“Sharon!” I called her as she laid in the pool of her blood, my binds were released by the police who came after hearing the gunshot.
“Sharon, look at me!” I said in panic.
“Am sorry” she said.
“No, don’t say words like that” I ordered.
“I love you” she said.
“I told you not to say words like that, baby look at me!” I said.
“I really do since you started your acting career, when we got married was the most happiest moment of my life but then again, you didn’t like me. All I could do was wish for your love even if it was for a day.”
“I wished you’d love me, but now I finally have your love, even if I die now I won’t regret it. Because my wish was fulfilled.”
“I love you Joe” she said and closed her eyes.
“Hey!” I said.
“Sharon, don’t do this to me”
“Sharon please, don’t leave me”
“No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
??Nine months later??
Joe pov?
The past couple of months has been hell for me, living hell but sometimes hell can be sweet.
Nine months ago, I lost Sharon but was replaced with another joy.
Sharon and a baby, yes luckily she didn’t die.
Chris was arrested and was sentenced for attempted murder and kidnapping.
And the reason it has been hell is because of Sharon’s pregnancy, because of that my wife has been lazy, like so lazy.
She always uses her pregnancy as an excuse to not do anything.
“Ah” I said as a plan came to my mind.
“My hand!” I screamed.
“My hand!” I screamed again and Sharon came out of the bedroom.
“What happened?” she asked.
“I cut my hand” I shout and she moved closer to me already crying.
“Fooled you!” I said and she looked at me with cold eyes, angry.
“Do you know how worried I was, you bastard!” she said and hit me and touched her stomach, grimacing in pain.
“What is it?” I asked.
“My stomach” she said in pain.
“Sharon!” I called frightened as she almost fell but I caught her.
“Sharon pls, don’t do this to me. What have I done? It was a play” I said worried.
“G0tcha” she said and stood up.
“Don’t mess with the wrong person next time” she said.
“You!” I said.
“You messed with the wrong person” she said smiling.
“I hate you” I said.
“Awwn, but I love you. I love you more than life itself.”
“I love more than anything in this world, both you and our baby. You mean a lot to me, am happy I finally have your love, it means a lot” she said.
“I love you Joe” she said and I smiled.
“I love you too” I said, stood up and hugged her.
“Ah, ah” she winced.
“I won’t fall for that again” I said not caring.
“Joe, my stomach, my back” she complained at the same time.
“What is it?” I asked worried
“I think my waterpot just broke” she said.
“What? Now?!” I asked.
“Joe!!!” she screamed.
(In the hospital)
“Where is my wife?” I asked anxious.
“Be patient, this is fifth time you asked about her, so pls calm down” the nurse said.
A nurse rushed out which made me more nervous.
Dear God, if my wife and child are safe I will be a faithful Christian.
Few minutes later,
The doctor came out.
“Where is my wife?” I asked.
He smiled, “congratulations your wife gave birth to a baby girl and she is asking for you” he said and I rushed to her ward.
I saw her with the baby.
“Joe!” she called slowly and sweet when she saw me.
“Are you okay?” I asked and hold her hand.
“Yes” she said.
I collected the baby from her.
I couldn’t help but to smile she was just as beautiful as her mom.
“Thank you” I said to her. “I promise you am going to be the best dad and also a better husband to you both.”
“I love you both more than anything.”
