CHAPTER 34
“Get away from me” Daniel pushed Ariana with force that she fell on the chair
“What was that!” He said angrily and kept on wipping his lips repeatedly
“I’m sorry I just-
“Save it” he cut her off before storming out
Ariana burst out in tears for a very long while before she got up and started kicking the whole tables and chairs in anger
“Why am I always unlucky when it comes to love, why did people choose others over me, I’m not beautiful, I’m not pretty, I’m not sxy!!?” She yelled at nothing in particular and continue kicking the tables and chairs

Daniel on the other hand immediately appeared to his hostel, he ignored his friends and rushed to lock himself inside the bathroom
He then moved to the basin, field it with water and dipped his whole face inside for like ten seconds before raising his head and facing the mirror
He looked at his reflection with water dripping down from his hair to his face, his grip on the basin tightened
“Dmn you Ariana, I hate you!!!!!!!!!” He yelled
The boys looked at themselves in confusion, wondering what’s wrong with him

Lilith ran her way to her hostel in tears, she looked at the bottle of pain reliever she was holding and squeezed it tight recalling the way she saw them kss
Thankfully it was only her in the room so she let all her tears out. Don’t ask why she’s crying because she don’t know, she just felt disappointed, she felt broken and shattered seeing Daniel with another girl
“I Know I don’t have right to cry but it hurts, it hurts so much. It’s hurting me what’s wrong with me. I hate you Daniel” she cried even more

SATURDAY**
It’s a breezy afternoon, Selene is sitting in the swing with a smile while Blake is at her front with his huge sketch book, painting her
“Stay still, almost done” he said, adding more paint to the brush
Few mins later, he stood up and smiled
“Can I see?” Selene asked
“Close your eyes first” he smiled
She closed her eyes and he turned the paintings to her
“Open” he said
Selene opened her eyes and screamed almost immediately
“Love it?” he asked
“He¢k! Yeah!, Super” she smiled brightly
“OMG Blake, you need to teach me how to paint” she said
“Sure but you’ll have to bribe me” he smiled
“With?”
“A lots of ksses and cuddles” he said
“Oh come here” she moved to him and stared kssing him all over his face making him laugh hard
“Just so you know I’m keeping this painting” she said
“Sure” he smiled and she pecked his cheeks quickly
The both sat on the swing with Selene resting her head on Blake’s shoulder
“So tell me, how’s your inner spirit now?” He asked
“I feel like it’s getting better but..”
“What?”
“Yunno ever since I went to that coven, I’ve been having this dreams, weird if you ask. Someone will wake me up and when I look I’ll only see a glimpse of silver hair leaving, I’d run after it but I’ll lost it immediately” she said
“Nightmares would be nightmares” he smiled and arranged her hair
“Let’s watch a movie, I brought my laptop” Selene said
“Sure” Blake smiled
“Wait” she stood up and rushed out, few seconds later she came back with her pink laptop, and a blanket
The laptop was placed on Blake’s lap, Selene sat beside him and rested her head on his shoulders while he hugged her to himself as they started watching the movie

