“Well, thank you so much Riley. For making my dream come true, oh this is good news dear!!.”
What is she talking about??. Why is she thanking me??.
“What do you mean mom?.” I questioned looking at them confusedly.
She looked at Sister Yuri then at me still with a bright smile. “You’re pregnant Riley.” She said clearly.
What??!.. Did I hear her well???. Am….pregnant????.!. No.! It can’t be!!!. No! I can’t be pregnant for that d’vil!!!. God please let this be a dream!.
“Am…pregnant?.” I stammered asking to be sure of what i heard.
“Yeah, you’ll soon be a mother Riley.” Mother tells.
Oh God……this can’t be happening to me!!.
“Ain’t you happy?.” She asked as her smile faded slowly, she noticed how dull I looked. “Are you alright?.”
“Yes mom, am so so happy. I can’t wait for Scott to hear this good news.” I said. I quickly put on an excited look.
” same here. Congratulations Riley.”

When the doctor confirmed she was pregnant, I was extremely shocked cause i didn’t expect this contract could lead to what it is now, pregnancy. God…..what could have happened, why?. I thought Scott didn’t really mean this fake marriage at all, I never knew they both meant what mom said to them that day she said she needed a grand kid.
Oh God…..I don’t know but I feel really scared for Riley. I can see she isn’t happy about it all, she’s just pretending to be.
“Can she go home today doctor?.” Mom asked. Dmn, mom is very excited about this news. She had always wanted to be a grandma so I don’t blame her.
“Oh absolutely yes ma’am.” He said .
He faced Riley, who I guess is still very shocked. “Ma’am, please do not stress your self. Eat lots of healthy food and rest well cause of your unborn child. Alright?.”
“Uhm…okay. Thanks.” She smiled.
“Thank you doc.” Mom appreciated.
“You’re welcome, please do make sure she stays healthy.”
“I will.

Work was hectic today, I feel so exhausted. Even if my life is kind of rough, work is one thing I value so much. I got to learn that from father, a very hardworking man.
I switched on my phone as I got into my car, mom’s missed calls popped up on the screen. Fifteen missed calls???. Geez what’s up with her?., now this is the reason why I powered off my phone today so she wouldn’t disturb me, Good thing my phone was off tho. I wonder what could be so important that she wanted to say to me that she had to call fifteenth times.
Of course, I felt less worried cause am pretty sure she just wanted to ask me how work was.
I sighed and start the car, hitting the road.
It took me up to forty minutes to drive home. Maids approached me with greetings, i sighed mom and my siblings at the living room. Mom looked happy, she stood up to embrace me, I returned her hug even if I wasn’t expecting that from her.
“Congratulations son.” She said after we disengaged.
“For what mom.?” I chuckled.
“Being your mother, I feel so proud of you. Oh i how i wish your father is still alive to witness this, I wish he is here to give you a heartwarming hug and congratulate you for becoming a man.” She says getting emotional.
Okay …what the hell is she taking like this?. Whenever she involves father into any discussion, it means it’s something very important.
“Uhm….what happened mom?.” I asked as I glimpse at Sister Yuri and Tonia who just stared at us.
Mother smiled. “You’re about to be a father Scott.”
Huh????.
“What do you mean?.” I asked.
“Riley, your beautiful wife is pre.gnant.”
Say what now…..?. What!!!!?!!!!!!!!!!!. What the fk!!!?. That stupid bch is pre.gnant???, well I wasn’t expecting she would be pregnant…., am not even ready to be a father!.
“Wow..” My lips formed a small happy smile even if I don’t give a fk about it, am sure Sis. Yuri is aware of that.
“Yeah so proud of you!.” She hugged me.
“So where is my wife?.”
“Resting at your room.”
“Alright then.” I smirked. That bch!.
I excused myself and went upstairs to my bedroom. The door wasn’t locked so I entered angrily. She was lying on the bed just as mom said. She opened her eyes when she noticed my presence.
She sits up on the bed, “Welcome sir.” She greeted.
“You’re pregnant?.”
She bent her head low as she nodded slowly. “Yes.”
“Well that isn’t a problem.” I sincerely voiced out with a smirk.

I felt so weak when we left the hospital so I had to rest according to the doctor’s instruction. But….I still can’t believe am pregnant. I touched my tummy, I have a baby in me…God, I don’t know how to react to this. It pains me so much that Scott’s the father of my unborn child.
My soul almost left me immediately the door created open, I could tell it’s Scott cause am very much familiar with his cologne. I opened my eyes and sits up on the bed, gosh….he must have known about the pregnancy cause his look is very cold.
Oh God……
“Welcome sir.” I had to greet.
“You’re pre.gnant?.” He asked coldly, his voice deep enough to make one tremble in fear.
“Yes.” I replied in a tremulous voice.
“Well that isn’t a problem.” I heard.
What??!. I raised up my head and looked at him. Isn’t he mad…..?.
“Since my mother knows, you’re going to have to keep it.” He said staring elsewhere.
“Uhm…alright.” I stutter.
What is this?. He is taking really calm to me…. He moved close to me and sat on the bed, my heart raced in fear. I bent my head low in other not to look at him in his teak wood eyes, they are cute and at the same time terrifying.
He lifts my head up with his palms as he looked at me with a smirk, the kind that made me shiver. He leans his head close to mine, gosh I felt so weak to his touch.
“You’re gonna keep my child, I give you the grace of two months, after that you’ll go for an ab.ortion. I don’t want anything to do with you, get ready to get rid of that demon you’re carrying bch.” He whispered in my fears sending chills down my spine.
He pulled away from me leaving me shocked and speechless.
“Keep playing along to this game we created.” He smirked d’vilishly and stood up.
He looked at me like I am a piece of trash as he headed to the bathroom. I didn’t even realize I was already in tears, God…..what is this???.
What kind of man is this…..He raped me and now am gonna ab.ort the pregnancy???. His own bIood, God no!. I can’t kill an innocent child….I don’t want this!. I never wanted to be pre.gnant for him!!. For a man who has no feelings for me, who cares only about his reputation!.
