim! Are we really lying and mistaking?” They exchanged glances at each other.
“Tell me what makes you think that Martin and I have broken up?” I smirked at them.
“Isn’t it obvious how Martin was looking all over for the Arya girl today?” They laughed aloud.
“Arya?” I widened my eyes in shock.
“Oh yes Arya! Don’t you know her? Martin has been looking for her and as we speak they are together at the library..” They said.
“How sweet! They are all over each other like gummy bear” they said again and continue laughing.
I felt like I was going crazy with what they just told me.
“Are.. are.. are they saying that Martin and.. and the.. the new girl are…” I couldn’t help but stutter as I burst into tears immediately.
“Get a grip of yourself girlfriend! You shouldn’t be crying! Who knows they might be lying.. let’s go to the library and see things for ourselves” Anita patted my hair.
“I just hope what they are saying is not true cos if it is then I won’t spare that Arya of a girl” I said in tears as we quickly rushed to library.

Arya’s Pov:
Sofia and I walked to the library when suddenly we heard voices from behind and turned around.
It was Martin and his friend Idris running towards us.
“Arya! I didn’t know you are in school today” Martin smiled broadly at me as he hugged me tightly.
“Ohhh… Martin hi” I managed to say surprised that he was looking for me.
They continued staring at us since we didn’t know what to say to each other.
It was becoming pretty embarrassing so i had to speak up.
“By the way we are heading straight to the library… So catch you guys later!” I said trying to dismiss them.
“We are actually going to the library too to study so let’s just go together” Martin sharply answered.
“What? Why would you go with us?” I snapped.
“Oh come on Arya! They also want to go to the library so why would you ask them such questions” Sofia nudged me as I gulped hard.
“Alright then guys let’s go ahead!” I said as we all walked into the library.
I tried as much as I can so that I won’t look at Martin so my eyes was fixed on the book I was holding though I wasn’t reading.
“What is this guy doing? Acting so nice and kind?” I thought inwardly but I shrugged the thought off.
Though I wasn’t even reading I still fixed my eyes on the book like I was reading it.
“Uhmm Martin! Are you reading?” Idris suddenly asked Martin who was also holding a book.
“What kind of question is that? Can’t you see the book in my hand? Why can’t you be less noisy and let us all read our books in peace” Martin scoffed.
“Are you really reading with the book upside down?” Idris laughed as we all turned to Martin giggling.
All these while he has been acting reading a book that was upside down.
“That’s so funny” Sofia and I laughed aloud.
Martin only chuckled and turned his face away shyly.
“What’s goin on here?” A voice said from behind as we all turned around.
It was Kim.
Sofia quickly grabbed my hand and we held each other tightly.
“Oh Kim.. you startled us” Martin spoke up as Kim who was in tears eyed him angrily.
“What’s the meaning of this?’ Kim asked staring at me with so much hatred.
“What’s the meaning of what? What are you talking about?” Idris arched his eyebrows.
“Hey veggie! I wasn’t talking or speaking to you so I don’t expect you to open your loud mouth and speak to me” Kim said rudely to Idris.
I wanted to speak but I managed to hold myself back.
“What? What did you just call me?” Idrks got so annoyed.
“I don’t repeat myself and am sure you heard exactly what I called you” Kim said again.
“What is the meaning of this Kim? Why are you speaking to my friend in such a manner?” Martin spoke up.
“Tell me Martin! What is this?” She pointed at Sofia and I as I scoffed.
“Calm down Arya” Sofia whispered into my ears knowing I wanted to confront her.
“Who are you referring to as what?”Martin sneered.
“You heard me Martin! So it’s true that you have been hanging out with this things?” Kim groaned.
“I won’t correct you again Kim! You dare not refer to my friends as thing cos I won’t be so nice next time” Martin said.
“Martin I am saying that…” she tried to speak.
“Let’s go guys!” Martin said as they all walked away leaving Kim and her friends.
“Did Martin just speak back at me?” Kim couldn’t believe her ears….