SCHOOL CAFETERIA**
Lilith could be seen standing beside the counter and placing orders, Daniel just entered, he sighted her and went to stand beside her
“I’ll also have the chowmein” he said in a loud voice to the waitress, expecting Lilith to look at him but she didn’t
“Hey” he waved but she snubbed him till her food came
Without sparing him a glance she walked out, Daniel followed her and grabbed her by the arm
“I thought we are now friends” he said
“I just don’t wanna be your friend anymore” she said and dusted his hand of hers
She made to leave again but he blocked her way
“What did I do?” He asked
Lilith just looked at him and chuckled
“This guy sure do knows how to act, wait we aren’t dating so he free to kss anyone he likes?!” She thought and shook her head immediately
“Lilith” Daniel called again
“What is it, after you made me look like a fool, I was worried about you and your stupid arm yesterday, I came like the fool I am to look for you but you were busy kssing-
She paused with her mouth opened when she realized what she was blurting
“You. You.. saw that?” Daniel stuttered
“You men are just the same, you succeed in making girls fall for you then you break their heart, you’re all Heartbreakers. Here have my chowmein, ion want it anymore” she gave him her plate and ran out
Daniel dropped the food and ran after her but paused when she was already far
“I’m sorry okay, she was the one who kssed me, I was taken back. If I wanna kss anyone then that’ll be you” he shouted out loud that students paused to look at them
Lilith’s paused and turned to look at him sharply
“You’re crazy” she shouted back
“Yes I’m ¢razy for you, you’re so pretty I’m dieing here, ion know what to do anymore” he shouted again
“Shut up” Lilith shouted and resumed her running again
Ariana was hiding at the back of a wall and was trying to keep her tears in
“I thought things would work out for us, why did you help me, why did you kss me, why did you make me fall in love with you” she held her chest tight as she cried painfully

Ruby is coming out if the school gym but bumped into Raphael who was about entering
She wanted to walk past him but he grabbed her hand and took her back inside forcefully
“I can hit you, let me go” she yelled but instead he pinned to the wall and captured her lips in the roughest way ever
Ruby pushed him back with all her strength and then $lapped him
“Are you planning to rappe me?” She said angrily
“Why Ruby, what’s wrong with me, why are you turning me down so you can be with Ezekiel” he said hurtfully
“What nonsense are you spouting” Ruby said angrily
“I saw you hug him yesterday, what does he have that I don’t” he said painfully
“You’re just. Nuts!” She seethed her teeth as she spoke, she made to leave but he hugged her from behind
“Just a chance, give me a chance please so I’ll prove to you what I feel, I’ll quit my Playboy life only for you, please Ruby I really love you” he said, almost crying
Ruby turned to give him a hard look but the look in his eyes softened her instantly
“You can’t fall for me Raphael, I’m not made for love” she said lowly
Ezekiel was just entering but paused and hid at the back of the wall, peeping at then from behind
“That’s not true, you can’t say that” Raphael rebuted
“But it’s true you’ll only be hurting” she said
“Is because of Ezekiel isn’t it?” He asked
“Me??, What’s this fool saying?” Ezekiel thought
“Nothing is going on between me and Ezekiel, I’ll tell you later but not now” she said
Raphael smiled and cupped her cheeks
“In this world we all get chances, if you’re saying all this just to scare me away then you’re wrong, I’ll keep on chasing till you accept me” he said softly
Ruby looked into his eyes but as usual that same sting, this time it stung her hard that she had to push him and run away
Raphael ran after her but he lost her, Ezekiel immediately appeared to a spot in the school and met Ruby vomiting bIood and gasping for air
“Sis” he rushed to her
“I’m fine, I’m used to this” she said shaking her head
“How long has it been happening?” He asked
“Ever since I met him” she replied
“It might be serious, we need to figure this out” Ezekiel said, patting her back while she nodded

EVENING**
Master Xian called the whole students to the hall
“If you guys are wondering why you’re here, just know it’s a serious matter. Lately people have been dieing, bIood have been wasted, the demons are so hellbent in waking their their prince and stealing the key of initial”
“Anytime from next week they might be breaking in here to fight, y’all need to be alert, be prepared, from Monday excessive training would occur, and upper next week, y’all will be going outside by night to fight demons” master Xian said
“Yes master” they chorused
“That’ll be all” he said and disappeared
The whole students sat down quitely for some while before they made to leave but Elena stopped them
“How about having a little fun before getting all serious” she said
“What’s your point?” Ruby asked
“Let’s play a human game, just this once” she said
“Not interested” Mabel sneered and turned to leave but Elena used her magic to lock the doors
“Everyone must participate, ion care who” she said firmly
“What game?” Mirabel asked and rolled her eyes secretly
“Have you ever heard of truth or dare?” Elena smirked
