CADE POV
“Where are you Emily?”I muttered as I kept on driving around town in full speed.
Where did she go to? It’s so unlike her to do this.
Could it be because of what I said to her a while ago? Is she trying to get back at me by disappearing in this manner? I thought as I kept on driving my car.
Just then I got a call and it was from one of the guard
“Any info?”I asked as I answered
“None yet sir, we have been searching for a while now but nothing” he said
“Keep on searching until you find her “I said and cut the call.
Father is right, even if Emily leaves, I can’t be guaranteed of her safety.
Even with the guards I have guarding the house, she is still not safe,i thought as I kept on driving.
Just then I saw a car parked not so far away and there was a man struggling with a woman.
A woman who I knew so well, I thought as I park the car and got out quickly, heading for the man pulling Emily.
I gave him two punch making him fall on the ground.
He stood up and he knew that he was no match for me.
Quickly he got into the car with his friends and they drove off.
I held Emily in my arms while she clung onto me,sobbing softly.
“It’s okay, am here now, am here” I said as I pulled her close to me.
“I was so……scared”she whispered softly
“It’s okay, am here”I muttered back and she stopped crying,she wasn’t moving either,I thought as I held her close only to feel some thing wet.
I stared at it only to see that it was her blood, I pulled her back and saw that she was Unconscious.
“Emily! My love!”I called as I carried her in my arms and took her to the car.

SILAS POV
“We are sorry sir but we failed to bring her”the two idiots I had hired said
“What? I paid you just to take that girl to where I wanted you to take her, why the hell did you fail to so”I yelled at them
“Well we got her and was about to put her In the car when her husband arrived, I even two punches from him, my cheek is still throbbing from it”He said
“You deserve more than that, ever since my son kidnapped her ,she has been under protection and now that she left the house with out telling any one was our only chance to get her but you dummies had to ruin it!!”I yelled at them
“We are sorry sir but we did our best” one of them replied
“You call this your best!is this really your best you nit wit” I yelled
“We are sorry sir, we will try to rectify our mistakes”They said
“Just do it as soon as you can,I want no more mistakes”I said and they left the room.
I looked at the time and saw that it was the time David always call, quickly I went to the phone and as soon as I sat down,the phone rang
“How is it father? Did you manage to take her”He asked
“Well…….”I began softly
“Dont tell me you failed!”he said
“Well the fools I sent were the one who failed”I said quickly
“You know how much it cost me to call you every day just to get this plan going but you failed me?”he asked
“They will make it right David, they will take her and get her to where you told me of”I said
“I can’t put my hope on you again, now I will do my own way, I told you right! If you don’t want me to keep on doing bad things give me what I want”
“Emily is the only thing I want and yet you failed in bringing her, so then watch me do it my way this time”he said and before I could stop him, he cut the call.
This is getting out of hand, even when he is jail, he still wants Emily.
Just a few days ago, he had told me he had a way of getting out of jail.
Some couple of jail friends he had met were planning to escape and he chose to escape with them.
He is only going to leave if Emily leaves with him.
I had told him that it was a Lost call but he insisted on taking Emily with him.
I couldn’t let my son rot in jail most especially now that he got a way to escape, so I had agreed but all of it failed and he is going to do things by himself and only God knows what David is thinking of right now,I thought.

CADE POV
“Don’t you think we should take her to the hospital, the doctor have been in the room with her for a while now, can we really trust the doctor?” Emily mother asked as we all stood In front of the room waiting for the doctor that had been called earlier to come of the room.
“This is the only way I know that she can be protected, I don’t want the same thing that happened at the hospital to happen again”I said as I pace about
“So you think by having the doctor check on her at the house will be okay?”she yelled starring at me
“Yes it’s the right decision to make”I said softly
“Am her mother and I think your decision is not a good one,get her to the hospital right now!”she yelled at me
“And am her husband!!! I have a right over her too and I won’t let you step on it, I might have ruined her life in the past but the past is now in the past,let’s keep it that way”I yelled totally losing my cool
“He is right Mrs Wilburn,Cade has suffered enough for what happen to Emily, let’s just leave the past where it belongs and focus on the future”My father said as he walked towards me
“I can’t believe this”Emily mom muttered and went to stand at the other side of the hall
“How is she?”he asked softly
“The doctor is still in there, I just hope it doesn’t get more worse”I muttered
“It wouldn’t, Emily have survived many deaths, this is nothing for her”He said as he Pat my shoulders
“Have they gotten any lead on those men?”I asked
“Seems like they just disappeared, you don’t know why they were trying to take Emily with them right?” He asked
“No father, if David or mom were not in jail, I would have made them a suspect but since they are both in jail, I don’t know who is after Emily this time “I said
“Don’t worry son, i will get to the bottom of this “he said
“Thanks dad”I replied quickly.
As soon as Micheal and Gracie arrived,the doctor came out of the room.
“What happen doctor?”I asked
“Your wife is doing fine now, her woundgot opened due to her walking for a long time, I told you that she hasnt recovered fully yet and that she needs a lot of rest”The doctor said reprimanding me
“I know that and am sorry but will she be okay now?”I asked
“Yes she will and have prepared some drugs for her to use, just give it to her before she sleeps every night”he said
“Can we see her?”I asked
“Yes you can”he said and quickly I went in before her mom gets in before me
She was laying on the bed looking so fragile, how can one be this fragile.
I thought as I went towards her and sat on the empty seat beside the bed
I held her hand and pecked it softly, what was I thinking when I decided to send her away, i can’t live with out her and she certainly can’t live with out me.
Hee safety is my hands now, who ever is trying to cause her harm this time will surely regret it
I won’t sit back and watch her get harmed again, I just won’t do that! I thought as I called the agency for more security guards.
After getting everything in order, they have decided to bring in more guards to the house.
I was getting off the phone when I saw Emily starring at me
Quickly I went to her side and held her hand.
“Are you okay!” I asked
“Yes, what happened?”
“Some bastards tried to take you and it got your injury opened again, the doctor just stitch it back and you aren’t allowed to go out “i said kissing her hand softly
“I didn’t just go out just because I wanted to, I went out in search of Lucy”she said softly
“Why?”
“She is the only one who can tell me where my child is_ .
