Season 2. Episode 8.
Few days later no one heard or saw Hope parents around.
It was clear to Monica and the Doctor that truly they have let go of Hope,
“I trust you madam, please take care of her. Right now you are her only Hope, The doctor said when Hope was to be discharged the next day.
“I will and I promise to do my very best to give her the best, she replied.
“You’ll be fine okay darling, just be a good girl to your new family alright, the doctor said to Hope.
“I will Doctor, and be a good boy here okay, Hope replied and the Doctor rolled his eyes.
“I have always been a good boy, my mommy told me that, he said.
“Are you sure? Anyway I’ll take it that way, Hope said and The Doctor drew her chin smiling.
“I’ll see you guys later okay, He said and left.
Monica phone began to ring and it was her sister calling,
“Hey, how are you doing? She picked up.
“Doing good of course, so are you still coming down tomorrow? She asked.
“Yea be expecting us, Monica replied.
“I am expecting you and not the us, anyway safe journey, she replied and dropped the call…….
Mpho and Yvonne haven’t talked for days now as he was still angry about Hope maltreatment,
“Won’t you eat today still? Yvonne asked when he got dressed for work.
“Not interested, he replied getting ready to leave.
“Babe am sorry okay, you’re not giving me a chance to explain and thats the annoying part, am sorry, she said hugging him behind.
“Please stop, am not in the mood for this, He said.
“But am sorry, how long are we going to continue like this? Please lets stop it already for the sake of our sons, pleaseeeeee, she said and he looked at her.
“Its alright, he finally said.
“Thank you, now let’s eat, she said sitting him down while he smiled at that…..
The next day Monica already arranged and loaded the bags in the car set to go with Hope.
“Bye baby girl, you finally escaped our injections, The doctor said carrying Hope to the car.
“Thank you sir, Bye, Hope said.
“Bye darling, He replied putting her in the car and had a hand shake with Monica.
“You sure will make a good husband, get married soon and thanks for everything, Monica said and he laughed.
“Sure when it happens I’ll invite you, he replied.
“I’ll be the flower girl, Hope said in the car.
“Sure you’ll be, safe journey, The doctor said and Monica drove off.
They safely arrived in Johannesburg but Hope was already asleep,
“Sweetheart we are home, Monica whispered in Hope ears and she opened her eyes to see a portable building before her.
“Is this where you Stay? She asked.
“Yes, now let’s go in, Monica replied and opened the door and a good looking guy came out of the building.
“Finally she’s back, Mathuhle said and Monica went to him giving him a kss and hugged him..
“I’ve missed you, she said.
“I’ve missed you too, and she must be the Hope right? Math asked.
“Yea, Hope come say hello to my husband, Monica said and Hope went to him..
“Thanks for accepting me sir, Hope said and he smiled.
“You’re welcome, where are the bags? He asked.
“In the car, honey go in and make yourself comfortable okay while we get the bags, Monica said to Hope and she went in.
“What do you think? Monica asked her husband.
“Anything that will make you happy is fine by me, he replied.
“Wow thank you honey, you’re the best, Monica said and kssed him.
“Alright let’s get the bags first, he said and opened up the boot and Monica helped with a bag.
They went in and met Hope sitting on the floor,
“Honey common sit on the sofa, Monica said to her.
“Aunty I was scared of the sofa so I decided to sit on the floor, Hope replied and her husband smiled shaking his head and went in to drop the bags while Monica went to her and picked her up.
“Honey you don’t need to be scared of anything, this is your home so be comfortable. And another thing, can you stop calling me aunty now? She said holding her.
“What should I call you now? Hope asked.
“Mommy, and he will be called daddy, Monica replied.
“Okay mommy, Hope replied and Monica smiled and kssed her.
“Thanks baby, I’ll quickly prepare a smoothie for you before i get you something to eat. But for now come let me show you to your room so you’ll have a shower and change up okay, Monica said and carried her while Hope eyes was going through the house as it was too big and beautiful.
“But mommy, is that your husband? Hope asked.
“Yes, why? Monica replied.
“He’s handsome and young, Hope said smiling.
“Awwwnnn someone is crushing already right? That means your daddy is handsome man, don’t you like it? Monica asked.
“I like it, Hope replied.
“Don’t worry, he’s a cool guy and you won’t have any problem with him I promise you that, Monica said and Hope nodded.
“Now the smoothie, Hope said smiling and Monica rolled her eyes.
“I know you didn’t forget that, I’ll get it prepared quick, I’ll be back, she said and pecked her then left the room while Hope happily jumped on the bed.
Monica getting to the kitchen called up her sister,
“I guess someone just arrived, her sister said immediately she picked up.
“Yeap I just did, Monica replied.
“Alright and your boyfriend of a husband didn’t mind? She asked.
“He didn’t okay, Monica replied and her sister heaved.
“Fine you’ve never listened to me and you will never stop complaining at the same time, I just hope you won’t call me up to say another thing, Her sister said.
“What do you mean by that? Is it because i do share my problem’s with you? Are you using that to mock me? Monica asked.
“No way, but why will you share your problems to someone you will never take her advise. When you wanted getting Married to Mathuhle i warned you and you never listened to me, what about the little boy you bought from that teenage girl and now this. Don’t you think it will be better you don’t tell me anything at all? her sister asked.
“What exactly brought up this topic? I and Math are happily married okay. Fine the adoption of the baby crashed and so? What makes you think this will crash too when her parents isn’t interested in her anymore, Monica said and her sister laughed.
“You and Math are happily married indeed, to think that you got married to a guy you are older than for 6 years makes me sick. Where is the fruit of this so called marriage Monica! Her sister shouted.
“Enough Stella! I won’t take this insult from you anymore, at least have a little respect for your senior sister! Monica shouted.
“Of course you know I respect you but i won’t stop telling you the truth. Are you happy with your life now? Stella asked and Monica angrily dropped the call breathing hard and Math walked into the kitchen.
“Hey what’s that face for? He asked holding her.
“Nothing, is just my sister pissing me off, she replied.
“Must you two be fighting always? He asked.
“She is always picking on me even when i want a friendly conversation with her, I don’t know what to do with her anymore, Monica sadly said.
“Then leave her alone, stop calling her if she is always upsetting you, he said.
“But i can’t, she’s my only sister and i love her so much, she replied.
“Thats your problem, your soft heart is just your problem and you need to start training it. But don’t let her stress you okay, you know I’ve missed you a lot, He said hugging her and she smiled.
“And i missed you too. I wanted preparing a smoothie for our baby, Monica said.
“What about me? I guess I’ve grown old right? He asked and she laughed.
“I’ll surely include you too, she replied………..
