Episode 26.
Julia came out later and apologized to Anastasia if she sounded harsh,
“Its okay Julia I wasn’t angry anyway. I also pushed it too far forgetting you’re her mother and you mean the best for her, its okay, Anastasia replied.
“You’re also her mother, I should have understood that you were only worried and concerned about her. But not to worry I promise you Palesa will be fine, Julia replied.
“I know she will, Anastasia replied.
“That reminds me, what about Regina? Julia asked.
“I met her on Friday and she’ll be discharged today. But since I don’t have her number anymore, I don’t know if she’s still in the hospital, Anastasia replied.
“Let’s go there then, I’ll go change up and we’ll ride there immediately, Julia said and left to her room while Anastasia rolled her eyes and changed Palesa dress.
Minutes later they arrived and met James coming out from her ward,
“Oh here they are, Regina has been asking about you two since morning, James said giving them a light hug.
“Really, but we are here. We actually thought we won’t meet you guys, Regina replied.
“We were just about leaving, please go in I’ll be back, James said and hurried away.
“Hello there, Anastasia said when they got in..
“Whats wrong with your phone Anastasia? Regina asked as she was backing them..
“Sorry o, I don’t know what’s wrong with my Sim card but I’ll get a new one, Anastasia replied and turned the wheel chair round.
“Wow you came? Regina asked seeing Julia.
“Yea and you’re looking more better, she replied.
“Please don’t say that again, hello my beautiful flower, just like her mother, Regina said touching Palesa and Julia smiled.
“So you’ll be leaving tomorrow for real? Anastasia asked.
“First thing tomorrow morning, Regina replied and Anastasia kept a sad face.
“Whats that face for? Regina asked.
“You mean I won’t see you again? Anastasia asked.
“Honestly I don’t know if I’ll ever come back here again. With what has happened to me, I hate to say that I dislike my country already and every memories here are all soured. This is something I will never forget and its best I leave, Regina replied.
“I agree with you, and it makes me more happy your kids are over there, you just did the right thing, Julia said and Anastasia looked at her and forced a smile.
“Yea I really thank God I sent them out, imagine if those guys met I and my kids at home, the story would have been horrible, Regina replied and Anastasia nodded.
“Okay okay, can we stop talking about this sending of kids abroad whatever because mine isn’t abroad yet, stop reminding me that, Anastasia said.
“That’s not the point, but anyway you two should take good care of yourself okay, Regina replied.
“We will and you too okay, if you want I can give you a visit over there in Dubai. I have a good friend of mine there, Julia said and Anastasia rolled her eyes.
“Yea can I write down the address for you? Regina asked and Julia searched through her bag and brought out a paper and biro for her.
“Thats where we stay over there, you are always welcome, Regina said giving it back to Julia.
“Thanks for that, Julia replied putting it in her bag and James walked in.
“OK ladies, are we good to go now? He asked.
“Yea yea, take care of your self okay, Am sure we won’t be able to see before you leave right? Anastasia asked.
“I don’t think so, but nevertheless thank you so so much for what you both have done, I really appreciate, Regina replied.
“Don’t mention, just take good care of yourself, Anastasia and Julia said giving her a hug and escorted her outside to the car as James wheeled her out.
“Thank you so much Mrs Mpho, your husband was here this morning, you two have been wonderful, James said.
“Please stop, let me think of how I will miss my friend first, Anastasia replied sadly.
“No please, we will still get in touch time to time. I’ll call your husband before we take off tomorrow, bye Julia, James said.
“Bye take care and have a safe flight tomorrow, Julia replied waving at them and Regina waved back.
On their way back home Anastasia began to cry and Julia heaved looking at her,
“Am sorry, but she was my vest friend and I’ll miss her, Anastasia said and Julia nodded.
‘I understand, please take a kerchief from my bag and clean your eyes, Don’t make Palesa cry also, Julia replied and Anastasia opened her bag and saw the address.
She took it along side with the kerchief pleased her little drama paid well, just as she wanted it……………..
Mpho leaving his office sighted the lady he slept with, he was shocked and angrily went to her as she stood smiling at him.
“I thought I told you to stay clear from me? What are you doing here? He sternly asked.
“Calm down Mr, I only wanted a friendly talk. Can we sit out? Don’t worry bills will be on me, she said.
“Hey i am married okay, he replied.
“I am not doubting that but its just a drink, or will you call your wife over to join us? She asked and he rubbed his head looking at her. “Fine, get into the car, he said.
“Thank you, she said and walked away from him to the car and that was when he saw her s*xy features clear as he shook his head and opened up the car and drove out.
While discussing with her, he came to like her kind of person as she speaks so intelligently and that got him.
“So why are you doing such a job? Mpho asked.
“Am no pr0$titute but just a str!pper. I don’t lay with guys anyway and that made my part of str!pping less interesting. I entertain the guys while the other girls takes the play, she replied.
“So in your str!pping job you don’t lay with men? He asked.
“Nah nah and my boss understands me, sometimes when a guy insist to have me, my boss speaks up for me, she replied.
“But why? Is there something i need to know? He asked and she sighs gulping down the wine.
“Well I’ve been sxually hara$$ed by my uncles…….. “Uncles? Mpho asked.
“That’s right uncles, since I was 16. They took turns on me as they want and that killed my desire for sx. Sx to me wasn’t for pleasure and i never enjoyed It because i hated it. When I ran away when one of them returned drunk with his fellow stupid friends, he held me and threw Me over to them. One of them ur!nated in my m0uth pressing his 0rgan h@rd in my m0uth to chock me to de@th. I fought with all my might and ended up breaking one of their head and ran away.
My friend and I left the town the next day and i began hawking stuffs to survive. But then i was held and r@ped by some street guys and dumped on the street. That was when i saw my boss, he picked me up and took me home. I began with selling the drinks and cigarettes at the club, but then they said i was too beautiful, so i advanced to be a str!pper, she narrated and Mpho folded his hand looking at her.
“why? You’re disappointed huh? She asked smiling taking out a cigarette but Mpho took it from her.
“Please I need that, telling you my past Now is making my heart heavy, I need to clear my head, she said.
“this won’t clear your head but make it worst. Why didn’t you report those ba$tards call uncles? Why did you endure all of that? Mpho asked and she laughed.
“Who is going to listen to you? And after reporting them who will take you in? At least i was going to school and i didn’t want to loose that. Okay enough of me, let’s talk about you, She said.
“Can i know your name please? Mpho asked.
“Yvonne and you’re Mpho, she replied smiling……………
