Mr Ryan’s Pov:
I picked up the picture in surprise.
Isn’t this Julia’s picture?
What is it doing inside my suitcase?
I stared at the picture keenly.
Aww…. ?
She’s really very beautiful I must confess…
The sparkling white set of teeth….
She’s super cute.
She’s not only beautiful, she’s got a good heart and soul.
I didn’t stop staring at the picture.
Ella’s words rushed back into my memories..
?I want aunt Julia for you… ? I chuckled.
Julia is really an angel…
She made my little sad daughter whole and happy.
I continued thinking about her the whole day.
I couldn’t get my mind off her.

I was lost in thought starring at the window absentminded when Gael walked in.
“Here are the files man!” He said as he kept a document on the table.
I didn’t even notice his presence cos I was lost in thought and smiling at nothing in particular.
“Dude….hey!” Gael said but I was still not paying attention.
“What the hell is up with this guy?” Gael said to himself.
“Hey! Ryan!” Gael snapped and that jerked me out of my thoughts.
“Oh… Uhmm…. What… What is it?” He asked anxiously stammering.
“Oh really? Did you realize that I’ve been here calling you for the past ten minutes?” Gael frowned
“Oh… Am sorry about that! Is it about the files and…” I said trying to concentrate.
Gael scoffed.
“Cut that crap! Come on tell me Ryan what’s up with you lately?” Gael asked giving me a you-are-hiding-something look.
“It’s nothing! What are you talking about?” I snorted
“Oh man! Since the look is so obvious then there is no need to lie” Gael said as I smiled broadly.
I really need to let the cat out of the bag.
“It’s my daughter’s nanny…” I said rolling my eyes.
“Yes… What happened to her?” Gael asked
“Nothing! I just thought of her now” I said
“Really? You thought of her? Well I thought you said she’s a thief and that you’re gonna throw her outta your house?” Gael asked as I shook my head.
“She didn’t actually do it! It was Betty… She plotted the fking trap” I said
“What? My goodness! That is cruel” Gael said.
I nodded my head as I looked at Julia’s picture in my drawer and smiled happily.
Gael looked at me puzzled… He’s actually not seeing the pictures.
“Why are you smiling?” Gael asked anxiously
“You’ve given me the files right? You can go now!” I said
Gael snorted and got up to leave but he cunningly rushed back and snatched the picture from me.
“Give me that Gael! I said give me that!” I shouted at him and snatched it from him again.
Gael burst into laughter.
You’re surprised right?
Well Gael and I are best of friends and childhood friends too.
So we are always like that even during work hours.
“Oh my gosh! Don’t tell me you are in love with your daughter’s nanny?” Gael said still laughing.
“I like her..” I said as Gael raised his eyebrows in shock.
Julia’s Pov:
I was at the kitchen baking cupcakes for my little girl.
I glanced at the wall clock at the other edge.
It was already past two pm.
I know my Ella will be back in no time.
I know how much she likes cupcakes…..
They are her favorite so she always takes it as a dessert.
Just then, I heard a shrieking scream…
My baby girl is back.
I smiled broadly as she rushed into the kitchen.
“Aunt Julia….” She screamed in delight as she hugged me.
She was holding an ice cream.
I frowned my face at her on seeing the cup of ice cream she was licking.
She bowed her head in guilty.
“Am sorry nanny!” She said feeling sorry
“Haven’t I told you to stop taking ice cream whenever the weather is cold? Why did you do that?” I asked anxiously
“I was thirsty nanny! But I promise I won’t do it again” She said drawing her ears.
“Don’t do that again OK!” I warned as she nodded her head and hugged me.
I smiled broadly as I patted her hair.
She’s so adorable….
“Go on now Ella! Go upstairs to your room and change your clothes, I’ll be there in a jiffy with the cupcakes” I said
“Yummy! ?” She chuckled as she rushed out of the kitchen.
That girl is really something.
**
I was done making the cupcakes and we were already eating it with our glasses of juice.
“You are the best cook nanny!” She said as she ate her cakes happily humming.
I burst into laughter…
“Really? Am flattered!” I blushed.
“No need nanny! It’s just true….” She said and I smiled.
We didn’t say any more word until she broke the silence.
“Aunt Julia do you have a boyfriend?” She asked loudly as my eyes popped out of its socket in shock.
I quickly covered her mouth with my palms and she chuckled.
“Shhh… You shouldn’t be saying such things” I said whispering
“Why is that nanny?” She asked
“Because you are still too young to talk about such things” I said as she nodded
“But nanny…. Do you?” She asked
I turned my face away and smiled.
“Oh no… I…. I don’t” I stammered
“Yeeeeeeeee……” She jumped on her feet.
“Why are you so happy?” I asked anxiously
“Nanny! I know you like my dad so you have my permission he can be your boyfriend” She shrieked in excitement as I gasped.
Betty’s Pov:
I lay on the bed lonely and sulking.
For the past few days, everyone hates me to scorn.
And am being treated like I was a freaking plague.
Ryan walked into the room and kept his suitcase.
He didn’t even bother talking to me.
“Welcome home Ryan!” I managed to say but he paid me a deaf ear.
He changed into another comfortable clothes and walked away.
Tears rolled down my face.
I quickly got up to pick up my cell phone from the drawer.
Suddenly, Ryan’s suitcase fell on the ground.
I carried it up and that was when it mistakenly opened and something fell out from the suitcase.
I picked it up!
It was Julia’s picture.
My jaw dropped…..
