IT’S OKAY TO CRY
Episode 23.
Anastasia went to the kitchen lost in thought holding her phone, as she saw the sum of money she is to pay,
“Hey! The food is burning! Dite walked in and shouted, and Anastasia returned back to her senses and turned off the gas.
She used her bare hands taking down the pot and Dite just folded her hands looking at her,
“Sorry about that, Anastasia said and Dite shook her head.
“What’s the problem? I mean what’s going on with you? Don’t you think its better to share than to burn the house Down ? Dite asked.
“Never mind okay, how was service today? She asked.
“Stop asking me that question since you’ve stopped going to church, so you think I shouldn’t know what’s bothering you right? Dite asked.
“Forget about it okay, is just a mood swing, Anastasia replied.
“Mood swing on phone? Dite asked and Anastasia rolled her eyes.
“Can you please go in there and change up so you can take the food to the kids? She asked.
“OK oo…. But what do you think about this pic, he’s handsome right? Dite asked and Anastasia looked at her, heaved and got the phone from her.
“Who is he? Dite you’ve start to be naughty right? Anastasia asked but she smiled.
“No nau, will your kids let me naughty? I met him on social media…… Anastasia hearing that handed over the phone to her with a different impression on her face that she disliked it.
“No no is not what you think, he’s a good guy truly, Dite said.
“On social media? Have you seen him before to know how good he is? Most of them are scammers and heart breakers, I’ll advise you to forget about him, Anastasia replied.
“Why are you judging him this quick? We still have good people on social media please and I feel it my heart that…….. “Listen to me Ditebogo! Forget about him, when you get to meet a guy face to face that will be better. Forget about scammers, Anastasia said.
“Do you know him? Dite insisted.
“Now get out! Anastasia shouted and she left immediately with a frown.
“Shit this guy is a fool! Anastasia whispered as she recognised the picture to be Bobby when he was young.
Knowing Bobby has gotten to Dite made her more scared,
“That means he is aware of Mpho also. I’ll try how to pay the money and let him out of my life for ever, she said in her heart……………….
5 days are gone already and the money isn’t yet complete, she sat down angrily as she looked at the message Bobby sent to her.
“Honey your time is almost over and I haven’t heard from you, don’t dare me baby”, she read.
She took her phone and dialed his number,
“Hey, what’s up? Bobby voice came on phone lively.
“I have your d@mn money with me okay, now stop pestering me and let’s meet up, She said.
“Wow that was quick, alright tomorrow then by 5pm, he replied.
“Where exactly? She asked.
“At home baby where else? He asked and she dropped the call.
She left to the kitchen and took a sharp kn!fe looking at it, “and I’ll bury you at home ba$tard! She said and left with it……..
The next day was a Saturday, after doing the necessary chores at home, she left to Julia place, she held Palesa looking at her,
“Baby I keep moving from one problem to another all for you, because I want the best for you, please wish me luck with what I want to do. This is the only way I can avoid this my love, she said and kssed her as she was set to leave.
She checked the time and saw it was past three and she left the room to meet with Julia downstairs,
“OK you’re done, see ya on Monday bye, Julia said and Anastasia left to see Regina in the hospital.
“I’ll be gone soon, Regina told her.
“Yea I know, I’ll miss you, she replied and Regina smiled.
“Thanks for the visit, sorry I’ve stressed you too much, Regina said.
“Nah forget about it, Anastasia replied.
“I’ve noticed for a few days Now you don’t kook good, are you sure everything is fine? Regina asked and Anastasia nodded.
“Maybe am beginning to miss you, She replied but Regina smiled.
“Take care of Hope, she deserves the best, Regina said.
“And i am giving her that, Anastasia replied.
After a while she checked her time and saw it was 4:30pm.
“I have to go now dear, I am so tired, Anastasia said.
“Thats no problem, thanks again, Regina said and Anastasia left heading over to Bobby place.
She fixed the knife strong to the band of her skirt as she arrived and knocked on the door.
“Its past 5pm baby, Bobby answered inside and opened up.
“I’ve missed you, he said smiling at her when she got in.
“And you’re looking beautiful today, he added.
“Indeed, before I forget, what are you doing with Ditebogo? She asked.
“She’s a beautiful girl you know, so you think I shouldn’t have fun because you’ve broken up with me? Bobby asked.
“Oh i see, Anastasia said nodding.
“Good, now where is the money? he asked.
“I don’t have any money okay, so do your worst, She replied and Bobby looked at her for a while and burst out laughing.
“You really don’t know who I am right? He asked.
“Of course i do, you’re one dumb and useless ba$tard! She shouted and he sl@pped her.
“Wow thats a good one, is there more? She asked and watched him as he became more angry.
“So you had the guts to walk into my house to tell me you don’t have the money forgetting what i can do to you huh? He asked going closer to her as she kept going backwards.
“So what are you going to do to me? Kill me like you’ve been doing? She asked and weighed on the wall.
“I take pleasure doing that to useless beings like you! Now stop playing games with me and give me the money! He shouted and held her neck to strangle her while Anastasia struggled.
“I said i don’t have such amount of money, she said and carefully brought out the knife but he saw it.
“Btch! He shouted and sl@pped her which she fell on the ground and the knife fell off.
He pounced on her holding her neck again hard and she used her long nails on his face scratching him with it.
He shouted and let go of her and she saw where the knife fell to, she went to pick it up and Bobby saw it.
He fell on her and Anastasia fell on the knife, he raised her up with her hair but she picked the knife alongside with her without him knowing .
Before he could see it, she pierced it in his heart smiling looking at him as bl00d flowed out.
“I just gave you your fucken pay, she whispered in his ear and took the knife out and he fell with his eyes open.
She fell on the ground breathing hard as she was badly in pains. She saw some stains of bl00d on her and she staggered to his room to wash it off.
She arranged her hair back and adjusted herself as she earlier came in.
She was about going out of his room when she remembered he must have some money in his house, she searched through the cupboards and saw some cash, took it and returned to the sitting room and found him still lying in his pool of bl00d.
She took the knife beside him and cleaned the blood on his head, wrapped it in a nylon and put it in her bag and made sure there is nothing there anyone can trace her with.
“Goodbye Bobby, she said when she was done and left the house.
Getting home she ignored her daughters greeting and got into her room locking the door behind..
She just murdered someone for the first time, though to her it was necessary since he wanted frustrating her, but then knowing who he is, she became afraid.
“His phone, oh my God why did i forget that? Sht!! She shouted when she remembered that, knowing the cops or his friends can search through it.
With fear she removed her Sim card and destroyed it as she paced around scared to death……….
