MAMA, I MADE IT!?
Episode 27.
Alfred returned with a pail that contained water and a towel, and as he was about to soak the towel to clean me up I stopped him,
“I want to have my bath, I said.
“Here there’s no place to bath, our captives doesn’t take their bath now let me clean you up, he said.
“Your captives? Including a lady on her red flag? Or should I remain this way stinky and die of disease? I asked and he looked at me.
“Red flag? How many days will it last? He asked.
“Just shut up! I shouted and he stood up and left. Minutes later he returned with a nylon and kept it beside me,
“Come change up, he said and I raised my head looking at him.
“I don’t take my bath just anywhere, I said.
“Did i say take your bath? Look here don’t make me change my mind, I don’t mind keeping you on your rubbish red flag till you get dried up, don’t tempt me! Now get up! He shouted holding me up and the trouser I was putting on was already soiled with blood.
With the way he was dragging me with the pains at my back I stopped going down while his friends were just looking at me.
“Do you realize my back hurts? I asked breathing hard.
“And do you realize I need to get you out of this place in the next 5 minutes? He asked back.
“To where? Where are you taking me to? I shouted and he carried me while I kept shouting on him to put me down.
“Just clean yourself up there’s no time, he said keeping me down in a small bushy area, and gave me the nylon and kept the pail close to me.
“I’m I doing it in this open place! I shouted.
“Suit yourself, he replied going and I looked around looking for a place of escape but there was no place.
He returned almost immediately when I was washing my face and dragged me out,
“Wait, wait where are you taking me to? I asked but he tied my hands at the back, tied a kerchief on my mouth and eyes and pushed me into the car I saw parked.
The car stopped and he came out, opened the door and took off the kerchief from my eyes first,
“Where is this place? I asked when he removed the kerchief from my mouth.
“Where you’ll be staying with me, he replied bringing me out,
“Just know this, Success will find you, I said when he was untying my hands and he stopped and tied it back,
“I love the challenge and we will know who will win this fight at the end, he angrily said and pushed me to the door, opened it and pushed me in.
“Won’t you untie my hands? I Asked.
“Success will do that for you, he replied and wanted going out.
“Hey I’m hungry! I shouted.
“Success is preparing food for you, he said and closed the door and I heard the car driving out………….

I stayed the whole day without food nor water and I didn’t see Alfred nor his friends anywhere where Alfred abandoned me.
I didn’t find the voice to make any sound when I saw a light shone of my face. I opened it and saw it was day break as I laid on the ground with my hands still tied.
I weakly looked around me and tried to get up but I heard footsteps approaching, the door opened and Alfred walked in.
“Oh just look at her pretty face gone sour, what’s up? He asked squatting facing me but I kept my face down.
“Hungry? He asked but I didn’t reply.
“That’s what you get by being in your red flag in such an important time, he said and I looked at him.
“Is that it? Who am to you in this place? I asked and he smiled.
“Ever heard of slave to lu$t? That’s what you are now when you rejected my friendship, he said.
“How did you get to be in my department? You don’t deserve to be a medical doctor because you’re heartless! lives aren’t saved with you when you should be saving them you will kill them all! I shouted.
“I see you still have the strength to talk, when you’re dried up do your self the favour to let me know about it, but don’t worry you wont die, hunger won’t kill you yet until I’m done, he said smiling at me.
“Alfred, I won’t forgive you or shed a tear for you when you’ll be doomed. Now its not too late, get back to your senses and stop this, I said.
“Stop what? I should stop what is furthering my education? Will your father take care of me? He asked.
“You keeping me here how has it added to your bank account? I asked.
“Well this is my own fun so just enjoy it, he said and his phone began to ring,
“Oh guess who is calling? And just shut up else I’ll kill you myself, he said.
“You know very well i won’t do that, start killing me now, I replied and he stood up.
“I’ll take Charity call she I’m out of here then, too bad you don’t want to hear her begging me to find you, I’ll so much help her okay in a better way, he said touching my face laughing and left again.
“Alfred don’t you dare hurt her! i shouted and he closed the door.
There i knew I have to help myself despite how weak I was. I struggled and got up and saw a rough edge at the wall which I rubbed the rope on my hands repeatedly on it to get it loosed.
It was tough and took time but I finally got loosed.
I relaxed for a while looking around the room, it was empty and the windows though aluminum were with protectors.
I didn’t see the protectors until I opened the windows to check outside and it really broke my heart. I hit on the door severally shouting but the silence i got back was deafening.
I sat down weakly and heard footsteps approaching and I saw a stick at a corner.
I picked it up holding it tight and stood beside the door ready to use it on any one that will open up, i just had to do something.
But it looks like the person didn’t want to open up, the footsteps left the door after trying the handle and I wondered who it was.
The steps was going to the window probably to have a peep and I fearfully bend down but I recognize the cap I saw.
I closed my eyes and opened it up not sure of who I saw,
“Success? I called slowly called out and the person stopped moving.
“Purity are you in there? He ran back to the door hitting on it.
“I’m here please get me out of here, I said leaning on the door.
“Don’t worry I’ll be back, I only wanted to be sure, Charity was tracking on Alfred but I promise you I’ll be back, he said.
“Be careful please they are killers, get the police i beg you! I shouted.
“Don’t worry, he said and i heard him hurried away.
I closed my eyes filled with hope,despite i didn’t know how my friends will find me but I believe somehow they will.
Hearing Success voice quenched my thirst and hunger at once and i prayed seriously they shouldn’t get into harm way.
Hours later the door opened when a little sleep passed through my eyes and it was Alfred, I weakly rubbed my eyes and he saw I loosed the rope.
“Who got you loosed? He asked.
“Success did, I replied and he smiled touching my face.
“Why should i treat my princess this way? Here eat something, he said giving me a bag and i smiled. I brought out a plate of rice and looked at him,
“Looks nice, I said and he nodded. I opened it and turned the rice on the floor,
“But its only fit for a slave and I’m not one! I shouted and he licked his lips and held my hair tight and used the other hand on my jaws and I screamed out, then i saw Success trickily coming in as Alfred was backing the door……. He foolishly left it open.
“Why not look behind you, I told you he will come, I said when Success was already close to him and he used a big stick on his back and Alfred let go of me and fell.
“He’s with a gun! I told Success when Alfred wanted putting his hand at the back of his shirt and Success quickly held his hand and I searched him taking the gun and His phone.
“How could you do this to a friend? Success asked him.
“We were friends until you came, I swear I will kill you! Alfred shouted.
“I’ll love to see you try, Success said and made a call and i understood he was calling the cops with the conversation.
“My brothers will find you, Alfred said.
“Unfortunately you will drag them to us yourself, Success said and drew me close for a hug despite how dirty i was.
“Did he hurt you? He asked.
“You have no idea, i replied and and sniffed.
“Its okay alright, he asked cleaning my face and returned his attention to Alfred who felt like strangling him that instant.
“How is Charity? I asked.
“She looks sick but she will be fine, he replied and i sadly nodded……..

