THE BROWN HOME*
“Karan baby how are you feeling now?” Mrs. Brown asked
She went into her room to check on her, after what happened her husband hadn’t returned
“Never been better,” she replied
“Am sorry sweetie, did you want me to tell you a story or anything?” She asked
“No am fine, just go,” she replied
“Baby, am sorry,” Mrs. Brown said gently
“I wanted to be like you mom, I just wanted to have sx with one man just like you, why did dad have to be this cruel? Is he even my Dad?” She said with tears
Mrs. Brown was trying not to cry but she couldn’t help it
“Sweetie am sorry,” she mumbled
“You keep saying that, it’s not like you did anything… I hate Dad, I wish he will just d!e by accident or someone will just shoot him or he will…..”
Her mother didn’t let her finish and hugged him tightly
“Am sorry I failed, it’s my responsibility to take care of my family but I failed, just one thing and I couldn’t do it right, am so sorry sweetie, it’s my fault, am sorry for not being a good mother,” Mrs. Brown said
“Mom don’t cry, it’s not your fault, it’s Dad and I hate him, I wish I will just kll him and gladly go to jail,” Karan replied

Mr. Brown came back not long ago and his wife didn’t fight him or say anything, being Alex he’s mind told him that she was up to something but he couldn’t place his hand on what it was
He decided to join them in the dining since they were eating
“Dad, can I have a part of your meal?” Olivia asked
“No,” Karan said
“No,” Mrs. Brown said
They both said at the same time
“This place is like a graveyard, what happened? Why isn’t anyone saying anything?” Eddy asked glaring from one person to another
“Why can’t she have a share of my food?” Mr. Brown asked
“Dad I…..”
Karan h!t her arm
“Ouch that hurt, I just want to have a part of his meal cos I saw mom sprinkle something in it,” Olivia said making then gasped except for Karan and Mrs. Brown
“Did you….. Did you want to kll me?” He asked
She stood up and left the table without saying anything Mr. Brown followed
“Did you try to poison me?” He asked
“I wish it was po!son,” she replied
She search for her phone but didn’t find it, that’s when she remember that she left it at work, she turned and started going downstairs
“Were you going to po!son me?” Mr. Brown said and dragged her back
She looked at him with so much hatred
“Tell that to the cops cos they are on their way,” she replied walking away
With a swift move, he pulled her back and pinned her on the wall
“Get your hands off me,” she said
“Or what? Huh? Or what scarlet?” He yelled angrily
The children ran out when they heard the voice, she h!t his ball with her knee and went rushing downstairs
“Come back here,” he yelled going after her, he grabbed her hair then he sI.apped her with the back of his palm making her lose balance and went rolling down the stairs
“Mom!!” Karan shouted and covered her mouth, her eyes nearly popping out from their socket
Others freeze in shock
