Hope woke up with her alarm ringing, in her sleepy eyes she stretched her hand to where the clock was and switched it off.
She sat down throwing her hair back and remembered its her birthday.
“Happy birthday Hope, she whispered and checked her phone to see a message from Evelyn her classmate,
“Happy birthday dear, live long and prosper, Hope read and smiled, dropped the phone and got up to freshen up.
She came down dressed for school to have her breakfast but got a surprise from Math,
“Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday my dear Hope,
Happy birthday to you,
Math sang holding a cake with candles,
“Dad, thank you, she said giving him a hug.
“You’re welcome, now make a wish, Math replied and Hope heaved and closed her eyes for few seconds, then blew off the candles.
“Thank you dad I didn’t expect this, Hope said.
“You didn’t want a party so I thought you should cut a cake, Math replied cutting a piece of the cake for her.
“Uhmmm delicious, Hope said.
“Yea I got it from the best bakery. I guess this will be your breakfast, Math said pouring a wine for her.
“Yes, can I please take a bit for my friends? Hope asked.
“Sure, just wrap it up the way you want, you know I don’t take much of this sweet things, Math replied getting up.
“Alright thank you, Hope said.
“And ermmm…. Don’t worry I’ll get a present for you when I get back from work. I have to hurry alright, Math said giving her a peck and went upstairs to get his brief case.
Hope arrived in school and got birthday wishes from her friends,
“Thank you, I got this for you, I know its little but I hope you understand, Hope said giving them the cake she packaged.
“Don’t worry we understand, thank you, her friends replied and the teacher of yesterday walked into the class.
“Hope I thought I asked you to see me, he said.
“Oh my, sorry sir I forgot, Hope replied getting on her feet.
“Its alright, just do that after the class, he replied and faced the class.
Hope left to the teacher office and he offered her a seat,
“Welcome, so why didn’t you come yesterday when I asked you to? He asked.
“I totally forgot sir, it wasn’t intentional, she replied.
“You know Hope, I really admire you a lot. Your intelligence and everything, but first of all I’ll like to share my condolence with you. Am sorry for your mom loss, I know what a feels like to lost a mother, take heart okay, He said and she nodded.
“Thank you, she replied.
“Hope, do you mind we being friends? I mean close and real friends, he said.
“But sir, you’re my master and you shouldn’t be saying such a thing, she replied.
“What makes you think so? I’m your master doesn’t mean if I see a beautiful and intelligent girl my heart craves for I shouldn’t go for her, that’s unfair, He replied.
“Am sorry sir, I have a class to attend now and I should take my leave, Hope said and shifted the chair backwards but he held her.
“Hope please, am swallowing every pride in me now begging for just a chance, I’ll love and protect you, He said drawing her close to his body but Hope drew back.
“I’ve heard you and my answer is no, she replied and left his office.
“So how did it go? Evelyn asked.
“He’s asking me to be his friend, Hope replied.
“Friend? Like what kind of friend? Eve asked.
“You should know the friend, Hope replied.
“And? Eve asked.
“And I said no, what else? Hope asked.
“Common Hope not again, stop being naive always, Eve said.
“Excuse me! Hope said.
“No I won’t excuse you, for crying out loud you are 15, a full blown teen with outstanding features of a beautiful lady, Eve replied.
“A teen you said, yes I agree with you and am glad you didn’t say an ad.ult, because am not, Hope said shrugging her shoulders and Eve shook her head.
“When will you grow up? Even asked.
“Am growing can’t you see? Hope replied smiling and opened the wrap of cake she left for herself.
“You’re so annoying, Eve said with a frown.
“At least am not bored, here have a bite, Hope said giving her the cake…………….
Palesa arrived school already and remembered her friends about her party later in the evening,
“Sure we’ll be there, they all agreed.
“Palesa, I thought there will be no party because your parents won’t make it, Kim, Palesa best friend said.
“But they agreed to it, and besides I have my grandparents to back me up, Palesa replied.
“Thats right, Kim said nodding.
“What’s wrong? You wont be attending? Palesa asked.
“Not really, just that am going out on a date, She replied and Palesa looked at her.
“On a date? With a guy you mean? Palesa asked and Kim nodded.
“Yea, I know you won’t know that because you’re head over heels in love with Jason, and he hasn’t taken you out for a date yet, very bad, Kim replied.
“Is it really necessary? After all we have been hanging out together, Palesa replied.
“Hello, that’s not a date. That’s just a friendly hang out, after all he hasn’t asked you out yet, Kim said.
“He will, I think he’s just waiting for Me to finish college and its just a matter of few months, Palesa replied and Kim smiled.
“When I look at Jason, I don’t think he sees you that way. For the fact you two grew up together doesn’t mean you two can go int!mate, for me you are only a junior sister to him, Kim replied.
“Kim that’s enough, you don’t know Jason more than I do and that’s it, Palesa said.
“Fine fine, don’t tell me you’re upset? Kim asked.
“You’ll make me more upset if you don’t attend my party for one unless date whatever, Palesa replied and Kim rolled her eyes.
“Don’t worry, we will have the date in your party and you’ll get to see him. He’s hot and in high school, Kim replied winking at her.
“Same with Jason, Palesa replied and Kim laughed.
“Sure, same with Jason I forgot. Take a look at this gown, which should i wear tonight? Kim said bringing out her phone…………..
Hope got home, freshened up and had something to eat.
She went back to her room and began playing her guitar and wrote down her personal lyrics while she played.
She felt hot and went out to have a swim outside with a bikini and Math drove in.
He noticed someone was using the swimming pool and decided to have a look, there he saw Hope for the first time that way and suddenly had a s*xual urge for her.
He went in and met the Nanny just about leaving,
“Welcome sir, she greeted.
“Yea, you’re done for the day I guess? He replied checking the time and she nodded.
“I was just about leaving, but i checked Hope room and saw it empty, she replied.
“Oh, she’s Having a swim outside, see you tomorrow, he said and went up while the Nanny left.
“Hello there, am done for today, the Nanny said and Hope came out from the pool.
“Okay nanny, is dad back? She asked.
“Yea he just walked in, you know what to do when its time for dinner right? She asked.
“Yea I do, bye, sorry i can’t give you a hug, Hope said as she was dripping w.et.
“Am glad you didn’t, see you, the nanny said giving her a Peck and left.
Hope hurriedly dried herself and covered her body and went in but saw Math coming down,
“hi dad, welcome, Hope greeted giving him a peck while he smiled.
“Thank you, he replied.
“I’ll go in now to dress up, I’ll be back, Hope said and run up while he looked at her se.ductively………………