The cops came and took Alfred away while Success drove me to the hostel.
Charity hugged me for so long as we cried on each other,
“Friend look at you, what did they do to you? She asked.
“Not now friend, I need to have a bath, I replied.
“Sure I’ll go get you warm water, she said going out and I shyly looked at success, I was so ashamed he saw me this way but he was only smiling and his phone began to ring.
“Its Sonia, he said giving me the phone and we spoke for so long that Charity angrily took the phone from me so i can have my bath………

I came out from the bathroom feeling like a human being and i saw Charity packing,
“Where to? I asked.
“Alfred friends are still out there and until they are arrested you two need to be safe. We are leaving, Success replied and i nodded.
“I’ll excuse you to change up then, he said and left the room.
“How are you feeling now? Charity asked.
“My back hurts, i replied.
“Don’t worry I’ll take care of that, she said and i smiled.
“Thanks my doctor and investigator, i said laughing,
“It wasn’t funny, dad almost came down everyone was scared, she said.
“I know I felt it, but how did you find me? I asked.
“I called and you didn’t pick up and i slept off, but Success woke me up asking about you. I looked around and saw you were not yet back and i called you again but you didn’t pick up. I dressed up and left to the junction and i heard discussions about a girl pushed into a car in the afternoon and i quickly called up Success but he was already on his way down to school.
When he arrived was when i told him about Alfred threats and he was our number 1 suspect. We left that night to his house but he wasn’t there but we decided to lurk around until he came today and Success followed him. Friend its a long story and the cops were slow to act, we had to take the chance, she narrated.
“Thank you so much, i said holding her hand.
“Its nothing girlfriend, please Hurry up we need to get out of here, she said seriously arranging the bags while i hurried up with myself.
Minutes later we waved the girls bye and left with Success who got us a guest house a distance away from school, we couldn’t stop schooling now neither will the school activities stop because of us and we couldn’t miss out.
But Success sacrificed to stay with us until we are free from danger and he took us to school and brought us back.
The police were seriously looking for Alfred friends but it was sad I couldn’t help them because i was drugged when i was kidnapped and my eyes were closed when Alfred drove me out of the place.
Alfred was so stubborn to disclose their location also and it complicated matters because i was not completely happy and sure of our security every minute that passes.
But after a week I got rescued from there, I was in the room with Charity who slept off and Success hurried down to the city to attend to a little situation which he promised to be back the next morning.
That night i wasn’t feeling okay and i felt so disturbed, I constantly kept checking the window and made sure the door was locked but everywhere seemed okay to me.
Suddenly i heard a gun shot when i dozed off and I slowly woke Charity up,
“Hmm what is it? She asked rubbing her eyes but I closed her mouth when i heard noises.
“Where them Dey? Oya open the door! I heard Alfred friend voice and our eyes bulged open.
I quickly grabbed my phone and called Success but he wasn’t reachable.
“Don’t waste my time! Another voice shouted and i heard a hit sound,
“Please I’m looking for the door key, a guy voice said while i quickly texted the cops with my shaky hands as they tried opening the door.
The door flung open and they pushed the guy aside and Charity phone fell from my hands as 3 of them walked in with machine guns.
Charity was already on the bed crying and their face were so red,
“Please please please, was the only thing i could say.
“So you get mind arrest my guy? You no fear God you get mind arrest my boy eh! He shouted and i shook.
“I’m sorry please please, i shakily said.
“Where that guy? Where the bastard dey! He shouted referring to Success.
“He left, he left please, I replied and his eyes fell on Charity.
We were always fond of sleeping with only Panties, but the way i was so disturbed that night i dressed well.
When he looked at her was when I saw Charity was nked, and she totally forgot she was not dressed until his eyes was glued to her body and she didn’t know how to cover up afraid it may infuriate him.
My heart was beating fast seeing that and i wont watch him rappe her if it leads to that, I was ready to die to defend her………..
