Episode 10

“Please say yes”.
“Fine you can go”.
I jumped around grinning widely.
“But come back before 11”.
“Thanks Mum”. I rushed over giving her a peck.
I went over to the dining table sitting down to eat the omelette.
After that, Adrian and i bade our Mum goodbye.
I saw Adrian going over to a white sedan among the fleet of cars.
“That’s Dad’s car”.
“Not anymore”. He said unlocking the car getting in.
I rolled my eyes getting into the car with him and he drove off. The drive was so boring and Adrian was quiet all through.
Frustrated, i turn to him. “Won’t you say something?”.
“You wouldn’t listen anyways”. He said not sparing me a glance.
What does he mean by that?
We got to school and he went to the school driveway pulling over. I got out and some girls surrounded the car taking pictures of Adrian.
I walked over to the school buildings going through the slide doors. I kept on walking down the hallway when a hand slid around my waist.
“Hey babe”. He whispered in my ear giving me cold chills. “You look hot”.
“Thanks”.
He raised his arm around my waist so it could rest right under my left bre@st.
“Axel”. I warned.
“You are so boring, Ashley”. He said removing his hand.
I didn’t respond. We finally got to my locker and i opened it putting in the paper bag containing Lily’s clothes.
“Whats that?”. He asked referring to the paper bag.
“Lily’s clothes”. I said as i narrated all that happened on monday and why Lily had to give me spare clothes.
“Oh, so you guys are friends now?”.
I nodded. “But you are 100% more important”.
He smiled.
Kathryn came over. “Hey Ash, i’ll talk to you later”. She said walking away.
I turned to Axel but i see his eyes are focused elsewhere. I trailed it and saw he was staring at Kathryn licking his lips.
“Axel”. I say snapping my fingers.
He jerked to reality. “You were saying?”.
I became totally confused.
“Is there something going on between you and Kathryn?”.
