I kept pacing to and fro in the waiting room. Nicky had been in side the labour room for hours and not even a single cry of a baby had been heard.
She has been screaming non stop and it hurts to see her in such pain. My mind was kinda troubled, I kept thinking of some irrelevant stuffs like…..
“What if Nicky doesn’t make it”
“What if the child dies”?
“What if I lose both of them”?
I just couldn’t keep my mind at place. I’ve never been this frightened in my whole life.
Her family were seating on a different chair worried as I am, my mum,Jade,Abner and his wife were all sitting on another chair with a gloomy face.
Abner married to his secretary,Martyr 2 months ago and our family is complete except Noah’s still serving his jail terms…
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
That was another scream from her. Hearing her voice that way was really tearing me apart. It added to my worries and fear?
“Alfred, calm down. She’ll be fine” Abner said trying to cheer me up but that didn’t work this time.
Their words can’t cheer me up or take away my worries. I’ll be fine when only I hear the news of her safe delivery.

Labour room?
I was pushing as hard as I could but the baby wasn’t even coming out. I was feeling so much pain, the pain I was feeling just couldn’t be explained or defined.
I really wanted Alfredo here with me but I don’t think it would be possible. The doctor kept telling me to push but the more I tried the weaker I get.
I should have chosen operation but I’m scared of having my stomach cut and stitched back?
“Push madam…. You can do this” the female nurse said.
I held the bed tightly and pushed as hard as I could, I used the remaining strength I had to push….
“Keep pushing…” The male doctor said.
“Wa…. Wa… Water…. I need water pls” I muttered. I really need to boost my energy.
“Just try your best dear…. The baby is almost out”
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
I screamed and pushed one more time before I passed out ?

Oh Nicky… I wonder what pain she’s going through in there. I hope nothing happens to her or the child. I really wish her a safe delivery ????…. I hope she gives birth to this child unharmed.
Finally the door opened after hours and the doctor came out smiling and seeing that smile made me happy. Cos I knew they were smiles of good news.
“Doctor… Is everything okay?” Alfredo was the first to ask clutching on the doctors white lab coat.
“Everything is good. Congratulations Mr Alfredo Dickson. You’re now a proud fathers of quads”
“What? All boys right?”
“Nope with a girl”
“And my wife? She’s okay right?”
“She’s fine… Just tired”
“OMG”
“Wow”
“But we didn’t hear a cry of a child” Martyr asked with a smile on her face.
“Their cries wasn’t that loud enough. But both kids and mother are fine”
“Finally… Can we see them now?” My mum asked.
“Yes of course” and we all rushed inside the room at once.
Labour room?
The new mother was laying on the bed with her eyes closed. She must be really tired after all the energy she exhausted while trying to get the quads out of her young womb.
Alfredo rushed to her holding her hands tightly while kissing her. He must really be excited. The 4 healthy kids were on a crib lying closely to each other.
Jeez! They look just as adorable as their parents and they’re kinda identical. So beautiful?
Nicky gently opened her eyes slightly and a smile crossed her face…
“I did it right? The baby is alive right?” She asked faintly.
“Yes Darling you did. We have quads” Alfredo said and kissed her hand.
“All girls ain’t they?”
“Nah…. 3 boys and a Cinderella” he said and the smile on Nicky’s face beamed again.
“At least I still got to have a Cinderella?”
“Congratulations my dear” her mum said and kissed her cheek.
“They’re really beautiful my dear… Thank God you made it” my mum said and kssed her too.
“Congratulations Nicky” Abner said and hugged her.
“Thanks” she replied
“So what are you guys gonna name them?” One of her brothers asked.
“The girl would be called Cinderella” Nicky replied.
“And the boys?” Sarah asked.
“Craig, Curia and Charlie” Alfredo replied.
“Nope… I don’t like those names… I think,Christopher,Christi and Christoph is better” my mum said and Nicky smiled.
“Yeah that’s what we’ll call them” Nicky said.
“No…. The name I recommended for them is perfect”
“But Lame” I said.
“Alfredo maybe you’ll get to name the other kids”
“What other kids, I’m not gonna be in labour again. The pain is like death. It hurts” Nicky replied.
“Sorry about that my love. But I still want us to have triplets… 3 boys”
“Alfred? Do you wanna kill her? The four is enough” her mum said.
“But……”

Well everything went well. Alfredo and Nicky lived happily with their quads whom didn’t stop making life for Nicky frustrating.
She still got in to the family way again and gave birth to twins this time. A boy and a girl, which Alfredo named Curiae and Chloe.
Abner and Martyr had kids too but the first was a boy and the second were triplets, girls. Jade gave birth to a girl as her first and then a boy as the second and she was okay with that.
Noah still served his jail terms since he had a year left for him to return back home but at times he was allowed to return home and go back to the prison again.
As for Sarah she followed her heart and kept waiting for Noah to return and maybe get married to him?
Juan died doing her own delivery but her child lived and later became a very popular and wealthy scientist.
He was trained and loved by his grandparents and uncles. Hoping he finds his biological father one day.
Tyson and Thor concluded their university education with a nice degree. While Thor was a doctor,Tyson was a Barrister.
The bond between both family was stronger than any other. Their was peace, understanding, unity and love?
