Season 2. Episode 24.
The ride was a quiet one as Jason couldn’t help but check on Hope who was sitting at the back.
The car stopped and horned, Hope saw the building in front of her and gasped.
The gate opened and they slowly drove in,
“Welcome, Jason said opening the door for her and Hope stepped down..
“Mom, Palesa said and came out and Julia went to her.
“Are you okay baby? What’s wrong with you? Julia asked touching her.
“Nothing mom, where did you go to this early? Palesa asked.
“You got me worried and confused, I had no choice than to go to Anastasia place to ask if she has any idea of what’s wrong with you, Julia replied.
“No you shouldn’t have done that, Palesa said.
“What choice did you leave me with Palesa? Julia asked but Palesa saw Hope.
“What’s she doing here? Palesa asked pointing at her.
“Honey Anastasia sent her parking, I saw her to on the road and decided to help, Julia replied.
“You’re taking a total stranger into our home? Did you ask why Anastasia sent her parking? Will you think she will do that with no good reason? Palesa asked.
“Honey whatever it is we need to help, I can’t watch her go on the street when i have a house like this, Julia replied.
“No mom I won’t take this. You can’t risk this family for a stranger, no! If she stays here then i’ll leave! Palesa shouted and ran in.
Julia looked at Jason confusedly and ran in also to meet Palesa.
Hope heaved looking down sadly and Jason held her hand,
“Its okay, let’s go to somewhere else, Jason said.
“Somewhere else? Just forget it don’t bother, Hope replied.
“Come here, Jason said opening another car putting Hope bag inside, while she stood looking at him.
“Go in is safe, he said and she slowly got in.
He drove her out to a hotel and she looked at him surprised,
“What are we doing here? She asked.
“Stay here and cool your head, I’ll pay for everything, He replied.
“No no I can’t accept this, Hope said.
“Hope I don’t know why am pushed to help you, please don’t push me away, Jason said and came out from the car and opened up for her.
She sluggishly came out and he got a room for her.
“Is it comfortable? He asked and she nodded looking around.
“Thank you, she replied.
“Don’t mention, I’ve paid for everything here, all you have to do is just make a request and you’ll be attended to. Don’t worry too much and don’t leave this place without you telling me, he said and she nodded.
“I won’t, thank you so much, she replied.
“Okay bye, I’ll see you later, he said and slowly gave her a peck and left.
Jason arrived home and met Julia in the sitting room,
“Where is she? Julia asked.
“In a hotel, that was the only place I could think of, he replied.
“Okay that’s alright, I feel so ashamed now I couldn’t help her out. I honestly don’t know what is going on anymore, i don’t know my daughter anymore Jason, Julia said in tears.
“Is not your fault mom, you’ve tried your best but what did she say her problem really is? Jason asked.
“Nothing tangible and am tired! Julia shouted and left to her room.
Palesa who was listening to them came down looking at Jason,
“So you finally took her to a hotel, what for? She asked.
“Why do you care? If you hate that girl that is your fucken business, but please don’t shove it to my throat! He shouted.
“Why should it be her? She shouted back.
“And what about her? You know what, I don’t care anymore what you think about that girl. Enough of dictating for me, I have my life to live so live yours, Jason replied and left for his room while Palesa stood breathing hard.
She left the house immediately and drove off,
“Let’s meet up, she texted Anastasia on her way.
Minutes later she parked on the street that led to Anastasia house.
Anastasia came out and opened up the door getting into the car.
“Hey baby, what’s wrong with you? Anastasia asked seeing her face.
“What did you do? You drove Hope away and handed her to my mom right? What have I ever done to you? Palesa asked.
“Wait what are you saying? You mean Julia picked up Hope? Anastasia asked.
“You heard me right. I didn’t let her get in but Jason lodged her in a hotel, what the hell happened? Palesa asked.
“G0sh those two are driving me cr@zy! I actually sent Hope away, but Julia drove in and met the whole show. She wanted taking Hope anyway but I refused, Which hotel is she right now? Anastasia asked.
“I have no idea, she replied and Anastasia looked at her..
“What’s on your mind now? Don’t think I want you to be away from Julia, I still want you to live a life of a princess okay as long as it will make you happy, Anastasia said.
“That is slowly going away can’t you see? Hope is going to take everything from me including Jason, and I won’t let that happen, Palesa replied.
“What are you going to do? Anastasia asked.
“Anything, as long as it will keep her away from me and everything I have, Palesa replied and Anastasia smiled.
‘Even if you have to kill her? Anastasia asked and Palesa looked at her.
“What! Palesa shouted.
“Sssshhhh no one will have to know, besides if they get to know you are just a stranger, don’t think they will love you anymore. They need to concentrate on their lost but found daughter and you’ll be forgotten. So baby, if you still want to be their princess and have everything they have labored for in your name, then act fast, Anastasia seriously said and Palesa gasped.
“But how can I carry out the plans? She asked.
“Now don’t worry about that, you gat me baby. Just let me know the hotel she is and I’ll hint you about the rest, Anastasia replied and she slowly nodded sadly.
“Hey, life is a risk and you have to risk it. But don’t worry, everything will be fine I promise you. By the way, why were you crying and locking yourself up? Anastasia asked.
“Never mind, I have to go now, She replied.
“Alright, be calm I’ll take care of things trust me, Anastasia said giving her a peck and left.
Palesa breathed in, closed her eyes tight and drove off.
Getting to her house she had a call from the hospital,
“Hello miss the result is ready, the doctor said.
“That quick? She slowly asked with her heart beating fast.
“Yea, we don’t waste time over here, he replied.
“I’ll be there, she said and reversed back immediately.
She got to the hospital and got the result from the hospital and left.
She decided to check out the result at home as she was scared if she will drive home safely on her own.
She got home and hurriedly went in,
“Palesa, Alfred called her and she was surprised she didn’t noticed her dad when she walked in.
“Good.. Morning dad, she greeted checking her time to confirm.
“I didn’t see you today in my room, what’s wrong? He asked.
“Nothing dad, she replied.
“Nothing? You’re standing at a distance to reply me and what’s that in your hand? He asked seeing an envelop.
“Its nothing dad, don’t worry dad I’ll see you later, she said and left for her room immediately.
“What’s wrong with her? Alfred asked Jason.
“No one seem to know sir, Jason replied.
“This isn’t funny anymore, i think her mom was right when she refused her coming down. If she wants to go back to the states let her say so, we won’t stop her, Alfred said.
“Sir please just let her be, this is not good for you now. Please eat up your fruits, Jason said feeding him while he wondered what’s inside the envelope Palesa held.
Palesa locked her room looking at the envelope breathing hard, she brought out the paper and right there it was negative.
We slowly sat on the floor as it dawned on her Anastasia said the truth.
“No no no, she kept saying as tears streamed down her face as she feared leaving Julia and Alfred, with all the benefits she has been enjoying.
She laid down crying her eyes out and ignored every knocks that came on the door.
Minutes later she heard Jason voice outside and she got up and looked through the window.
She saw him holding a car key and knew he is about driving out.
She ran into the bathroom and washed her face and ran out as Jason just drove out.
She hopped into another car and drove off too………….
