NICHOLAS’S MANSION**
Brittany stood by the balcony as she watched the beautiful sunset. She chuckled again when she remember what she did to Hailey.
“That’s just the beginning Hailey, wait till tomorrow. You’ll receive another shocking surprise” She thought.
“Baby..”
Brittany turned and smiled as Kaylee came closer to her. She hugged her as they continued watching the sunset.
“Mom..” Brittany suddenly called and Kaylee looked at her.
“How did you survive.. I mean, what really happened.”
“Well it was when you were 6. Oliver told me he cheated on me and that resulted to Valerie, she was still 5 back then.
I was really heartbroken and what hurts more was that he cheated on me with Hailey, she was just like a sister to me..
Well after a long while, I decided to forgive everyone and I was willing to take in Valerie and raised her like my own but Hailey refused to.
Since I’m a doctor by profession, I was coming back from work when suddenly I got ambushed. I was shocked to see Hailey was among them.
I watched her as she smiled at me and then pulled the trlgger at me and she set my car on fire.
After that, everything became blank in my head. I just remembered I woke up in prison..
The people there said I was brought there because at that very period there was a fire accident and many people escaped, maybe they mistook me for one of them because due to the fire, half of my face was gravely injured…
Looks like they also mistook me for my lookalike who was a prisoner and that earned me 20 years in prison.
I think that lookalike died and that’s the person you buried instead of me…
And that’s how it was till Reagan and Paula were brought to my cell and then you” Kaylee narrated.
“Wow… This is insane” Brittany breathed out.
“But all that matters is that I get to hold you in my arms again” Kaylee said.
Brittany nodded and hugged her tighter..
“Mom, I want you to have all of dad’s properties” Brittany said.
“Huh? What?”
“Yes.. Dad was your husband, I’m sure if he knew you were alive he could have given all of his properties to you..
The villa was a place you had loving memories with dad and you two worked really hard together to achieve all we have now…
If anyone should be deserving of all these then it’s you mom” Brittany said.
Kaylee smiled and kssed her hair..
“Must you be this cute” She said.
“Cuteness runs in the family” Brittany chuckled and Kaylee laughed.
Nicholas who was standing by the door smiled while watching them..

“Girlfriend? Really?! Why would you lie to your sister!” Reagan snapped
This time Zayne was sitting on the bed with the pillow supporting his back..
“Did you prefer I call you a friend?” Zayne said
Reagan clamped her lips together. Yes, it’s true that she won’t feel too good if he called her a friend.
“See? Besides why act like you’re annoyed when you literally want me” Zayne said and ran his hands through his hair.
“I didn’t say that!!” Reagan snapped.
“Should I remind you of our encounter.. At the supermarket?” Zayne smirked.
