Episode 14
~~Ashley cont’d~~
Axel invited me to sit at his table with his friends. I felt disgusted at the things they talk about and Axel’s hand couldn’t stop roaming around my thighs.
I stood up taking my bag. “I have to go”. With that, i left.
I suddenly remembered the paper bag, i took it out of my backpack and headed to their table. They were laughing over something.
I cleared my throat and they all turned to me.
“Hey sis, join us”. Adrian said flashing a smile.
“I came for something different”.
I took out the hoodie and yoga pants giving it to Lily. “Thanks”.
“No problemo”. She said taking it.
“Ian, heads up, your girlfriend is coming”. Xander said laughing.
Adrian nudged him to stop.
Almost immediately, Sophie came over with her minions. I left. I can’t stand Sophie.
Sophie is such a fake around Adrian but whenever she’s not with Adrian, she’s like a dev!l. She loves bullying students especially the commoners and middle class in our school.
I headed to the library. I guess that’s thats where Jessy is.
I walked in looking for her. I walked a while and saw her buried in a lot of books with her glasses placed on the table.
“Jessy, are you not hungry?”. I said pulling out a chair to sit.
But she ignored me flipping a page silently humming.
“Jessy”.
“What”. She snapped at me.
I was taken aback. “Whats wrong?”.
She scoffed. “Whats wrong, Ashley, everything’s wrong, can’t you see?”.
“See what?”. I ask confused.
“Axel is cheating on you with Kathryn, you are just a playtoy, one of his flings”.
“Kathryn is my best friend and she will never betray me”. I argued.
“You are unbelievable, Ashley”.
“I know whats going on here”.
“Thank goodness”. She said exhilarated.
“You are jealous”.
“Excuse me”.
“You are my friend, how could you be jealous of Axel and i”.
“I’m trying to help you Ashley”. She said getting angry.
“Help me by not sticking your nose in whats not your business”.
She gasped. “Well then, goodluck choosing Axel over me”.
She said packing her books into her bag while putting on her glasses. She walked out.
I sighed as i rubbed my temples. I hope i haven’t made a bad choice.
The bell for lunch break rang interrupting my thoughts. I sighed and went to class.

Finally school’s over.
I headed to the school’s parking lot waiting for Adrian as usual. I really need to get a driver’s license or better still my personal driver.
Adrian came after exchanging goodbyes with his friends. We got into the car and he started driving.
“What happened”.
“What do you mean?”. I faced him.
“I saw your best-friend, that chatterbox, the one with the glasses”.
“Jessamyn”.
“Yeah”. He nodded.
I kept quiet.
“She ran out of the library crying, what happened to her?”.
How do I tell my twin brother that Jessy and i are no longer friends because of Axel.
