Mrs. Claire, Alexa, Bryan, Erica and all the entire chiefs could be seen in the wide feild.
The whole villagers was seen surrounding the big field while The Priest, King Williams and Queen Williams was sitting on the floor, bare-footed and was chained.
Three gaurd stood beside them.
The whole field was quiet until The senior chief spoke up.
“My great people of ‘Fell Hills’. We’re so much gratefull to our Lovely Alexa here who brought freedom back to our land despite the way we maltreated her some months ago and also to Erica here. Though she’s from Atlancia but she saved us. I’m thinking of cancelling the law that states that anyone living in Atlancia should be killed if found in Earth but nevertheless, that will be later.”
“So guys, all the evil thing they’ve done, we’ve dicided to pass judgement to them” the senior priest pointed out.
“Yes, they need to be punished!” the crowd yelled.
“We’ve dicided that Alexa would be the one to judge them so let us pay attention to Alexa now” The senior chief instructed and all eyes went to Alexa.
Alexa fixed his gaze at The Priest while the Priest spare her a glance and turned his face quickly.
“I Don’t know the kind of punishment to give to you right now because you’ve done worse than i can imangie. You’ve bitten more than you can chew and you deserve more than death” Alexa blurted out the crowd hailed her.
The Priest huffed like she wasn’t talking to him.
“But before i say anything, i’ll like to know all the secret corcerning me and the people” Alexa demanded with a straight face.
“Who told you i have a secret corcerning me and the people? I think you’re drunk!” The Priest retorted as he glared at Alexa.
“Don’t let me repeat myself, man… What secret do you have corcerning me and my people?” Alexa snarled and squarted beside the Priest, staring at him eyeball to eyeball.
“I’ve told you the truth that i don’t have any secret corcerning the people, what then do you want me to say?” The Priest snapped and Alexa withrew her face.
“Oh, i see” Alexa uttered and suddenly, bunch of water appeared and the water turned into a knife.
The crowd was amazed at the scene.
The held the knife and placed the tip on the The Priest’s arm. The same place where Erica struck the sword.
The Priest winced in pain when he felt some pain at the injury that was already drying up.
“Don’t let me do this.. Don’t let me make this injury more fresher… I don’t feel like doing this but if you’re not ready to answer my question, i’ll be forced to do it” Alexa threatened.
“What secrets do you have corcerning me and the people?” She thundered.
“I’ll speak up.. I’ll speak up” The Priest forced the word out of his mouth.
He wasn’t ready to face the same pain he felt yesterday. He’d rather spill the beans because he knew that they’ll still kill him.
“Alexa was never the cause of the chaos in the land.” he blasted and the crowd gasped.
?I Knew it.. I knew she was innocent but i was afraid to speak up so i won’t be killed?
?Go$h! She was innocent all this while and we’ve been maltreating her all these while. Fk!?
The crowd mumuring could be heard.
The whole chiefs was shocked on what they heard.
Alexa flinched a little and then she remembered what the old woman told her the other time; “Your Kingdom is living in Secrets and Lies. The truth is in you” the word echoed in her ear and she turned her gaze back to the priest.
“Continue”
“I Was the one who did it. I siezed the rain with my power, i used my powers to make sure all the whole crops in our land die and i went too far by laying a sickness on King Ethan” he stated and the crowd gasped.
Alexa jaws dropped on hearing it.
He was the one…
Oh God!!
“I Saw Alexa’s future shinning bright and i discovered that she had a great future. I Had to lie to the whole chiefs that it was as a result of Alexa’s birth that all the bad things was happening. When i notice she refused to die, i had to send her to Atlancia because i was ? sure she wasn’t going to survive but unfortunately, she returned with power and i was defeated” He narrated and the crowd flinched.
?OMG!!! He’s too evil. Can’t believe he did all this?
?This is really pathetic! I wish i could $trangle him with my hand? One of the villagers said.
Alexa got angry and slapped him hard on her face.
“Why? Tell me, why did you do all this? What did you benefit?” Alexa snarled.
“I Did everything because i wanted to be respected. I wanted the fame and everyone to bow down to me. I want both the king and all the chiefs to obey me. That was what i wanted” The Priest stated and Alexa laughed dryly.
“Now, have you gotten what you wanted?” Alexa asked but The Priest was mute.
“You have the guts to sxu.ally m©lest my mom. You threaten to keep the baby in her womb forever if she don’t let you have her way. You have a dark heart and i’ll make sure you regret your actions” Alexa thundered.
“You’ll suffer 10 times more of what i suffered. Everyone will treat you the way they treat me. You’ll be everyone’s punching bag. That will be your punishment untill you die” Alexa announced and The Priest frozed.
“Oh no! Alexa, you can’t do that to me. Just kill me, it will be better if i die, please” The Priest pleaded, with tears threatening to fall from his eyes.
“What are you guys waiting for? Take him away” Alexa commanded and two of the five gaurds took him away.
“No… Alexa… Don’t do…” his voice trailed off as they took him away.
As they took him away, some of the villagers ran after them, hitting the Priest.
Alexa took in a deep breath and turned to King Williams.
“Why did you agree to join The Priest in getting rid of my father?” Alexa asked.
“Your father is a Poro man. He acted like a woman seventeen years ago. He killed my only daughter becatse a woman lay a false accusation on me that i killed her daughter which i never did.
Your father didn’t bother to look into the matter, he took my daughter and threw her into the river using his favourite slang; “a life for a life”
I Vowed to revenge and i did it through the help of the priest. I never wanted to maltreat the people but the Priest forced me to do it” King Williams explained.
“Hmm. This is serious. You’re still gonna be punished but it won’t be severe” Alexa pointed out.
“I Know already” he replied.
“You have been setenced to 5 months in the dungeon with…” Alexa couldn’t complete her statement when a familiar voice cutted in.
“I Don’t see any reason why you’ll want to kill your father?” A Voice said and Alexa turned swiftly and spotted her.
