MAMA, I MADE IT!?
Episode 15.

After we paid our fees we went into a restaurant to eat as Charity complained of being hungry, then we left to the laboratory when we were done.
Done with everything in the lab it was evening already and I needed to go home, we hugged ourselves,
“call me when you get home, she said.
“I will bye, I said and hurried off.
On the way I met 2 of the girls waiting for me, I wanted to be scared because of the look on their faces but I kept a bold face and wanted passing but they pulled me back forcefully.
“Common come back here! Purity you had the guts to take Charity from us huh! The slim one who is the leader shouted.
“What do you expect me to do? I was only saving my friend that’s all, I replied.
“And you stepped on our way in the process right? Get prepared thou brave friend to deal with us, she said.
“What do you mean by that? Look I don’t want trouble……. “We don’t trouble too or did we! They shouted.
“You asked for it for taking my friend, you took the wrong person and I’m sorry! I can’t watch you destroying my friend life, I said.
‘I hope she will watch you destroy yours, we shall meet again, they said and left and I was frightened.
I increased my footsteps and stopped a cab immediately but I wasn’t comfortable till I got home.
Because of how worried I was, I forgot getting the food stuff I wanted buying on my way coming back for dinner. And when I remembered this, I was already far behind the market and close to the house, I simply branched by a store to get few things for change of plan.
I got home and called Charity to tell her I just arrived but she noticed the change of my voice,
“Friend what’s going on? She asked and i shook my head.
“Nothing, maybe I’m just tired, I replied.
“Friend I thought we said no secrets? I know your tone when you’re tired so what’s the problem? She insisted.
“I met the girls on the road and they are threatening me, Charity they are so angry, I said.
“Oh my God! They knew it was you then but I didn’t tell them you told me anything, why did they come to you? She asked.
“Maybe you must have mentioned something they knew they only said when I was there, i won’t blame for suspecting me because i foolishly accepted i was the one who separated you from them when i was to pretend like i know nothing, I said.
“Oh God, you know what? it’s okay. They are just good at threatening people, I said.
“Do you really know them too well to know what they are capable of doing? I asked.
“Not really but you can’t let their threat get to you, I thought you always tell me that? She asked.
“Yea yea I’ll be fine don’t bother, see you next week, I said.
“Happy weekend, she said.
“Same and take care, I said and dropped the call………….

1 Month later the girls were totally forgotten as we didn’t see them around and everything was going on smoothly.
We had series of tests, lectures….. school was indeed hectic that I hardly had time for myself.
Most times when i get back home, I’ll just give my mom bread to eat and sleep off till the next day because of how tired I am.
But one day in school our tests results was shared but mine was missing, it was very unusual because I sat for the test and the course was a very tedious one.
The lecturer doesn’t laugh with anyone and just his course has made most students dropped from the department as they couldn’t pass it…… so I heard from our seniors when they were advising us.
We took the man course very important and I wondered why the test that should give me a little mark to boost my exams score will be missing.
“Let’s go meet the lecturer, your name cant be missing just like that, Charity said.
“Charity my name is not missing but my script, I corrected her.
“All the name you still need to meet that man, do you know just 5 point can fail you in this course? Ahh I will not joke o even if its 1 point I must have it because its very important, Charity said and I rubbed my head.
It will be my very first Time to enter a lecturer office because of all the wonders I do hear especially for the female students.
The males were the ones going in and out of their offices, and we were only 10 females out of the students that passed the entry exams.
The other girls pattern is not clear to us, they mingle with the guys alone and maybe just a HI we will get when we see ourselves on the road.
Also the guys we were not still close to them, they brought their rubbish play to us and we warned them very seriously, that made us an island in the department.
I wonder how they knew in such an important course my script is missing, they became concerned in it and all they could tell me was I should go see the lecturer.
I had no choice and I walked down with Charity to his office, but Charity clearly told me she won’t be able to go in with me afraid the man will be angry and all that.
I swallowed enough saliva and breathed in a thousand times when I was outside the door, that was how scared everyone was with him.
I knocked on his door twice and opened without hearing any reply but I met him alone. “Did I ask you to come in? He asked ignoring my greeting without even looking at me.
“Sorry sir I thought I was……. “In my office I only attend to those I say come in to! He cut in.
“I’m so Sorry sir, I said and wanted closing the door back to leave.
“And what do you want? He asked and I stopped,
“Sir… my… test script…. I mean the scores was shared but mine was missing, I replied shaking.
“And what do you want me to do? He asked.
“I sat for the test sir, there must be a mix up somehow I couldn’t find my script, I replied.
“And what are you trying to say that i withheld the score or script from you? he asked.
“No sir I didn’t mean that……. “Look here I know all those tricks, students won’t sit for the test but come here to report of missing script just to earn pardon. I am not that careless lecturer now get out of my office! He shouted and I slowly left closing the door behind.
I don’t need to tell Charity anything because his voice was loud enough that she can hear him outside,
“Sorry friend, that mean you need to write the exams well to meet up the pass score, but this Is not fair, she said holding me.
“Its fine, after all i haven’t failed right? I asked trying to put myself in order as we slowly strolled back.
Days later another important test results was shared and mine was still missing. This time around I refused to be quiet and held our representative very seriously to explain why all the missing of my test results.
“What do I have to do with the missing scripts? He asked me.
“Because you got it from me, I replied.
“Same way I got it from everyone else, or do we have any misunderstanding that can warrant this?
He asked and I couldn’t say anything because there was no prove to show he is the one responsible, and I couldn’t place my head on any clash or fight we may have than can make him do such wickedness.
60marks gone is a very big and serious loss to me, when it should be boosting up my score its reducing instead.
I refused going to see any lecturer after the embarrassing encounter I got from the first despite all Charity said, this lecturer is not even different from the first.
With my hand on my chin I sat lost in thoughts in Charity hostel thinking of what is really going on and who is bent on frustrating me this way, and Charity slowly took my hands off my chin.
“Still thinking about It? She asked and i hissed.
“But Charity its so annoying, no matter what i will write in exams I can get it all nah, when the test should cover me up and push me to a pass level i lose it all, tell me who will be happy? It would have been understandable I didn’t write the test at all than this to happen, I said and she hugged me.
“Its fine, the Purity I know will still pass whether without the test or not. I should be the one to cry if such thing happens to me because I won’t balance well, so please friend Cheer up, she said shaking me but I was not interested in all she said.
“Okay let’s go out, bills will be on me, she said dragging me up.
“Please Charity stop, go out to where when exams will soon begin? I need to study hard please, I said.
“Purity why this nah? This current mood of yours is really affecting me hope you know that? She asked.
“Charity its allowed for me to be this way don’t blame me, 2 hard courses and 60 marks gone, you don’t except me to celebrate or do you? I asked.
“I know but……. “Just leave me alone! I shouted and left angrily ignoring Charity calling me back………..
