We arrived at the Dickson’s mansion a bit late cos we had a lot of preparation to do.

I called Nicky to inform her of our arrival and she came out to welcome us…
I didn’t even recognize her when she came out.
She was looking so rich and beautiful, she just came and already enjoying the Dickson’s wealth.

I was sitting on one of the guests table when Amber walked towards me.
“Hey charming” she said, she hasn’t changed one bit.
“Hi Amber. Its been a while I last saw you”,
“Yeah I travelled to France after highschool”
“Oh that’s true” and she sat on one of the chairs.
“So where’s your wife?”
“Wife? Sorry I’m not married”
“Yes you are. I thought we came here to welcome your wife”
“She’s not my wife yet, she’s just some random girl”
And she chuckled.
“Don’t tell me you’re still the cold hearted guy I’ve known you to be”
“Yeah!” I said and left.

“Attention please, the welcoming party is starting fully now. Please all guests to sit now and I want the soon to be couples to be on stage now ”

“Nicky, you and your husband should mount the stage now” I told her as she was busy with her family.
“Are you sure?” she asked
“Yeah… Hurry up” and I held her on her waist and led her to the stage.
Alfredo was already there, looking reluctant about the whole thing.
He wasn’t looking concerned at all.

“Thank you all for honoring our invitation, I and the Dickson’s family are really thankful for removing at least 3 hrs from your schedule to be here.
I’ll now let my son the supposed groom continue from here ”
I said and handed him the mic he took it and just gave it to the Master of ceremony and left…
