I kept on running until i stopped by a sidewalk. I stopped crying when i noticed my eyes now ache. Tears couldn’t flow again.
My eyes felt heavy against my face as i sat on the floor. I sniffed as more tears threatened to come.
I brought out my phone to call one of Dad’s drivers to come pick me. I powered it and quickly threw it hard against the wall, i heard the screen shatter.
A picture of Kathryn and i is my lock screen wallpaper and just seeing her ex-innocent face disheartened me.
How could she betray me?
“Are you okay?”.
I looked up to see Xander sitting on the floor next to me.
So he has been following me all this while.
I quickly hugged him. “I just need a hug right now”. I whispered.
He hugged me back stroking my hair.
After a while, i withdrew.
“Are you okay now?”. He asked looking at me.
I nod slowly staring at him. “I’m fine”. I said lowly then looked away.
He chuckled lightly and turned my face to his. “You are not, its written all over you. Your heart is heavy and i see the pain in your eyes. You are emotionally down”. He said softly as tears poured out of my eyes like water.
I never knew i still have such tears in my system.
“Please stop crying, you are too beautiful for this”. Xander said hugging me.
I felt a bit relief as he pace my back gently, i never knew Xander was so caring. We stayed like that for God knows how long. I slowly disengaged from the hug cleaning my tears.
He spoke up. “Never cry for any relationship in life because the one whom you cry for does not deserve your tears. The one who deserves it will never let you cry”. He said wiping my tears from my face softly.
I smiled sadly. “Sine when do you start caring for me? We are not friends, remember?”.
“My heart aches to see you cry”. He replied.
I stared at him teary-eyed. “Have you ever been a girl who makes people laugh but yet you’ve never been happy. The good example of that person is me.”.
I continued. “Seeing my best friend with the only guy i’ve ever loved , it hurts so badly, Xander, it hurts”.
