Joe pov?
“Ah” I winced in pain as I woke up the next morning. I looked at the bed and I couldn’t see Sharon. Where the hell is she?
I stood up and went outside, I could hear some sound coming from the kitchen. I went there and saw my mom.
“You are awake” she said.
“Where is Sharon?” I asked.
“Why are you asking me when you are the reason she left” she said which sound confusing to me.
“What do you mean?” I asked.
“She left, I was told by her mom that she want a divorce” she said.
“What?” I asked surprised.
“Isn’t that what you want, for her to leave” she said slicing some apples.
“So now that she’s left, am sure you are happy” she said.
“Oh, am not sure if this is right to tell you but I was the one that sent Chris, I thought I could make you two fall in love by involving a third party but I was wrong” she said.
“So you sent Chris?” I asked surprised.
“Yes and am sorry for that” she said.
“But that doesn’t change the fact that she cheated on me” I said.
“Don’t you get it, the reason Chris sent you those pictures is obvious, for this to happen” she said.
“So you mean he planned it?” I asked.
“Yes, but it’s late anyway she’s leaving the country today” she said.
“What?! How can she leave like that” I said.
“You hurt her with the lady you brought yesterday, she loves you but you played with her heart. All she ever wanted was your love but yet you never gave her attention. You kept on hurting her” she said.
“It is not entirely your fault but mine also, because I forced this marriage on you both” she said out of guilt.
“When is she leaving?” I asked.
“I can’t tell you” she said.
“When?” I shout.
“If you are lucky enough then you will meet her in her house if not then she is on her way to the airport” she said.
I went inside, picked my car key and dialed Sharon’s number.
She picked it at the second ring
“What do you want?” She asked harshly.
“I love you” I said while she stayed quiet.
“I know I don’t deserve your forgiveness, but I want you to know I love you so please don’t leave, I know I have made stupid mistakes, called you stupid names but, I want you to know I was only jealous and stupid at times. I should have told you soon. I love you Sharon” I said.
“I love….” she stopped abruptly. “Sharon?” I called.
“Sharon?!” I called but heard no respond.
I could hear some sounds but it was not clear.
“Sharon, are you okay? Sharon answer me!” I shout.
?Sharon pov?
I was at the supermarket parking lot about to enter my car when I had Joe’s call. He confessed his feelings to me.
“I love you Sharon” Joe said to me as tear of joy rolled down my face. He finally confessed his feelings.
“I love….” I was about to say but I felt someone at my back, I turned back and the last thing I heard was Joe voice as I blacked out.
