Xander raised my head and stared into my eyes. “You need some rest, come, let me take you home”.
He stood up stretching forth his hands. I took it and he pulled me up.
He took me to his car and i got in. The drive was silent except for my little sniffing. He stopped in front of my house gate.
“Thank you”. I whispered to him getting out of the car. Then he drove off.
I quickly wiped off my tears and knocked on the gate.
“Who is there please?”. Max voice sounded through the gate.
“It .. Its .. Ashley”. I stuttered.
“Miss Ashley?”. Max asked unlocking the gate. He seemed surprised to find me standing there with my puffy eyes.
“School isn’t over yet, are you okay, ma’am?”. He asked and i nodded entering into the house.
“Are my parents in?”. I asked.
“No but their plane would be landing in few hours”. He replies.
I sighed in relief .. Mum would be damn worried to find me like this.
“Okay”. I mumbled before walking towards the door of the main house.
I pressed the code and the door opened. I walked in and closed the door behind me. I realized my legs ache terribly as i walked up the stairs to my room.
I opened the door and threw my backpack to one side of the room. I stood in front of the mirror and i couldn’t recognize myself.
My eyes looked so puffy and res, tear streaks drew a long line down to my jaw. I picked a wipe from the drawer and wiped my entire face.
No difference!
I pulled off my pink hoodie and white jeans, with my shoes .. I need to freshen up.
I picked up my towel and walked into the bathroom.
I came out few minutes later and went to sit on my bed. I took my large pink teddy bear. Teddy.
I hugged it close to remembering what Xander said.
I just hope i have the strength to move on.
