She watched Lara as she happily ate the seafood she had ordered and secretly hoped, the lobster she was eating was gotten from Water harbouring bacteria that caused cholera or something similar. Cholera is a bacterial disease that causes severe diarrhea, vomiting and dehydration, it is usually spread through contaminated water and can be life threatening if left untreated.
Although it can be treated with the use of antibiotics, it is always best to prevent its occurrence by practicing good hygiene, regular hand washing, drinking clean water and avoiding eating raw or half food. Jeff noticed Lola was uncomfortable and began feeling guilty again, he loved Lara very much yet was very fond of Lola, he could understand how she felt watching them together. “I need to go to the bathroom” she announced getting up from the table to leave, “it’s okay, don’t be long, dessert will be here soon” Lara replied as the waiter cleared the table. About a minute after she left, Jeff knew it was his cue to follow her so he asked to be excused as well, leaving Lara with his phone, she had been trying to process a bank transaction for her company while they ate but had run out of data and had asked to use Jeff’s phone…. When Jeff showed up in front of the bathroom door, “I only sent the message about 2 seconds ago” Lola said “what message are you talking about?” Jeff asked looking confused, “the one I sent to you just now, check your phone”. Lola replied, “Isn’t that why you came?” Lola asked , “no” Jeff answered, “I only came because I knew you were upset and that was why I followed you here” Jeff explained still confused, “so you didn’t get my message?” Lola asked, “no I didn’t” Jeff replied, “I’m not with my phone”, “where did you keep your phone?” Lola asked starting to panic, “I hope you didn’t leave it lying around on the table”,“I didn’t leave it on the table…” Jeff began,“thank goodness” Lola said heaving a huge sigh before Jeff could complete his sentence, “….I left it with Lara.
She is using my phone” he announced, completing his sentence”. Oh! My Gosh” Lola explained, “that means she must’ve seen my message by now”. She said almost bursting into tears”. Oh God!not again” Jeff grumbled, “what are we going to do now?”…..
