[He’s dead!!]
JI SOO’S POV
After we collected our order baby soo and I went to the park…
we rode on her favorite ride,The princess teacup…
it was super fun..
‘time to go now baby’..I said lifting her up,we entered the car and drove off…
‘I’m still having a bad feeling oppa’..she mumbled.
‘its going to be okay baby, nothing bad is going to happen,Noona is the only one home and she’s sleeping’..I said as we approached the street…
I noticed some people murmuring when I passed…
what are they discussing at 11pm??…
I curbed into the mansion and I saw police cars every where…
’identify yourself’…one of the officers said and I shoved him aside…
‘what are you talking about I live here!!!’..I screamed and walked past them…
Then I saw her….
Hae rah…
There was blood stain on every part of her body…
As she saw me she burst into tears and hugged me…
‘I’m so sorry’..she said and kissed my cheek…
‘sorry for what?!!..what is happening baby?!’..I asked in a tensed tone…..
‘he’s dead’..
‘who is dead?!’…
She broke into loud sobs again…
‘Who is dead Hae rah?!!!’..I said shaking her roughly…
‘it’s…. it’s..’…
‘its who Hae rah please tell me?!!!!!’..I said…
‘your father!!!!..Your father was shot dead ji soo!!!’..she screamed and fell to the ground…
The words ‘your father’ echoed in my head as tears streamed down my cheeks…
My father is dead?!!..
My father is dead…
‘I’m so sorry ji!!!’..she said holding my hands…
‘is he really dead?!’..I heard a squeaky voice behind me and realized that Baby soo was there…
‘daddy has gone to see jesus for a business proposal baby soo’..I said and Hae rah lifted her up and carried her inside the house…
she turned back and looked at me…
‘I’m here for you, it’s going to be okay’..she said and I nodded..
I doubt if everything is going to be okay from now on…
I slowly walked to the wrapped body and there he was…
lifeless,cold,dead…
‘Appa!!!!…appa!!!!..wake up!!!’..I screamed in tears holding his dead body …
I didn’t care about the blood I just wanted him to wake up…
‘its okay mister’..the officer said trying to pull me away from the body…
I punched his face and ran back to my dad…
‘wake up you bastard!!!..you have a meeting tomorrow!!!’..I cried louder…
The gardeners,the maids and all the staffs just stood there watching the drama in tears…
Then I felt a sharp pain on my hands….
Slowly things became blur…
Slowly..
slowly.
I drifted into unconsciousness…
BABY SOO’S POV
Noona carried me sulkily to the kitchen and locked all doors…
‘hot cocoa?’..she asked…
I looked away in tears..
‘i want my daddy!!!!’..I screamed in tears and threw a mug in anger…
she looked at me and started crying also…
‘anger won’t solve it baby soo,your daddy won’t come back,you have to be strong for Oppa,he really needs us my love’..she said and hugged me tight…
Together we cried in each others arms for a while until I stopped.
she cleaned my tears and smiled a little…
‘let me tell you a story’..she said and I sat up..
‘my dad also died when I was twelve and do you know what I almost did?’..
‘what?’..I asked..
‘i almost killed myself, I wanted to jump off a window but then a voice came to my head and told me something’..
‘what did the voice say??’..
She smiled..
‘well the voice said…Hae rah don’t be stupid…your mommy needs you…the world needs you…you have to be strong for the good of others’…
When she. said those words it dawned on me…
I have to be strong for my brother .
that’s what a good sister would do…
‘thanks Noona…I love you’..
‘i love you too baby..now let’s go to bed shall we?’..she said and carried me in her arms…
JI SOO’S POV
THE NEXT MORNING
I woke up feeling kind of dizzy…
the last thing I remembered was that I was near my dad’s body..
Hae rah came into the room with a tray of food and hot coffee…
‘good morning’…she said…
‘what happened?’..I asked not even bothering to answer her greeting…
‘you passed out…well the officers shot you with a tranquilizer to calm you down’..she said and sat next to me and lifting the cup towards me…
‘coffee??’..she asked and I nodded then took the cup from her ..
I tried to stand up but I felt a sharp pain run through my spine…
‘ahhh’..I screamed and she eased me back into the bed..
‘you’re going no where Mr….you’re sick so please stay in for just today’…
‘but…but…but’..
‘No buts …I’ve taken care of everything Ji soo…your dad’s body is in the morgue…baby soo is calm and still sleeping…Chan said he’s on his way and the I’ve given my statement…We going to find the killer Baby’..she said in tears…
‘don’t cry please ‘..I said cleaning her tears from her cheeks…
‘and oh Nam is in the hospital…I think he has a concussion.he was also hit last night’..she said and fed me the scrambled eggs…
I opened my mouth and ate slowly…
‘what would I do without you Hae rah?’..I said and she blushed…
‘its my duty as a wife’…
I pushed the tray aside and brought her to my chest and wrapped my arms around her…
‘i love you’…I said…
‘i love you too’..she replied and I pressed a kiss to her forehead..
