Rhett looked at her and suddenly stopped. Jessica stopped too since he was holding her hand. She faced him.
“Listen…” Rhett held her waist and smiled.
“I love you and only you, I have eyes only for you and if I’m asked to choose I’ll choose you over and over.
I don’t want another person getting in between our love.. If you feel you aren’t comfortable with me being around Luna then I’ll just-”
“No it’s okay, she’s your friend and I don’t want to ruin that.. Maybe it’s just me over thinking” Jessica said and smiled.
“Are you sure?” Rhett asked and Jessica nodded while smiling.
She cupped his cheek and kssed his lips shortly..
“God really sent you to me..” Jessica said.
Rhett smiled and wore his coat on her since places was getting cold.
“I sent mom to a vacation in her cousin’s house for a week. Will you mind sleeping over for tonight?” Rhett asked and she quickly nodded.
“I’ll love to. Let me inform Granny I won’t be coming home” Jessica smiled and brought out her phone.

“Really? Are you sure about that?”
“Oh okay.. Take Care okay? Tell Rhett to treat you well!” Gracie said and hung up..
She sighed and kept the phone.
“Guess I’ll spent the night alone” Gracie muttered.
Jessica just called to tell her that she won’t be coming home and Nicholas just came to pick Brittany up for a date which she’s sure she won’t be coming home tonight..
“I hope you two be happy.. Especially you Britt,, life really was unfair to you” Gracie said inwardly.
She left for her room.
Alex is already sleeping while Angel is doing her homework.
Angel sighed for the uptenth time and turned to glare at Alex who was making so much noise by snoring.
She faced back her books and continued her homework.
“I’ll stick to my promise aunt Brittany. I’ll be the best in my class” Angel said inwardly as she wrote on her notebook.

OUTSKIRT OF THE CITY**
“The view from here is really beautiful right?” Nicholas asked.
“Yeah” Brittany smiled staring at Mexico city which from there looked like many twinkly stars.
She looked at Nicholas who has been staring at her ever since. Brittany smiled and looked away.
“You know, the view is in front of you…not on me” Brittany said.
“I prefer the view that I’m seeing right now” He muttered and came closer.
Brittany turned to him and stared at his lips before filling the space between them. Nicholas held her cheek as he scked on her lower lips tenderly.
Their to.ngues met and Brittany felt butterflies in her tummy. They broke the kss shortly, resting their foreheads on each other..
“I love you” Nicholas breathed out.
“Just give me time.. Time to remove this fear in my heart and I’ll love you as much you do” Brittany said sincerely.
Nicholas opened his eyes and kssed her forehead.
“I’ll wait..” He smiled and held her hands which were so tiny compared to his.
“So let’s use this small time we have left here to know each other more better.
Let’s ask each other random question about ourselves” Nicholas said and Brittany nodded.
“So I’ll start.. What’s your favorite meal?” Brittany asked.
“I have none.. So long as I eat, then I’m good” Nicholas said while playing with Brittany’s hands.
Brittany chuckled.
“Well for me its pasta” Brittany said.
“Alright.. What’s your ideal type in a guy?” Nicholas asked.
“Well a man who loves me and also whom I feel comfortable being with. What about you?” Brittany said and Nicholas smiled.
“My ideal type is you”
“Seriously?” Brittany laughed..
“Okay.. So when’s your birthday?” Brittany asked.
“Well I don’t longer celebrate my birthday since my mom díed. It’s on the 10th of January” Nicholas said.
