Brittany angrily ran her hands through her hair.
“Wow! Never knew Brittany can get jealous” Nicholas laughed and stood up.
“Don’t talk to me” Brittany barked and made to leave but Nicholas pulled her back.
“Hey.. You heard what I told the cop right? She nearly drugged me.
Luckily I saw her putting something in my coffee.” Nicholas said.
“But you allowed her touch you and she saw your tattoo and your bare upper body” Brittany glared at him.
“I’m sorry love.. I promise I won’t let anyone else see it except you” Nicholas said and Brittany rolled her eyes.
“I came because I wanted to tell you two important things. One is about you and the other is about me” Brittany said, still frowning.
“Okay but first,, do you forgive me?” Nicholas asked.
“I’ll think about it. Come let’s go” Brittany rolled her eyes and made to leave.
She opened the door and made to leave but Nicholas pulled her back in, pinning her on the door.
He stared at her intently while his hand brushed her lips.
Brittany looked at him in the eyes and then at his lips before looking away.
Nicholas made her face him and smiled..
“I’m sorry okay?” He whispered.
She finally smiled and nodded. Nicholas smiled and kssed her forehead before releasing her..

“Thanks a lot sir” Ruby smiled and walked out with her sachet of burger at hand.
She brought out her phone and began pressing it. She looked up and was surprised to see him coming out of a restaurant.
“Hey Zayne!” Ruby waved, coming closer.
“Oh hi” Zayne replied.
“It’s been awhile I last saw you. Thought you traveled” Zayne said as they walked next to each other.
“Oh well yeah.. Since I lost my job, I found a new job as a model in a small company which is quite far from here. I can take you there if you want” Ruby said.
“Sure that’ll be another time though” Zayne said.
What followed was silence.
“So how have you been?” Ruby asked and Zayne just shrugged.
“Single as usual” Zayne said.
“Sorry” Ruby chuckled.
“But you can fill in the gap if you want” Zayne leaned to her ear and whispered.
“Stop that” Ruby smiled.
“What I’m-”
“Zayne!!!”
They both turned to where the voice was coming from and Zayne sighed at who it was..
For some reasons, he doesn’t like mingling with her.
Reagan began running towards him and made to cross the road without looking. Zayne’s eyes widened when he saw a car coming to her.
“Watch out!!” Zayne pushed her away.
They both fell and Reagan sprained her ankle in the process. Zayne lifted himself up from her, checking her out.
“Are you okay?” He asked.
“I guess..”

“What’s wrong with you!! Do you realize you almost got h!t by a car” Zayne scolded her and she looked down.
Ruby crossed the road and came to them.
“Gosh!! Are you two okay?” Ruby asked and Reagan nodded.
“I’m sorry.. I didn’t see the car coming” Reagan said.

“Thanks for saving me..” Reagan said and made to stand up.
“Ouch!!” She yelped and fell back on the ground.
“My ankle” She winced..
“Why me..” Zayne pinched his brows and shook his head.
Ruby chuckled.
“So I’ll leave you two. I need to go somewhere, bye handsome!!” Ruby said

“Sure.. Bye pretty!!” Zayne winked and Ruby left.
Regan took in her lips when Zayne called Ruby pretty.
A gasp escaped her lips when she felt herself being lifted up from the ground.
Her hand went round his neck as Zayne balanced her well. His car wasn’t far from there so he began walking away with her in his arms.
Reagan stared at him as she blushed cutely..

After Brittany finished telling Nicholas the first thing she had to tell him, what reigned at the moment was silence.
Nicholas’s eyes was wide open as if it’ll pop out any minute from now.
It all makes sense to him now.
He looked at Brittany with wide eyes and gulped down nothing.
“Xavier…isn’t my father?”
