CHAPTER THIRTEEN
THE NEXT DAY
Scott.

I opened my eyes hearing the sound of my phone ringing next to my bed. Her head was resting on my left arm as I sit up and answered the call. It’s from mom, Jessica immediately understands the caller as she kept quiet.
“Mom.”
“Good morning son, how was your night?.” She asked sounding excited.
“Fine mom and yours?.”
“Very good dear. You didn’t inform us you and your wife weren’t gonna come home yesterday.”
“Sorry mom. We both thought we needed to be alone together so we are presently in one of my penthouses.
“Oh I understand dear.” She chuckled softly. “So when are you two coming?.”
Fk!. Can’t she leave i and that bch alone?. I was intending to stay here for a week and have fun before i’ll go home acting like a responsible person, something I so much hate.
Yeah….you might think why can’t I just live here but I can’t cause it might upset mom. She wanna see me every time especially now that she is around.
“When are you two coming?.” She asks again, yeah she sounds happy and excited.
“Uhm…today.” I forced myself to say.
“Wow. That’s nice. We will be expecting you two and by the way, can i speak with her?. She’s beside you, right?. I mean, since it’s pretty early, you two should still be in bed.”
Oh….dmn!. I and Jessica looked at ourselves simultaneously..
“Uhm yeah, she’s with me.” I lied.
“Give her the phone then!. Let me speak to her.”
“You can’t mom.” I snapped.
“Why?. Is everything okay?.”
“Yes….I mean, she’s still asleep and she’s very tired.” I say in form of a whisper.
“Oh…ok. I totally understand dear. Tell my beautiful daughter in law i asked for her when she’s fully awake.”
“Alright mom.” I say, if mom is here with us, I would have forced a smile at her.
“Okay, bye then.”
“Bye.” I tell hanging up.
“You’re leaving?.” Asked Jessica.
“Yeah.” I rise up to my feet.
“But what about us?.” She asks removing the blanket from her revealing her body .

“But what about us?.”
He turns swiftly and looked at me, a small smirk formed on his hot lips. “Us?.” He asks as i felt a sting in my chest.
“Yeah, us.” I repeat with a nervous laugh.
“Jessica, there is no us. There’s nothing between us other than have sx and pay you.” He tells boldly.
“But…”
“It’s time you leave Jess and as usual, I’ll give you a call whenever i need ya.”
“Okay.”
Tears is already forming at the corner of my eyes, i faked a smile and stood up to pick my clothes.
He nods as he went to the bathroom.
Nothing hurts more than Scott telling me we’re nothing but sx mate. Although it’s true but it….hurts so much.
It wasn’t really my intention to be what I am today. It all started when i was eighteen, I always had the love for modeling, I was a teen full of many dreams.
I told mom about it and she agreed on it wholeheartedly but when i informed my dad, he was so mad at me for thinking to be a model. He believed every models are nothing but wh’res.
Mom would always beg father to accept my decision but the more we talk to him about it, the more he gets really furious.
One fateful night, father came back home late extremely drunk. It seemed he got into a fight on his way home cause he had a minor injury. Mom wasn’t at home, so i tried in calming him down.
Usually whenever he’s drunk and mom’s home, i would make sure i lock myself in my room and not come out cause father could be very v’olent at times.
At that moment when I was trying to keep him calm, he…..he…rapped me. I was a vrgn, so scared and surprised. I mean who would expect such from a father?.
He threatened me not to inform mom about what happened between us the next day and….i obeyed because I was super frightened of him.
He didn’t just stop there. Every night, whenever mom’s asleep, he’d always sneak into my room and have sx with me without my will. I became helpless, no one to talk to. I had no friends, I couldn’t even tell mom cause of his warnings.
Finally, I built up the courage in me to face mom and tell her everything that has been going on behind her back. I was sick of being silent and used like a sx toy by my father, so I headed towards her room.
As I was about to knock on her room door, I heard noises. It was mom and dad. I didn’t expect father could be at home at that moment but what shocked me the most was their conversation.
I was eavesdropping, father complained to mom about me. He said he was tired of seeing me everyday cause i was spoilt and don’t usually obey him which wasn’t true. Mom tried her best to apologize on my behalf by saying I am their daughter, he shouldn’t be mad at me.
The reply he gave mom broke my heart. He said I wasn’t their child and will never be. Yeah, i am a ba$tard. Turned out he wasn’t really my real dad. That explained why he held no emotions when he took advantage of me.
I ran away from home and never came back. I began living in the street, life was really hard for me until a stranger took me in. And elderly rich woman who train girls to being a pro$titute and that’s how my life as a wh’re began.
Am not really ashamed of my job, I can say that boldly to anyone. I am me, that’s what matters…
Right?.

