After I sued Mike to court, Cynthia, Mike’s wife evaded with all the money in Mike’s account.
Mike didn’t know that Cynthia had a secret lover and it was a plan between them to flee with his money.
My mother in-law was really dumbfounded as she was the source of all the problems that was happening.
She regretted her actions and initially she begged me not to sue mike to court but Looking at Ken’s condition and what I had suffered,I just couldn’t.
Ken’s right leg was shattered with bullets and his head was pierced with an axe. Ken was very unconscious as he stay on coma for over one month before opening his eyes.
When Ken opened his eyes,I hugged his tightly and kissed his passionately because he was going through all these pains because of me.
Ken cried in deep throat when I hugged him and he shouted.
“Oh! I’ve suffered”
“Sorry Darling, you’ll be fine” I responded.
Don’t worry my dear! I promised you that I will always be by your side and I’ll never let you go no matter the condition.
You’ve really gone through a lot of distresses in the hands of my elder brother and I promise to always make you happy. “Ken said all these with teary eyes”.
Hearing these words from Ken gave me hope and I wished he was my husband.
Though I still loved Mike,but I can never go back to him.
I’ll make sure he spend the rest of his life in jail so that in his next life,he’ll learn his lessons.
I left the hospital and I went to my barrister’s chamber because the day of the case was fast approaching.
He confided in me that I’ll win the case and I was on cloud nine.
