I felt relief as Adrian pulled into the parking lot.
“Finally”. I muttered going out.
I was going to the school buildings but Adrian held me back.
I sighed. “What?”.
“No boy should dare come close to you”.
I nodded tiredly. “Okay. Can I go?”.
“Don’t interact with any guy in school, don’t flirt with any guy in school …”. He kept on listing stupid rules which i knew i wasn’t gonna follow.
“And if i do see a boy perving on you .. I’m gonna beat him up”. He concluded.
Wait!! What?
Isn’t that extreme over the angle.
“Ian, i know you are doing all these because you are worried but i am fine”.
He stares at me. “Are you sure?”.
“Absolutely”.
Xander came over. “So you won’t go running off if you see that two-faced scumbag Axel and Kathryn”. He asked.
That sentence made cringe a little.
My ex-boyfriend and my ex-best friend.
Yuck!
“I can deal with it”.
Adrian runs his hand through his hair. “I don’t know”.
“Ian, relax”. I soothed him. “I’m fine really”.
“Okay but you are with me until first period”.
I groan turning to Xander. “Help me”.
He shrugged.
Adrian slings his arm around me playfully as we headed into the school building walking through the hallways with Xander behind us.
“Where are we going right now?”. I ask Adrian.
He grinned in return. “Sophie”.
I frowned immediately i heard that name.

I hurried out of the car slamming the door shut. Did i actually come earlier than i use to? To school?
I walked towards the hallway checking the cars at the parking-lot searching for Adrian’s car but i didn’t see it.
I walked to the hallway and over to my locker dropping my bag. I brought out my phone and earpiece closing the locker walking away.
Getting into the homeroom, i see Samantha on a seat by herself reading a book.
I walked over seating next to her. “I prefer you being a fashionista not a bookworm”.
“Come on, Sophie, its just a novel”.
I shrugged. “Same thing”.
“You cane early today”. Sam said with a grin.
“Well i choose to”. I said with a smile.
“Is Xander coming to school today?”. Sam asks dropping the novel.
“Well .. Yeah”. I said and she gasped excitedly.
“Are you serious?”. She asked with raised eyebrows.
“Anything?”. I asked.
“The thing is, i have a crush on him”.
H*ell no!
He wouldn’t even go for Sam.
“When we left Adrian’s house yesterday, i couldn’t stop thinking about him so i searched him up on the internet”. She added.
“And?”. I asked wanting to hear the scoop.
“I saw his pictures because he’s the son of Thomas Anderson and Ella Anderson”.
“Who?”. I asked confused.
“Thomas Anderson. One of the richest business tycoons in Florida”. She grinned.
She tucked her hair behind her ears sadly. “But his Dad is late. Died 10 or 11 years ago”.
Wow! So much information.
She continued. “Xander is so handsome. I wish i had his number”.
“I have his number”. I said. “After all he’s best-friends with my boyfriend”.
“He’s so hot and handsome”.
I chuckled. “Be careful or you might lose yourself when he’s around”.
“I can’t wait to se him”.
“Are you gonna flaunt yourself around him or what?”. I asked annoyed.
“If that what it takes for him to notice me then yes”.
Oh .. Dumbs.
Not while i’m here.
He won’t look at you twice.
“Well … You are daydreaming Sam”. I said calmly. “I’m sure he has a girlfriend prettier than you so he wouldn’t even look at you twice”.
She smiled. “He’s here”.
I turned my eyes to the door and thats when I saw him. Yeah, Adrian was in front and he was at the back.
They came over and thats when i actually noticed Ashley. She was obviously frowning at me.
“Hey. Xander”. I smiled.
Wait! I didn’t greet Adrian first.
Adrian left Ashley and came to me pecking me on the lips.
“Bae .. You came early to school today”.
I smiled sweetly. “I chose to”.
“Well I__”.
He was interrupted by the bell indicating first class.

“Well I__”.
The bell for first class immediately rang interrupting Adrian.
I looked at Adrian. “Can i go now?”.
“What subject do you have now?”.
“History”.
“I’ll text Audrey, she has history too”.
I frowned. “I don’t need anyone watching over me”. I walked off annoyed.
Why is he doing that?
I can take care of myself.
Or is it because of what Xander told me? He said Axel was still gonna come after me.
I shrugged it off.
“Hey Sugar”.