Of course I could perceive the smell of awkwardness as he drives us to his other house. Earlier, he told me his mom misses us. He also warned me to do my job well immediately we arrived there…blah blah blah.
Although, I don’t care about the silence but I really need to break it. I wanted to talk to him concerning my mom, I have missed her so much. Am so worried cause I haven’t heard from her since her surgery.
His cold look almost made me want to hesitate to speak but I did it anyways.
“Sir….” I voiced out low. One could easily detect how scared i sounded.
“What?.” He asked harshly not even sparing me a glance.
“Uhm..I…I….” I stuttered.
“Riley, you ain’t blind right?.” He snapped making me flinch.
“No.” I answered.
“You do realize am driving so voice out whatever sht you wanna say.” He tells.
Oh Gosh…..
“My….mom. Can i pay her a visit?.”
“Not yet.” He says in his deep terrifying voice.
What??!.
“But why?.” I asked.
“And how am I supposed to know if you ain’t trying to mess with me Riley?.”
“I won’t. I just want to see my mom.” I sniffed.
“Your mom or whatever, I don’t give a fk about that. Don’t make me keep reminding you that you’re now my wife for six months. You do whatever I command you to do!!. Do I make myself clear?!..” He snapped at me giving me a straight face.
“Yes.” I nod burning with range inside of me. How did my life turn to this???. I bit the side of my cheek, trying to control my tears.
“Very good.” He smirked.

He branched at the mall to buy me things like clothes, shoes, jewelries and lots more. Lot of people stared at us, some even looked so envious of us seeing us as good, lucky couples.
They seriously do not know what am facing in the hands of that monster. And yeah of course, Scott acted like a generous man, he made sure he locked our hands together as he selected the things he bought for me.
I realized one thing. When it comes to acting, Scott is very good at it.

Maids approached us immediately we stepped out from the car. They greeted us with respect and helped in carrying the things we bought in. He held my wrist as we also walked in.
His mom hugged us when she sighted us. “Riley, my dear.” She kissed my cheeks with a bright smile.
At least his mom is nice….
“We have been expecting you two, how are you my dear?.” She asks me.
“Am fine mom.” I smile.
To be sincere, am not even fine. I feel sick inside everyday.
“That’s awesome, come let’s have breakfast. We waited for the both of you.” She says.
“Thanks mom.” Scott chuckled.
We walked to the huge dinning room, very beautiful and bit classy. Two ladies were seated on the dining chair when we reached there, looks like his sisters.
“Hi, am Yuri. Scott’s elder sister, Welcome to our family.” Yuri says, stretching out her hands.
“Nice to meet you ma’am. Thank you.” I say receiving her hands.
She smiled nodding in response. I glimpsed at his other sister. She didn’t even look up at me, her attention is on her phone.
The maids dished out our food as we began eating. Dining with his family, gosh i seriously can’t explain how nervous I am. I just faced my meal trying not to pick at it.
“Scott, how’s business doing?.” His mother began a conversation.
“Uhm fine mom.” He replies.
“Wow, am glad.” She smiled.
Well, his mother loves smiling a lot but Scott is opposite. I wonder where he got that habit from, maybe his dad. Who knows…
“Tonia, can you for once put down that.” Scott tells his sister that’s busy with her phone.
“Don’t tell me what to do dkhead.” She says with a scornful look.
Okay….she’s also rude like Scott, not surprised. She seems like my age mate tho.
Scott clenched his fist and gave her a very creepy look. His mom noticed it and faced Tonia.
“Do what your elder brother said Tonia.”
“Fine, whatever.” She rolled her eyes and obeyed.
His mom clears her throat and faced me. “How is the food Riley?.”
“Uhm it’s..fine.” I replied.
Yeah….am in for it. I can’t still believe am gonna live in this house for six months while my mom is out there. Am s¢rewed!.
