SEASON 1 episode 9
HARRY’S POV
I woke up from my nap feeling a little stronger than before. I walked to the bathroom to take an afternoon bath before moving out.
I did the necessary in there and walked out to where my closet was. I took a round neck top and a white short.
I wore them and also my slippers before moving outside of my room. All my aim was Piper would have gone home, same as Max.
I got to the living room and I saw Max still there looking for something.
“Max are you okay?” I asked looking puzzled.
“Shhhh” he said putting his finger on his mouth.
“I am looking for Piper and Sarah.” He said grinning.
“Looking for them? Where? Why? Where did they go?” I asked looking more bewildered.
He kept his finger on his mouth and moved to my Kitchen, I looked at him like he would go cr@zy anything soon.
I was about talking when I heard screams from the kitchen.
“Ahhh!” I heard Piper and of course Sarah.
“I caught you!” Max said carrying Sarah in his hands.
She saw me but ignored totally. He dropped her and also carried Piper who looked like she has been laughing for a very long time.
“Can somebody explain what is going on in my house!!” I yelled angrily.
“Harry take it easy. We just decided to play some hide and seek games.” Max said falling to the couch tiredly.
“Yes Harry! I never knew Sarah was so much funny. She knows how to hide.” Piper said happily pulling me to the couch.
“Piper not now, I need to do some work. I will call mother to pick you.” I said standing up.
“No I don’t want to, please.” She said sadly.
She looked at Sarah wanting her to say something. She looked at me and for the very first time looked at me calmly.
“Please let her stay,she is enjoying her stay and I also am.” She said so sweetly but I kept a straight face.
“I will call mother.” I said standing up.
“Harry C’mon.” Max said feeling pity for Piper.
“Max that is enough! You don’t teach me what I want in my house.” I smacked and he swallowed immediately. He knew very well when i am angry nothing can change me.
? SARAH’S POV ?
I kept wondering if Harry was just trying to keep me bored or really wants to work. I mean, if she stays he won’t be disturbed. Not when she is busy with Max and I.
She walked to me in tears and i felt great pity for her.
“Piper I will visit you soon okay? I am on leave at work, so we will be able to play better.” I said and I crumbled into my arms in tears.
“I will miss you.” She mumbled and for the first time I was so broken down.
“I guess I will take my leave now.” Max said as Harry walked back into the living room carrying Piper’s bag.
He walked to the door and I quickly stood up running to him.
“I am so sorry Max.” I said holding his hands.
“Its okay Sarah. It is not your fault, I understand very well.” He said smiling.
“I really enjoyed today. I wish it wouldn’t end, but I guess that can’t be possible.” I said sadly.
“I also enjoyed myself. Don’t worry, we can hang out some other time if your husband allows it.” He said looking at Harry before walking out.
I closed the door sadly and instantly I heard the horn of a car from outside.
“It is mother Piper, let’s go meet her.” Harry said trying to hold the crying piper, but she ran to me hugging me before he could reach her.
“Go now Piper, I will play with you another time.” I said smiling at her. She nodded and ran out of the house while Harry walked out with her bag.
I ignored him and walked to the room feeling very angry.
What is wrong with him? Why is he so cold? Even to his sister and best friend.
Max is a very nice and jovial guy. I prefer his company to that of that cold and arrogant man. I really wish I had a say to keep Piper here.
I laid on my bed closing my eyes trying to catch some sleep since I had nothing doing. Dad gave me an automatic leave because of this filthy marriage and now he just treats me anyhow?
I heard someone walk into the room and I knew it was Harry.
“What was all that about Sarah?” His hoarse voice came. I didn’t want any drama that moment so I kept mute. I didn’t want troubles.
“I am talking to you! What gives you the right to play around with my sister and P.A, you are here for a contract you know that!” He yelled and anger ar0use in me.
“Don’t you dare talk to me anyhow! I am the one doing you a favour here! Do you expect me to sit here like a widow because this is a fake marriage? H*ell no I won’t!
“Since you decided to be the cold and arrogant man you want to be then fine! But don’t try to disturb anything I am enjoying. You have no right to choose who I play with and who I don’t!”
I yelled straight to his face in anger poking his chest with my finger.
“You know you can’t make me quit! Cos I never quit! I will do this to the end because of the word I gave to my father, I will never take back my words.”
“But remember one thing! You have no right whatsoever to tell me what to do and what not to do! I am not your property!” I rapped and I saw shock on his face.
I walked back to the bed and laid on it breathing hard. Though I know how cr@zy I can be, I have never been this angry my whole life. Well he deserved it.
I heard the door open and he walked out of the room without saying any words. I hissed in anger closing my eyes to sleep.
? KUC’S POV ?
“Good day Sir.” I said bowing to Mr Hart the CEO.
“Hey Kuc, how are you?” He asked as he sat on his chair in the office.
“Fine sir.” I replied smiling.
“Any problems?” He asked smiling.
“No sir. I was just worried about something sir.” I said sadly.
“Really? Sit.” He said furrowing his brows.
I sat on the chair opposite his desk, trying to keep a smiling face.
“Sir I noticed Sarah has not been coming to the company for some days now, and I am so worried about her.” I said sadly.
“Oh am so sorry, I forgot to tell you. Tho I didn’t make it known to everyone, but as my P.A I should have told you.” He said smiling.
“Okay sir, I am listening.” I said eagerly.
“Sarah got married on Saturday.” He said and a cough escaped my mouth immediately.
“What? Married?” I asked pinching myself, checking if it was all a dream.
“Yes, it was quite fast right.” He added smiling.
“Oh yes. I will be on my way now.” I said walking out of the office in haste.
Sarah why did you do this? Why did you do this to me? You know how much i loved you in high school. You promised never to leave me, and now you are married?
I dated you for good 5 years, tho I know I shouldn’t have left the country without telling you but this is just too much to bare.
I came back to you but you didn’t even hear me out. I told you I am sorry, couldn’t you just forgive me. Why did you have to marry another man?
I sat in my office resting my back on my chair as tears rolled down my cheeks.
