It’s been 3 hours now and Daniel hasn’t opened the door and he hasn’t eaten anything or taken his medicine and am so worried.
Everyone left except me,i sat in front of his door.
“Kylie,you need to go and rest” Mason said.
“I can’t, Mason,when Daniel is still angry at me,he hasn’t eaten and am so scared.
“He is so stubborn,Ky,he won’t open up”
“Then i will show him that more stubborn,i will stay here till he opens up”
“Okay,then”
Mason walked away.
I knocked one more time.
“Danny,i know you are still awake and you can hear me,am really sorry for not telling you about your health,i couldn’t look you in the eye and tell you..am sorry,danny..i love you so much”
I heard his footsteps coming towards the door,i stood up and then the door opened.
His eyes were red and swollen,i saw a tear drop from his eyes.
He hugged me so tight,we were crying in each other’s arms.
“Am sorry, Danny,am sorry”
“It’s okay, Kylie,i understand…Babe,am going to die,am gonna leave you”
“No, don’t say that, let’s not talk about it”
“But it’s the truth,i have only six months to live”
“Let’s forget it..you need to eat,you haven’t taken anything”
“My room is messed up, let’s use the other room”
“Okay,let me get something from the kitchen”
“Bring that medicine with you,am having a little headache”
“Okay”
After Daniel ate and took his medicine,he slept off in my arms. I starred at him,caressed his hair.
I wish i could die with you,i love you so much,so so much.
Few minutes later,i slept off.

The next day,
? Nina’s P.o.v?
“But why them,why can’t they be happy?” I asked almost in tears.
Mason was with me,i was waiting for Kylie to come down.
“I don’t know, i have not seen two people love each other the way Kylie and Daniel love each other, now destiny wants to tear them apart”
“It breaks me when i see Kylie in pain, she’s like my sister”

I woke up but didn’t see Daniel next to me,i stood up and checked everywhere but i couldn’t find him.
Then i saw a letter on the table, i opened it and read:
“Kylie,am sorry i did this but i had to. Have been thinking of our future cause i will never see those days. I don’t why this is happening but maybe i probably deserve it,i tried to do my best but you know am not perfect.
When i leave this earth,hope you will find someone else. We are still young and there’s so much we haven’t done like getting married,start a family,watch your husband with his son. I wish it could be me but you and i know that’s not possible.
I hope i go to heaven so that i can see you once again,my life was kinda short but i got some many blessings, the most important one was you being mine,am sorry it has to end this way.. Don’t come looking for me,i will forever love you”
Tears started flowing down my cheeks,Daniel left me,he went away..No,this can’t happen,i must find him.
I ran down the stairs, the family were having breakfast,Nina was around.
“Kylie, where’s Daniel?”
“He left,Daniel left” i said and wiped my tears.
“What do you mean by that?”Mrs Mendes asked.
“We went to bed together but when i woke up,he wasn’t there, only this letter.
“Let me read it” Mr mendes said.
I gave him and he scanned through it.
“Oh Goodness,where in earth could he be?”
“He took all his clothes, everything,we have to find him”.
“Kylie,relax,we will find him”
Nina hugged me so tight.
” Where could my son be?”
“I know a place he might be at” Mason said.
“There was a time Daniel was telling me about a mansion he has so far away from here,he stays there when he wants some quiet time”
“So where is it?”
“In Cleveland”
“Cleveland? That’s so far away”
“I know but it’s worth a try.. Kylie,you should go and convince him to come back”
“Okay”

I was standing in front of a huge mansion,the drive to Cleveland was so hectic.
I walked towards the entrance but i was stopped by two guards.
“Who are you and what do you want?” One of the guards asked.
“Am Kylie, Daniel Mendes Girlfriend..i want to see him,is he in?”
“Yes,but he doesn’t want anyone to disturb him”
Thank goodness,at least i found him.
“Call him and tell him that am here first”
“Okay”
The guard brought out his phone and called Daniel,i could hear his voice in the background.
“Yes,sir, she said she’s Kylie..i don’t know how she got here”
I came closer to the phone.
“Danny, it’s me,open up”
The guard hanged up the phone.
“He said you can come in”
The door opened and i walked in,the compound was beautiful.

How did she find me? Sometimes i think she put a tracking device on me.
I watched her come in from the balcony,she looked up and our eyes met.
“Hello,my runaway Boyfriend”
“Why are you here?”
“To see you and to take care of you”
“You should go back,i can take care of myself”
“Why are you pushing me away?”
“Because you don’t deserve someone that is about to die”
“What do you mean by that? I love you, Danny and am not letting you face this alone”
“I can’t offer you anything,i can’t make you happy”
“Just your smile makes me happy,Danny..you can’t throw away all the years we shared together like this”
“Go back, Kylie,go back, please..am setting you free from me”
“Open the door and let me in”
“No, Kylie,go home”
“If you don’t open the door, I will sit here till you decide to open the door”
She can’t be serious, it’s freezing cold out there,if she stays, she’ll freeze to death.
“Kylie, enough with the jokes and leave”
“You think am joking,right?”
She sat on the floor and looked at me.
“I will stay here till you open the door”
