THE NEXT DAY
Gray was in a business meeting while Elena waited for him in the office and also planning how to get his hair.
She checked her wrist watch and saw that he would be back any minute.
She started working on the files he had given her before she left.
When she tried saving some documents, her computer started misbehaving. She stood up and went to Gray’s table then started using his own.
She was so engrossed in her work that she didn’t know when Gray came in.
He stood and watched her for a while with a smile on his face. He cleared his throat, and that drew her attention.
“Do you like my desk this much?” He teased.
“Urm… I was working when my system malfunctioned. I decided to use yours.” She said and saved the last one.
“Without my permission right?” He eyed her.
“I’m already done, no need to get pissed off okay?” She smiled.
“Using my laptop, my desk, and using my chair isn’t for free, you know. How are you going to pay me back?” He asked and she gulped.
She wanted to run away when her suit jacket got stuck in his locker. She tried pulling it but couldn’t.
Gray laughed and went to help her. “Let me help you with that.” He tried removing it while she held onto his shoulders to prevent her from falling.
His face was so close to hers that she could see his full features.
He got more handsome was all she was thinking. Her eyes went to his lips and she was tempted to do what Lucas had told her.
He finally freed her and looked into her eyes. “All done!” He said and licked his lips, tempting her more.
She had no choice but to kss him. She held his shoulders tighter and slammed her lips on his.
Gray was startled! What just happened? Why did she kiss him and why is he finding it hard to pvsh her away? Why does this feel so familiar? He wanted to push her away but his body didn’t want that.
He didn’t know when he gave in and kssed her back. Elena wrapped her hands around his neck and took a strand of his hair.
The office door opened and Camille entered. She had decided to come into the company to see if Elena was fired but what she saw infuriated her.
Elena saw her and deepened the kss. Camille got angry and ran out. After she left, Elena stopped and smiled at him.
“Consider that as a thank you for your help and also for using your computer system, desk and chair.” She said and left the office with a huge smile on her face.
Gray touched his lips and smiled.

LATER THAT DAY
Lucas and Annabella had gone out when she came home. She took her bath, cooked food and made coffee.
Elena sat in the living room, sipping coffee from a mug. She looked happy and satisfied with herself. The door opened and Camille barged in furiously.
“Why would you do such a thing Elena?” Camille yelled.
“Well, someone doesn’t know how to knock before coming into other people’s houses.” Elena said and sips her coffee.
“That is not the answer to my question bch!” Camille snapped.
“Please, use your words carefully. It’s not nice to be rude, you know.” Elena smiled.
“Wh… What!” Camille was surprised. What was wrong with this lady for heaven’s sake? How can she be pretending when she knows exactly what she had done.
Elena snickered, she loved the look on Camille’s face. She is trying hard to stop herself from bursting into laughter right now.
“Is someone angry?” Elena chuckled.
“Of course I’m angry! I’m furious. You’re very annoying, do you know that?” Camille yelled.
“Wow! I’m annoying? That’s the best compliment I’ve had in years.” Elena smiled proudly.
Camille couldn’t believe her ears, is there no way she could get this lady angry? She has tried her possible best to get rid of this lady but she is proving stubborn.
She preferred Noel to this psycho. At least, she could still threaten Noel but this lady was a tough nut to crack.
“I can’t believe I’m saying this but you’re worst than Noel.” Camille sighed.
Elena looked at Camille then smiled widely. “I’m glad you noticed.”
“Jokes aside Elena, you know Gray is my fiance, why did you kiss him?” Camille asked.
“Your fiance? I didn’t see him proposing to you.” Elena answered.
“He hasn’t but he will. Besides, I’m carrying his son, his bIood.” Camille smiled.
“That’s none of my business and there is nothing wrong with me kssing him.” Elena said.
“Why if I may ask?” Camille asked.
“Because I love him.” Elena blurted out.
Camille’s expression darkened immediately. That was too straightforward, this lady was something else.
“And you have the guts to say that?” Camille asked, balling her fists.
“Yeah, I have a right to say that and you know why? Because he hasn’t marked you as his fiancee yet so he is still single which means I still have a chance with him.” Elena smirked.
“You’re a bch!” Camille spat out, not knowing what to do or say to anger her.
Elena stood up and walked over to where Camille stood, then looked her straight in the eyes.
“I want you to mark today because I want you to remember everything I’m about to say now,” She paused for a while before proceeding. “Noel is dead, Gray is heartbroken then you used that heartbreak against him and made his life h’ll on Earth.
Now, you want him to propose to you? Mark my words today, I am going to take Gray away from you, I won’t let you get that happiness you badly want.”
“Elena_”
“Shut up! I’m not done talking, I’m giving you two months to back out of this Camille else I won’t be too lenient with you, I will make sure you suffer and die a terrible de.ath because trust me when I say, bIood will flow.”
