I walked into the basketball court nervously clinging to my backpack. I walked to the sidelines where they where.
“Jessy. What you doing here?”. Audrey asked surprised.
“I just wanted to see how you are doing, i mean the way you left Arts class”. I explained.
“Oh that, i was feeling sick”.
“You are sick?”. J.R asked removing his headset.
Audrey shook her head. “Nah”.
“Since you are okay, i better be on my way”.
Audrey immediately cleared her throat.
I furrowed my eyebrows. “What?”.
She sighed. “Come on”.
I rolled my eyes. “Fine”.
She smiled.
I faced J.R. “I’m sorry for calling you gay which clearly you are not”.
“And i’m sorry for pushing you”. He said smirking.
“For pushing .._”.
He slightly pushed me to the floor.
I stood up. “Fair enough”.
“That b@stard”. I heard someone shout.
I turn to see Adrian hitting things. He threw the rack of balls.
“Ian. What’s wrong?”. Audrey said goiing over to them while J.R followed.
I decided to go with them to find out what was happening.
“That filthy thing almost got his hands on my sister”. Adrian said furiously.
“Dude! Just calm down”. Xander said.
“I swear i’m gonna__”. Adrian stopped seeing me. “What the h*ell is she doing here?”.
I cringe under his gaze. “I .. Um”.
“She’s with me”. J.R said behind me.
I blush at that statement.
“Uh, Adrian, you gotta see this”. Lily said showing Adrian her phone. “On the school blog”.
They all brought their phones out watching it. I peered at J.R’s phone and gaspd when i saw cheese splattering on Ashley.
“How dare she?”. Adrian fumed angrily.
“You might want to back off now”. J.R whispered pulling me back.
I watched as Adrian threw temper tantrums. Is he this angry?
“Lily. I want to know everything about Kathryn Newman even her deepest secrets”. Adrian said.
Lily took out her phone. “Working on it pronto”.
J.R went over to Adrian. “This is Ashley’s issue, she can fight back herself”.
“No one is fighting, i will just give Kathryn a taste of her own medicine”.
“Adrian i don’t think you should do anything stupid”. Audrey said.
Adrian walks off.
“Where the hell are you going?”. Xander yells after him.
“To go look for my sister”. He replied walking out of the basketball court.
J.R sighed. “Lily, what are you gonna do?”.
Lily smirked. “Humiliate Kathryn to the core”.
“You were not even the one who got pranked”. J.R said exasperatedly.
“Who cares?”. Lily said running off.
“I better go stop her”. J.R muttered following her.
“Is this how Adrian always is?”. I asked nervously.
Xander chuckled. “Why do you think everyone seems afraid to cross paths with Ashley?”.
“But Kathryn just did”.
“That girl is in for some humiliation”. Audrey said.
Just then, Axel came in along with his group of friends. His face seems bruised.
“Did you do that?”. Audrey asked Xander.
“He asked for it”. Xander said simply.
“I was hoping i would see you here”. Axel said crossing his arms.
“Too bad i’m not in the mood to beat you again”. Xander said tucking his hands into his pockets coolly.
“Jessy. Quick, go call Adrian, something bad is brewing”. Audrey whispered.
I grabbed my bag and ran of the court through the back entrance. Just need to find Adrian. Where could Adrian be? With Ashley.
Where could Ashley be? Library? Cafeteria? Nah, not there. Garden, she has a liking to flowers.
I quickly ran to the garden and met she and Adrian laughing. I stopped panting.
“Jessy .. What’s wrong?”.
“Xander .. Axel … Basketball court”.

~Ashley~
Ian kssed my forehead softly. “I hate to see you cry”.
I pouted. “Best brother ever”.
“But hey, just because i’m nice to you now doesn’t mean i’ll be like that all the time”.
“I’m okay with that”. I replied.
He tweaked my ear playfully. “Knucklehead”.
“Hey!!”. I protested tapping him on the head.
He laughed and i joined him in laughing too.
Just then, Jessy came in panting.
“Jessy .. What’s wrong?”. I asked.
“Xander … Axel .. Basketball court”.
Adrian immediately stood up. “What the hell”.
I moved closer to Jessy. “Deep breaths now, just continue, breathe in, breathe out”.
“I’m good now”. Jessy smiled. “Audrey said i should call you because Xander and Axel may be fighting right now”.
“Sh!t!!”. Adrian muttered running out.
“Come on Jessy lets go”. I held Jessy’s hand as we ran through the school hallway.
Everyone was going in the same direction. Probably, they heard about it.
We got there and met Xander and Axel glaring at each other.

~Adrian~
“There will be no fight”. I yelled entering into the basketball court.
“Oh come on, Adrian, are you afraid your best-friend is gonna chicken out?”. Axel said loudly for evryone to hear.
Xander tries to punch him but i hold him back.
“Oops, i’m so scared of him”. Axel said mockingly.
“I’m the captain of the basketball team so i decide who stays in the basketball court”.
“You were made the captain out of pity”. André said.
“You better shut it”. I told him off.
“Come on, we all know you are not good enough to be captain”. André continued.
I clenched my fists. “You better shut that mouth pile or you’ll have to make a visit to the hospital”.
“If you think you deserve to be the captain, then lets play”. Axel said loudly.
The students immediately started chanting. ‘Play’ ‘play’ ‘play’
Xander dragged me back. “Adrian, don’t. He’s not worth”.
I scoffed. “I’ll show him that i’m perfect at this”.
“He’s only trying to piss you off”. Audrey said. “Remember; Coach said no fights or you are out”.
“Adrian lets play. I’ll like to learn some of your tactics”.
I turn to Axel. “Are you trying to challenge me?”.
“Well if you want to call it that, no problem”.
I looked around and saw the students filled the court already holding up their phones.
Axel smirked. “Adrian. First player to win or maybe you are a chicken just like your sister”.
My blood boiled at that statement. Well if he wants it, he’s gonna get it.
“What is going on here?”.
I looked back to see Coach Raymond.
“We are just playing for the captain position”.
“I’ve decided that Adrian is the captain ever since”.
“Lets see about that”. Axel smiled. “If he loses, i’ll be the captain”.
Coach looked at me. “Did you agree to this?”.
“No, he didn’t ag__”.
I cut Xander off. “I’m up for it, coach”.
Coach throws a ball at Axel and immediately blows his whistle.

~Ashley~
The game started as Axel was tge one holding the ball. He played the ball but Adrian outsmarted him and collected the ball.
“I really hope Adrian wins”. Jessy whispered to me.
“He’s gonna win”. I replied confidently.
They continued playing as Axel took the ball and almost bouce it into the net. Everyone gasped as they thought he had scored the goal but it bounced on the edge of the net and fell back on the floor.
I held my chest and took in a deep breath. Gosh! I was so scared.
I need to help Adrian. Think, Ashley, think.
“Go, Adrian. Go, Adrian. Go, Adrian”. I chanted loudly.
“Good idea”. Jessy said as she joined me in chanting.
Soon almost everyone began chanting.
‘Go Adrian’
‘Go Adrian’
Everyone chanted loudly.
“Adrian and Axel are really experts in this game”. Jessy commented.
Then someone finally scored … It was Adrian!!
Clapping and jubilation filled the court. A frown crept into Axel’s face while Adrian smirked at him.
I noticed Axel said something to Adrian while passing him. Immediately, Adrian pushed Axel on the floor punching him.
