Hi Ashley, Hey Jessy”. J.R said.
I stared at him not knowing what to say.
Ashley quickly nudged me.
“Hi, i mean hey .. umm .. Hello?”. I ranted nervously.
Xander dragged Ashley away and I was left alone with J.R.
“So ..”. He rubbed his palms. “You called me here?”.
“Yeah I just wanted to talk about what happened earlier at__”.
“I don’t wanna talk about that”. He interrupted me.
“I’m really sorry of how I made you feel”. I apologized.
“Is that all?”. He asked.
Okay!! How do I say this?
Breathe in, breathe out.
Start.
“J.R, I__”.
He shuts me up with a kss before pulling away.
“You really gotta stop doing that”. I told him.
He chuckled softly. “I just can’t control myself around you”.
“Yeah about that … “. I trailed off.
“I really like you Jessamyn and I’ll understand if you don’t wanna be with__”.
I cut him off. “I like you too”.
“You do?”. He asked surprised.
I nodded nervously. “Actually yes”.
“But why did you react that way earlier?”.
I fiddled with my fingers. “Well .. I just didn’t know what to do”. I answered truthfully.
“So the first thing that came to your mind was rejecting me?”.
I sighed. “Look, J.R, we are two different people in different social class, I don’t__”.
He cut me off. “Thats the reason? I don’t care about all of that, okay”.
“Thats what y’all say but then boom, you leave at some point”. I said dramatically.
“I really like you, it just came all of a sudden, but its for real”.
“Prove it”.
He raised an eyebrow. “How do you expect me to do that?”.
Yeah!! I really don’t know what to tell him at this point.
He cupped my cheeks. “Look, i like you and you also feel the same way, lets just go into a relationship without thinking of any barriers for now”.
I looked up at him staring at me. Ashley was right, he was cute, more cuter than Jayden Roy. I imagined how being in a relationship with him will feel like.
I giggled. “Okay fine, I’ll be your girlfriend”.
“I never asked you that, i only told you how i felt”. He joked.
I hit him playfully. “Don’t try that joke on me”.
He laughed. “You got me, girlfriend”.
I raised an eyebrow. “So we are official?”.
“You said it yourself”. He replied with a grin.
I laughed heartily in response, i got a boyfriend and he’s charming and sweet.

“You and I. We are not compatible”. I simply said.
“Adrian don’t say that”.
“I’m telling you what I__”.
She immediately shut me off with a kss. I enjoyed the kss for a little while before pulling away.
“You liked it?”. She asked.
I sighed. “Audrey, I don’t wanna get your hopes high or anything but__”.
“You like Sophie”. She completed the sentence. “I get it”.
I held her hands. “I’m really sorry, you are so sweet and nice with all that”. I said.
“Why do you like Sophie?”. She asked all of a sudden.
“She’s beautiful and hot?”.
She scoffed. “Thats all?”.
The way she asked the question made me racked my brain for an answer I knew I couldn’t reply to. Why did I fall in love with Sophie?
I ran my hands through my hair nervously. “G0sh. Audrey i like Sophie, thats all I know”.
“Really? Why did you date me back then?”. She asked curious.
“Audrey, you were lovable, cr@zy with a good side and i really liked your attitude, most people call you sassy but I see you as bold”. I answered truthfully.
As I told her that, i realized something. The Audrey I liked back then was still the same Audrey here with me.
“If you see me as that then why did you break up with me?”. Tears were forming in her eyes.
“I .. umm, well you always agreed with whatever I say, i just needed someone who would always have different views”.
“Adrian, the only reason why I always agreed with you was because our thoughts were alike, okay. Everything thing you did or said seemed perfect to me, you seemed perfect to me”.
“You thought of me that way?”. I asked softly.
She nodded. “Of course. You were my first boyfriend and I was so lost in love but that Love was the best thing that ever happened to me”.
I remained silent staring at her.
She touched my face. “You were the best thing that ever happened to me”.
I held her palm. “I really don’t know what to say right now, Audrey”.
She chuckled. “I guess I should do whats in my mind right now”.
I raised an eyebrow. “And that is?”.
She placed her lips on mine wrapping her hands around my neck, i kssed her back drawing her close.
Maybe I should just relax and go with the kss.

“You are friends with Jayden Roy?”.
“I didn’t say that, i just .. umm. Maybe you should just forget about it. Lets hang out”. He ranted on.
“Hold up. Are you keeping something from me?”. I asked confused.
He slings his arm around me. “I know Jayden Roy doesn’t mean we are friends”.
I thought of it. Seems like a logical reasoning.
“You sure you not keeping anything from me? No secrets, remember?”.
“We didn’t say anything about secrets”.
I frowned. “So you are keeping a secret from me?”.
“Thats never gonna happen”. He pecked my cheeks.
I smiled. “So what do you intend doing now?”.
“What do you wanna do?”. He asked.
“I want cotton candy”. I replied with a pout.
“I’ll go get some”. He kissed my nose before walking away.
I sat on a park bench looking around for any sign of Jessamyn. I wonder what might be happening right now. I hope she figures it out.
Everyone wants love in their life, everyone loves and needs to be loved. To love and to be loved in return is special. I glanced over at Xander where he was buying me the cotton candy.
I never expected to fall in love with him or anything. Heck!! We were not friends but hey, Love happens and we can’t stop it. I can shout it in my heart that I love Alexander Anderson.
I frowned when I saw a girl and her friends talking to Xander, they seemed to be fl!rting with him. G0sh!! The nerve, he didn’t even pay attention to them. Take that!! Losers.
I stood and walked calmly over to to where they stood.
“So do you have a girlfriend?”. I heard one of them ask.
I quickly linked arms with Xander. “Hey baby, are you done her?”.
The girl looked at me. “Who is she?”.
“His girlfriend”. I retorted.
Xander held my palm and squeezed it softly. “Sorry but I’m taken”. He told them.
I glared at them for a while before Xander took me away walking off.
I stopped by the water fountain. “I can’t believe you were talking to them”.
“What was I supposed to do? I clearly told them i had a girlfriend”.
“Well it didn’t seem like you said it”. I said angrily.
He paused. “Are you angry right now?”.
“Of course I’m angry at you”. I told him off.
“You are just being jealous and its normal”.
I ignored him.
“Okay then if you won’t answer me, i’ll just eat this alone”.
“Thats mine”. I protested referring to the cotton candy.
He chuckled softly. “You look cute when you get all angry like that”.
“You are cr@zy”. I smiled a little bit.
He hugged me close to himself. “I love you so much”.
“Don’t melt my cotton candy”.
He pulled away. “Seriously?”.
I laughed. “I love you more, baby”.
“Aren’t you all getting sweet?”.
I turned to see Jessy and J.R … holding hands.
“Oh wow. You too are together, huh?”. I asked surprised.
“We are taking things a little slow”. J.R replied.
“Okay then. Why don’t we go on double dates?”. Xander said.
They agreed and we all set off on the best adventure yet.
We finally settled in a classic restaurant by evening. I smiled seeing Jessy all settled and cozy up with J.R. I really love how she’s happy and I hope this lasts.
